AVOID! Shipped purposely damaged goods!

I ordered a chemical sprayer handle and wand. The end is a 2 foot straight metal tube with the adjuster on the end. When I received the part, it was bent in a unusable C shape to fit inside a too short square box. I was able to reach Customer Service, sent pics, and was promised a replacement, but I never received an update or a replacement part. I then called back several times. Same story as others; "You are next in the queue. 0 minute wait.", yet no one answers. I filled out the online Customer Service form, but again, no reply. Filing a complaint with my CC company. AVOID!

Honest

Honest, truthful and constructive OMG, Jacks Small Energy must practice what they preach.
I Don't know who owns this very bad company but he truly needs to read how dissatisfied and POed the consumer are with his very ignorant and zero customer service employees. Not one person was helpful, respectful or had any knowledge regarding the service industry. I posted this on Facebook and other Social Media network. I may even post my warning on a 1/2 page add, thats how POed I am at those imbeciles for employees. I've been in business since I was 12 years old and had as much as 156 employees at one point. I believe employees are a direct reflection of the owner, prove me wrong Jack. Don't buy from Jacks small engines people.

Sorry Customer Service

Ordered a replacement board for my generator load tx switch. After 1 month back order tried to call customer service to cancel. Spent 15 minutes on hold with 2 ahead and another long period with 1 ahead of me. The last 20 minutes i was on hold was I'm next. Zero minutes wait. I hung up. SORRY CUSTOMER SERVICE

Ordered two chainsaw chains from Jack's…

Ordered two chainsaw chains from Jack's Small Engine, several days after the order was placed I was notified one chain was on back order. Telephoned Jack's Small Engine to cancel the back order and ship the chain they had. I had nine (9) callers ahead of me and the longer I waited on the phone the longer my wait time became (strange). Finally reached customer service and canceled the back order but have not received my chain. I since ordered 3 chains from Amazon & they arrived today. Save yourself the headache don't use Jack's Small Engine

Ordered carburetor for my trimmer

Ordered carburetor for my trimmer. Talked to rep. She said she would be sending a return label within two days. They told me the part was in stock so whats the hold up. Now she's telling me it's gonna be 6 weeks. Now I'm down for 6 weeks of work. They have the worst customer service ever. They want you to give up calling and get free money.
DO NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY!!

Ordered item from Jack's Small Engines…

Ordered item from Jack's Small Engines on 4/29/23.
It is now 6/8/23, still saying "vendor delay". I checked, and many other online sites have this product, which I ordered from another supplier today. When I called to cancel I was told by the recording that there were 8 callers ahead of me. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY.

Got the wrong blade for the chainsaw…

Got the wrong blade for the chainsaw they shipped me. An hour with customer service on the phone and they had absolutely no idea how to solve it. Emails go unanswered and I think their approach to customer service is to simply ignore the customer and hope he goes away.

Worst customer service in the small engine business

I've been waiting for a part from Jack's for almost two months. Called customer service and was on hold for 25 minutes. My order had been cancelled but the cancellation email went to my Junk folder, which is exactly where Jack's Small Engines belongs. The response from the customer service rep was try calling every two to three weeks to see if we get the part. What a joke of a company and based on the lousy reviews I can see I'm not the only one that has experienced this. I'm also never purchasing from Northern Tool either, since they outsourced their parts department to Jacks.

Wrong part, poor communication, poor customer service

Wrong part, because the newer compressors have an "o" after the part number, but they never asked for the serial number so they got it wrong. When I told them it was wrong a women looked for the diagram and couldn't find, so she told me to go to the manufacturer and get it for them, which they should have done. When returning the part, I had to pay the postage. Still waiting for the refund, crossing my fingers. Communication went dead when I asked about having to pay the postage. I went to another vendor and things went awesome in comparison.
I hate to give 1 star reviews because I have a business of my own but I don't know why I should give any more stars.

I ordered two key at 2 am online for $7…

I ordered two key at 2 am online for $7 plus dollars, shipping stated $8 and some change. When the order was place shipping went up to $29 plus dollars. I canceled the order on the web site. I called the company at 12. Noon EST the same day to cancel the order. The guy I spoke to said the order was packed and on the truck with 500 other box and could not be canceled. I find that very had to believe this company with all the complaints filed against it on file with the better business b. I told him that I will refuse the package and dispute it with my credit card and file a complaint. He stated do what I want the order could not be canceled. He stated shipping was expensive because it goes though Canada and is shipped by the post office. The guy must not be knowledgeable how mail is shipped to Alaska. He then state he would see about getting shipping reduced but could not promise anything because I’m the one that place the order. I believe this company is scamming. Why would it give one price on shipping and then only after the order is placed it increases three fold without the ability to cancel the order and on the truck ready to ship in less than 10 hour, I find hard to believe. Watch out Amazon jacks is taking over !

Order cancelled a week after purchase by Jacks with no explaination

Very poor service- I ordered 4 mower parts, and 2 were showing in stock, Jacks' emails confirmation states 2 are in stock and they are awaiting supplier to deliver the other 2 on order- a week later I get an email saying order cancelled, and a refund has been processed. No apologies , no one contacting me to discuss the order whatsoever. I should have looked the their Reviews first !!

Deceptive selling practices & bad customer service..

This company advertises stuff as if it's in stock but in turn orders from a manufacturer or vendor. You don't know this when you place your order. You then get a back order notice and wait weeks to get your parts. If they are unable to get something from the vendor they don't notify you and give you an opportunity to cancel. They just ship your order incomplete. You pay the whole shipping charge but have to get what was missing somewhere else and pay another shipping charge. If you're unhappy they simply won't care. Beware. This is not a good company.

I ordered a Zero turn mower from jacks on August 29, 2021. On Nov. 2 , 2021. I canceled the order because they did not have any in stock & could not get any. On Nov. 2 , 2021 i called “Mowers Direct”. Talked to Mike , he said they had 8 in stock. WHY is jack having a problem getting mowers????

Painfully slow shipping and poor customer service

Their shipping and customer service is very, very bad. I have ordered parts from them that have taken over 2 months to ship (not exaggerating). Parts I might add that I needed immediately, with no apologies. Almost everything I order from them takes weeks to ship.

And to make matters worse, they've been purchased by another winner of a company, Northern Tool.

I would give them zero stars if I…

I would give them zero stars if I could. I ordered a spark plug, air filter and fuel filter for my chainsaw. Their website boasts 2-4 days shipping. Order was placed June 4, 2021 and didn't ship until June 18, 2021. I emailed them twice with questions and got no reply. I finally called and talked to somebody who told me this is their busiest time of the year and that they had to order my parts. I informed them that they needed to have the parts sent directly to the customer in such instances rather than to them where they sit on them for several days and then ship them to customer. He said I hadn't ordered enough products to do that. I then suggested that they change what their website says because it is creating an expectation of fast shipping that just isn't reality. He said they wouldn't do that. When I pointed out that it wasn't right to lie to customers that way he hung up on me.
I'll never order anything from them again.

Over 2 months of waiting, Still get extended delay status.

I placed an order for over 2 months now. They take your payment as soon as you place an order but never get the items ordered. Called them twice, both times they said the items are not in their warehouse and they are still waiting these from the manufacturer, over 2 months now and no definite time when I'm going to received my order. I ended up cancelling them. What a waste of time. I just hope, I will get my full refund. They said 2 business days, we'll see.
