I found my new car via auto trader, this was advertised at their Peterborough branch but we were informed the car was in rugby, we decided to travel up and very impressed.
I drove away with my new car on the day of enquiry with 5 day free insurance.
My sale was handled by Liviu however the 2 other guys were also very friendly. Service was above and beyond by all involved.
The showroom looks fresh, they have a great selection of cars available. Although we weren’t looking to buy any additional cars they allowed us to look round and inside the other cars.
I was given a contact for another guy within junction 17 for them to sell my car in my behalf, meaning I get a higher value than PX once my car sells, I dropped my car off at the Peterborough branch a week ago and the car is currently being marketed.
Would recommend and am happy with my new car. Thank you

Bought an Audi A7 3 Weeks ago. On the Drive home post purchase, the coolant warning light came on. Turns out the chamber had a crack in it and needed replacing.
Also the oil change service reminder came up and the window wipers needed replacing.
The heads up display doesn’t work, which apparently I need to take to Audi to look at.
All in all I have spent over £600 on repairs and service already.
Junction 17 have subsequently contacted me and we agreed on a sum they would contribute towards the repairs.
Heidi was very prompt with negotiations and the matter is now settled.

Terrible!!
What seemed like a nice pleasant transaction turned into a headache!
Traded my car in, went to pick up the new one, no log book! That itself worried me, so wanted to get my money back as non of this was mentioned until I’d paid, manager refused to refund me said he was in his rights to keep £27500 I’d transferred so no option but to carry on.. get in the car and the engine management light is on! So still can’t get my money back and don’t take the car as it’s being fixed! A week later I go to collect it, drive down the road light on again! Lost trust in the garage I took it to an independent Audi garage I’ve always used, ended up costing me as it went back 3 times in total and the fault was them! They’d fiddled with a fuel sensor and wired it wrong so the fault kept coming back. They paid for 1 fix which I again had to chase up. Just felt what should’ve been a pleasurable experience of buying a new car became a long headache! Oh and I then found the log book in the glove compartment so it wasn’t valeted or checked properly at all!

I was very disappointed. I reserved a car with the Junction 17 Cars Peterborough but the next day the seller informed me that it had already been sold because the listing had not been updated. This shows poor communication and a lack of respect for customers' time. As a result, I wasted my time and would not recommend this experience to others.

Absolutely awful. The customer service is shocking after purchasing a car from them.
The car had so much wrong with it, thousands of pounds worth of repairs were needed. The warranty covered nothing.
They don't want to talk to you. Hang up on phone calls and ignore emails.
Would not recommend!

I consigned my car with Junction 17 Cars Rugby after signing a contract with them. Shortly after, I was told two tyres needed replacing — I paid immediately. The car was listed but took over a month to sell. I reduced the price twice (£250 each time) to help move it.
The car sold on 19th June. I was told the PCP settlement would be made on 20th July. I promptly provided the settlement quote and transferred the additional £1,000 difference myself without delay.
I waited the entire month. When I chased them close to the 20th, nothing happened. On 21st July I was told the payment hadn't been made because they had misplaced my file. I asked for immediate payment and email confirmation. It is now 23rd July — no payment has been made and no written confirmation provided, despite verbal assurances.
My old finance remains unsettled over a month after the sale. They've told me verbally the payment is done but refuse to back it up in writing. If they have paid, a simple email with a BACS reference takes 30 seconds — there is no excuse for this.
Would not recommend. Once the sale is done, you are on your own.

We recently purchased a car from Junction 17 Cars. While our experience didn't get off to the smoothest start and there were issues along the way, the after-sales service was absolutely outstanding and completely turned things around.
I do feel there is an opportunity for the sales team to be more upfront, respond to emails more promptly, and ensure all the finer details are covered from the outset. However, once our concerns were raised to the aftersales team, the support we received was exceptional.
A special thank you to Heidi and Tori, who were both fantastic throughout the process. They were professional, responsive, understanding and worked hard to help resolve every issue we encountered. Their customer service was genuinely first class.
I'd also like to thank Benny, who joined the conversations later on and was outstanding in offering additional support and reassurance. His willingness to help and ensure we were looked after made a real difference.
Whilst the initial experience wasn't perfect, the after-sales team demonstrated exactly how customer service should be handled, and because of their efforts we were left feeling valued and supported. Thank you to Heidi, Tori and Benny for going above and beyond. 🚗👏

You might see this review and think "well that won't happen to me", which is exactly what I did before heading to Junction17.
I didn't initially want to leave a public review, but I feel other potential customers need to see this.
I went to view a BMW i8, and subsequently bought it, we paid for the warranty and the ceramic coating.
We were told the ceramic coating was going to be done that afternoon, so we could come back the next day to pick up the car.
The next day we made the two hour trip to collect the car, and we noticed it was still dirty (which means it wasn't ceramic coated.)
When we pointed this out at the dealership, one of the guys seemed frustrated that we pointed it out, and quickly jetwashed it, and started spraying a bottle of quick detailing spray on it... we paid £500+ for the ceramic coating might I add.
Ceramic coating is a 5-6 hour long process with suface prep, which is why it costs so much, it's not a £7 bottle of spray.
It was at this point we were given the documents for the car, where I noticed our "unlimited warranty", was capped at £1,000 per claim, which is not mentioned in the warranty documentation, nor by any sales representative.
Since then, my correspondence with Junction 17 has consisted of "sorry you feel that way", with promises that it will be resolved, and a few weeks on, nothing has been resolved.
It's frustrating, because the sales guy we initially dealt with, was honestly awesome, and wasn't pushy at all.
The issues don't stop there though.
The car says the next service is due in 14,000 miles, however there is no record of any service having taken place, however looking at the oil, I highly doubt they did do the service, and instead just reset the service intervals on the car. However their own warranty depends on the car having documentation for service intervals? So you take out a warranty, they don't give you the service documents, and then you can't claim? Will happily amend this review if they can provide the proof of the service, but they've said I need to wait a month for a copy of it?
I fail to believe that everyone in the company is happily going along with practices that are negligent at best, and fraudulent at worst.
To the owners of Junction 17:
You don't have to do business like this. The sheer volume of negative reviews would make any normal business owners pause and investigate how the business is running operationally. The complaint I've seen all come down to misold services (like ceramic coatings), and poor communication.
As a result, i've had to pay £600 to get my car booked in for a ceramic coating, £750 to book the car in for a full service, £3,500 for a warranty that actually covers anything of value.
Meanwhile Junction 17 haven't refunded me a penny.
EDIT: whilst writing this, I've had a detailing company confirm there is no ceramic coating on the car at all.
EDIT 2: After posting this review the dealership reported the review for containing "illegal and harmful content", Trust Pilot have reinstated it. Junction17 have stated they will refund the ceramic coating, and they are waiting to hear back about the proof of service and a refund for the warranty. I will update my review when resolved.
I cannot recommend Junction 17 Cars based on my experience.
I part-exchanged my car in good faith, trusting the promises that were made to me. Unfortunately, after the sale was completed, those promises quickly became meaningless. I have spent far too much time chasing money that I was assured would be paid.
I am still owed £7,600 for my part exchange, along with the £25 reimbursement for the missing V5C and £128.78 for the air conditioning re-gas that I had to pay for myself. Despite repeated assurances that payment was “being processed” or would be sent, nothing materialised. Communication has been poor, and I have been left constantly having to follow up instead of the dealership honouring its commitments.
The whole experience has been stressful, frustrating and completely avoidable. Buying a car should be an exciting experience, not one that leaves you chasing thousands of pounds that you are contractually owed.
Customer service doesn’t end when the paperwork is signed. Integrity, honesty and keeping your word are what define a reputable dealership, and in my experience, Junction 17 Cars has failed on all counts.
I sincerely hope they resolve this matter immediately, but until they do, I would strongly advise anyone considering buying from or selling to this dealership to proceed with extreme caution. Based on my experience, I would not return or recommend them to anyone.
Update. Payment has now been recived after numerous phone calls & emails, and they treat of legal action. Honestly, avoid this company. Buy your used cars elsewhere.
We had an outstanding experience buying our car mercedes Aclass for wife. From the very first conversation with Leonardo the seller. He is honest, professional, and genuinely cared about helping us find the right vehicle. He never put us under any pressure and answered every question with patience and transparency. It's rare to meet someone who is not only an excellent car seller but also a genuinely kind and trustworthy person.
A special thank you also goes to the mechanic Cam, who was incredibly knowledgeable and always happy to give honest advice. He took the time to explain everything clearly. The ceramic coating he applied was completed to an exceptionally high standard, and the finish looks absolutely fantastic.
We highly recommend both of them and whole Junction 17 car dealer to anyone looking for a quality car and first-class service. Their professionalism, honesty, and dedication to customer satisfaction are second to none. Thank you
I want to be fair and start by saying that the sales person who sold me the car, was brilliant — friendly, helpful, and made the buying process smooth. I originally left a 5‑star review because of him.Unfortunately, everything that happened after the sale has been extremely disappointing.I discovered that the finance agreement was set up at £297/month, even though the figure shown and agreed at the dealership was £197/month. That’s a £100/month difference over five years — a major error. I have been trying to get this corrected for several weeks, contacting the dealership repeatedly, but nobody responds to emails or calls. On top of that, the car mats I paid I've been promised (and were confirmed at the point of sale) have still not been delivered, despite multiple reminders. The lack of communication and failure to resolve serious issues has completely overshadowed what started as a positive experience. I now have to escalate this formally because the dealership simply won’t reply.Great salesperson — but the aftercare and accountability have been below expectations.
My experience with Junction 17 was extremely disappointing from start to finish.
We travelled to Junction 17 to purchase a vehicle that we had seen advertised online. Unfortunately, shortly after leaving the dealership, the vehicle developed an engine fault and went into limp mode. We returned it to Junction 17 almost immediately and left the vehicle with them.
From that point onwards, the experience became a lengthy and frustrating process. We informed Junction 17 that we wished to reject the vehicle due to the fault that occurred almost immediately after collection. We repeatedly requested a diagnostic report so we could understand the cause of the fault before any repairs were carried out. We even offered to arrange, at our own expense, for an RAC-registered mechanic to carry out an independent diagnostic inspection, but we did not receive a response to that offer.
Communication throughout the process was, in my experience, poor. We spent many weeks chasing updates by phone and email and often found ourselves having to pursue matters rather than receiving proactive communication. As we were unable to resolve the issue directly with Junction 17, we sought assistance from our finance company. After nearly 12 weeks with little progress, we referred the matter to the Financial Ombudsman. Within a relatively short period after the Ombudsman’s involvement, the vehicle was rejected, the finance was settled, and our part-exchange vehicle was returned to us.
A further issue arose when our documents were returned. Junction 17 had possession of our vehicle’s log book, owner’s manual, service history and receipts. While the service history was returned, the owner’s manual and folder were not. We raised this with the dealership, but we were informed that they had no record of it. I cannot say what happened to it, but it has never been returned to us, which was extremely disappointing.
In my opinion, this entire experience demonstrated poor communication, an unnecessarily prolonged resolution process, and inadequate care when handling customers’ property. While I appreciate that problems can arise with any used vehicle, I believe the way those problems are managed is what defines good customer service. Unfortunately, based on my experience, Junction 17 fell well below my expectations.
This review reflects my own personal experience and is based on my correspondence, telephone records and the outcome of the dispute. Others may have a different experience, but I would not choose to use Junction 17 again.
Bought a used BMW today, very good experience, didn’t get quite what I would have liked for my trade in, but not unreasonable. Very well dealt with by Philip, most professional, Also spoke with the boss. They have great stock. Can fully recommend.
