I ordered 90 Winter Pansy garden ready plants. A few had come out of their pots in transit, but all were healthy. Not as large as stated, but acceptable. They are now safely transplanted. They arrived... See more

I bought Johnson’s tumbling tomatoes seeds from a reputable garden centre, when I was ready to sow them there was only 6 seeds in the packet, I wanted to sow a pot for my Grandson & some for me but could only do one pot. Very disappointing.

Just opened a packet of Tomato Shirley F1 seeds to find only 9 seeds inside. I was expecting at least 25 !!!

Got charged £3.99 for Johnsons seeds, one packet of tomatoes,,,,
There was a problem, there were only 12 seeds for four quid, that makes them .33p pence each, must be good seeds and produce 50kg per seed to be viable.
Waiting to hear from Johnsons, if it's favourable I will remove this NEGITIVE feedback, might even give positive feedback, reply will have to be A1 for that.

Order no.270150
I'm a RHS qualified Gardner, I ordered a few pack of narcissus pseudonarcissus, after planted already few last year, this is a small native wild plant from the UK, it is (30/35cm tall), they sent me 3 packages of big daffodils labelled as Narcissus pseudonarcissus, big like a chestnut, obviously if it is the case the mistake has been done at the origin from the nursery, maybe on purpose because this bulbs are more expensive than the other modern breeds, what does surprise me is that they told me they still believe they sent me narcissus pseudonarcissus, now I sent them schedule and picture from Kew website clearly showing size of the mature plant and bulb, and showed them the bulbs I planted last year, which are 4/5 times smaller than those they sent, and with a different shape, I'm waiting for their reply now, also this was last items in stock, means that if it is true they sold all the stock for something it is not really what they say it is, in addition would have been sold with the wrong plant passport, and that would sounds even like a bigger mistake to me..

I placed an order on 9 September mainly for snowdrops to plant on my husband's grave. I was not aware that the snowdrop bulbs were not available until the rest of the order had arrived which advised they would be sent out from 29 October onwards. I phoned on the 6 October to confirm this and then waited and waited and waited. I phoned approximately 4 times to chase up this order and every time I was told they had arrived at the company and were being dispatched but they never arrived. I finally asked for a refund and then had to pay delivery again with another company. Bulbs arrived after 5 days and ready to be planted. Very frustrating as I feel staff members at Johnsons should have just said bulbs delayed especially as I said they were for a grave. I have given 1 star as phone always picked up.

The bulbs are a good size and look in great condition the delivery was good for the bulbs and the seeds ordered.

About half the bare root wallflowers arrived in very poor condition and have not revived even after standing in a bucket of water as recommended. After a couple of days planted out they show no sign of reviving. I suspect the plants were too long in transit as there was a long delay between being informed that they had been dispatched and them actually arriving. Very disappointing and my planned display for spring has been spoiled.

I was very disappointed with the condition of the wallflower plants. The leaves were dropping off and the roots were bone dry. I can't say that I expect many of the plants to recover and produce a good show of flowers.

It seems a little harsh giving 3 stars as I feel it was the courier company who was probably at fault. It took 6 days for our wallflowers to be delivered. They were bone dry and badly wilted and broken? out of 30 only 17 were half decent. Our delivery driver said that they throw things around in the warehouse and apologised to us. I contacted customer services who refunded my money immediately, they were really apologetic and understanding. I only contacted them to tell them about the courier service, not to complain about them and didn’t ask for a refund. The plants looked as if they were very healthy when they were originally dispatched. The customer service lady thanked me and said she would take things further.

The plants were dead when they arrived with me. Customer services have not as yet responded to my email.

bit disappointed with the wallflowers although i expected some yellowing of the leaves i did not expect them to be dead and falling off. i have tidied them up and hope threy will recover because there are still green leaves.

Placed my order for wallflowers in July order received 28th October which was fine however opening the box the plants were in a state and it appears they were dispatched on the 21st October so they were in delivery process for a week anyway called and told Woolmans they asked for photos then order no and postcode within about 30 mins I was informed I would be getting a full refund that is excellent customer service

You did what you said you would, and what we expected.

Ordered bare root wallflowers this year again as I had been really pleased with the plants last year. However, the plants weren’t quite so good. It seemed like they had been tied in the bunch for a little too long as there was some rot and yellowing of the leaves. I planted them same day I received them so will monitor how they do.
