Instantly Regret Ordering Couch-Awful CS
I ordered a couch without reading about the poor quality. We had just bought a new house. I was trying to make the 10,000th quick decision. Something about the consistency of the reviews sounding like they were all written from the same person didn’t sit right. It all felt kind of scammy. So I cancelled my couch the very next day. It had already shipped so I was told by CS person #1 that I would get my money back with just the 10% restocking fee removed. Didn’t hear back for about a week. Next person, CS #2, I talked to said I would have to pay the return shipping (unknown amount) + 10% restock fee. No email threads to confirm anything. Third person, CS #3, I talked to sent me an email with the math written out in the email body. Like no transaction record, no official cancellation, no idea where the amount to reship it came from, and overall no confidence that how much money I’m getting back is real, and no estimate of a time I’d get my money back. Just whenever the shipper feels like scheduling a return from one warehouse to another. So it really just feels like a bunch of customer service people saying ‘I super promise you’ll get some money back, maybe, someday’.
I was on the verge of disputing the charge on my credit card. I would never ever ever in a million years give money to Jennifer Taylor Homes again. I learned an expensive lesson to do thorough research before spending significant money.
I wouldn't order from this company ever again
Honestly, I really like my couch, but it came delivered in a giant box that they would not cart away, fine, whatever. I open the giant box to realize that their is a broken piece of pallet with 5 huge nails sticking in the box right through to the side of the couch. Yes, there is some damage and I sent pictures, all info. They want to take 100 dollars off. 100 dollars is nothing these days! So I let too much time go by, I do not have the time to deal with this. I should have demanded a new couch but I dont have the personality to fight the fight. I just dont. So here I am, getting screwed over because I'm not a demanding customer. But I will never order from them again, never!
Aspen Vertical Tufted Platform Bed
I purchased the Aspen Vertical Tufted Headboard Platform Bed Set directly from Jennifer Taylor Home’s website on November 2 because it is advertised as having ‘support slats that are removable for use with adjustable beds.’ When the bed arrived and was assembled on January 9, my adjustable base could not be used as implied: the inner frame rails make contact with the base, and the only way to make it fit was to add 6‑inch risers, which makes the bed impractically high and completely changes the intended appearance.
I contacted the company the same day with photos and a detailed explanation, but they repeatedly refused a refund, insisting the bed is ‘compatible’ and hiding behind a ‘custom order/final sale’ position rather than acknowledging that their advertising about use with adjustable beds is materially misleading. They also told me management would review the case and respond within a few business days, then failed to follow up on time and ultimately offered only a small partial refund while still denying responsibility.
In my view, the Aspen bed is misrepresented as suitable for adjustable beds because critical limitations and dimensional caveats are not disclosed in the product description; the burden is unfairly shifted to the customer to discover incompatibilities after purchase. I am left with an expensive bed that does not function as advertised and a company unwilling to stand behind its own marketing, and I do not recommend purchasing directly from Jennifer Taylor Home.
I ordered a gorgeous couch with caster…
I ordered a gorgeous couch with caster legs in the front. It looks GREAT! But within one month of it being in a room we rarely use, the casters started breaking- they’re not real casters, but are attached to shortened legs with three tiny screws. The way the legs are constructed they can’t hold much weight. No one in my house weighs over 190 pounds, and we’ve never sat on it together. I contacted Jennifer Taylor home customer service and was told that there was nothing they could do about it. I asked for replacement legs, because as cool as the casters look, I was hoping to get some boring solid couch legs in the right size to replace them with. Now I’m stuck trying to scour the Internet for replacement couch legs, but I’m having a hard time with the exact size. So the couch is essentially useless. I am so disappointed with the quality of the furniture and complete lack of customer service and will not recommend these products to anyone in the future.
Really disappointing experience.
I purchased the Americana Mid-Century Modern - Cane Back Counter Stools for my kitchen. I fell in love with the images posted on their website. The coloring was rich and matched the aesthetic of my home. Unfortunately when they arrived, I was extremely disappointed. They’re orange - think 90’s oak kitchen cabinets. The product does not match the images pictured at all. I immediately contacted customer service who refused to acknowledge the color difference after they requested multiple images via email. They told me that I can return them, but that I’d have to pay for the shipping of each and a 10% restocking fee for each chair. Such a disappointing experience. I do not recommend purchasing from this business.

Don’t recommend at all
Don’t recommend at all. They claim products will ship by a certain date and keep pushing it back. It’s been nearly two months and I haven’t received items. I would not have ordered if the timeframe was made clear from the start. For the one item I did receive, quality is not great and other reviews say the same thing. Be careful and I recommend avoiding this company.

Within a year one of the wooden legs splintered when I sat on it- I am a whole 100lbs and 5 ft 5
When I called they acknowledged that the warranty was still in place but informed me that I would need to send it back to the company in the original box and at my cost and then upon their examination they would determine whether they would give me a refund. I advised them that after 11 months I no longer had the box and that the shipping cost would basically match the cost of the chair. I was very snuggly told that I should have read the warranty when I bought the chairs— I never received the warranty when I paid for the chairs online through a well known vendor who was selling on behalf of Jennifer Taylor— I ended up getting a refund but i will never buy anything from them again!
Don’t be fooled by the beautiful design- they have a lot to learn about both customer service and merchandise standards!

The designs are beautiful. The quality is so poor I can't find an adjective that doesn't include an expletive. I spent a fortune on a velvet sofa that promptly fell apart within 18 months. I am 5'4" and 125lbs - not exactly a heavy sofa burden. The "customer service" is AWFUL. The "white glove" service simply means they won't leave the furniture in your front yard. If you do decide to waste your money, keep the original packaging. They will not accept a return without it - and it will STILL cost you a fortune to return it.

I wish I had seen the reviews before I bought from them. Their customer service is horrible. I wanted to return to sofas that I had gotten. They were too small even though I tried seven days prior to return them, but they told me they will charge me restocking fees and shipping so I figure I’ll look at them when I receive them and then decide they were too small so I decided to return them. I had paid 2000 for two sofas. They’re charging me 550 to return them. I think that’s way too much to pay for two sofas they were not willing to work with me at all to bring the price down. Very bad customer service.

Our couch had a defect in the material, we worked with the staff and came up with a satisfactory resolution. Very satisfied with their customer service. Quality of the couch is excellent.
TERRIBLE COMPANY
Whatever you do, do not order from this company. Its been a month since my order was placed. and I still haven't received the bed. Cannot get any update on when the bed will arrive. It is at a terminal in Little Rock, Arkansas and they will not give me any information on when the next "scheduled" delivery route in my area will be. I have ordered bigger furniture items online before and have never had such an issue dealing with a company. After I requested to cancel the order they told me I would have to pay a restocking fee. Then they told me I could drive to the terminal 4.5 hours away and pick up the bed. Save your time and money and shop elsewhere.
CONSUMER BEWARE
CONSUMER BEWARE! We ordered a king-size, “antique white” platform bed. This bed is not anywhere on the white color spectrum. It’s beige on a good day. The online photo shows a white bed with white bedding on it. IRL, the yellow/ivory color clashes with the builder paint in our brand new home & simply looks terrible (dirty & yellow) with our blue & white bedding. We ordered & paid for “white glove delivery”, which means the delivery team not only sets up, but removes all the packaging from the house when they leave. We do not want this bed, but JT Home says it’s “not returnable” if it’s not in their original packaging. Total scam to avoid returns! No wonder this company tops out with just a 3 star rating. To us they are a 1 star.
