John Bacash is a very compassionate

John Bacash is a very compassionate, knowledgeable and effective psychologist who helped me understand how my past traumas were effecting my life.
I have learnt through him skills to recognise and shift anxious or negative thoughts into self understanding and implementation of beneficial thought strategies resulting in a more positive and happier life.
I highly recommend him.

His Heart is not in it

I saw John Bacash for several sessions back in 2007/08.
He is possibly the worst psychologist I have ever been to !!
Usually three quarters of the session was in a meditation format.
He would leave the room and go and grab a coffee mid meditation.
Sometimes I would open my eyes before time and he would taking a power nap.
He lacked empathy and insight (his heart wasn't in it) and I absolutely got nothing out of it (except a hefty bill) which was the only thing he was happy to talk about.
I almost gave up on therapy and its worth altogether after seeing him.
Luckily, I didn't give up and found that there was much better help elsewhere.
