I decided to opt out of the program as the study was new and was launched and had 0 guidance from teachers. I just had to read and learn countless pages without any other back up. It is impossible to memorize a 500 page books with complete new material and then make a test about it and continue in that manner for the next 3 years.

Altough I was misinformed by their employees that termination was 1 month, it turned out to be 3 months. However, due to holiday season they responded later from their end but then sued me for another month of termination claiming I was unclear. Resulting in 4 month termination.

I paid already way too long for a study that wasn't bringing me anywhere, having a termination date of 4 months make the whole experience even more horrible. I had to put a lawyer on the case and I am still after 6 months trying to come to a resolution.

Long story short: if you like to overpay for 4 months this is probably your institute. I never experienced such a ridiculous situation in my life after I have conducted multiple studies at different institutes world wide. Unfortunately for me, seems that from the start to where we are now I wasted an additional 1000 EUR on the already wasted fees. Never again, won't recommend.

They care about our every need as a student. They are organised and Jannis provides EXCELLENT quality coaching- results showed after I have had time with my IU Coach. Navigating Part-Time studies is challenging with the unknowns of life, but if you dedicated and committed, results will show. Appreciate their constant feedback to actively improve their service and you see/experience the changes being done. Enjoying the experience!

This university is one of the worst decisions I’ve ever made. The service is absolutely terrible. Some of the staff who answer the phone are rude and even aggressive. Instead of helping you, they make you feel like you're bothering them.

They often make mistakes in your records or applications, and instead of taking responsibility, they expect you to prove they made the mistake. And even then, they still don’t fix things quickly.

Email communication is just as bad — if they reply at all, it takes ages, and most of the time the answer is unclear or useless.

I’ve lost time, energy, and peace of mind trying to deal with this university. I regret enrolling here and would not recommend it to anyone. If you care about proper support and respect, look elsewhere.

I had the chance to have a session with coach jannis today. I'm overwhelmed with my online studies , he suggested many plans and solutions. For example, we going to start working on managing stress in exam.

I don't think I'd be this clear headed and know what to do with myself regarding my studies without Jannis. He was patient, realistic and practical. He didn't blame me for falling behind or anything. A very kind perosn just wanting the best for students. I'm grateful to Jannis and IU.

I deeply regret my experience with this school. After deciding to cancel my studies, I followed their rules and paid the 3-month cancellation fee as required. However, since then, I have been completely ignored.

I’ve received no confirmation, no proper communication, and no guidance on how to officially finalize my cancellation. It feels like they are intentionally avoiding me in order to demand more money. At this point, I feel scammed — as if I’m not allowed to leave the school, and they only care about getting more payments from me, not about the students or proper procedures.

This has been an extremely disappointing and stressful experience. I would not recommend this school to anyone.

The study coach meeting is always an excellent opportunity for students to ask questions and challenges and to request a consultative view of how their studies are going. In my case, the meetings have always been very useful and have answered many questions.

My contract was cancelled and I complied with their rediculous terms and conditions, and made the final payment. They then proceed to deduct the monthly payment again twice!
In their standard response here in trust pilot they tell you to mail their review@ email so that they can resolve your complaint but don't even bother, they don't respond to mails sent to it.

Be cautious with this institution. They include a clause stating that unless you complete at least 50% of your studies, you are not considered an official student. This means that if you leave the program early—say, with 40% of your ECTS credits completed—those credits will not be recognized or transferable to another university. Despite having paid a significant amount in monthly fees, this policy feels extremely unfair and restrictive. I have not encountered any other university with such conditions.
I can say that because I was scammed by this University.

At a time when I have been feeling overwhelmed and unsure about how to manage my studies and exam preparation, Jannis has taken the time to listen, understand my current strategies, and has offered a piece of thoughtful, practical advice. Our conversation helped me recognize the need to reshape my approach, and I have adopted new methods that make me feel more confident and energized. I’m truly grateful for the support and guidance. Extremely encouraging and interactive environment. All the professors encourage us to communicate any queries or uncertainty we may have. Another important factor is the career service. In order to meet all the requirements we may have, they strive far beyond.

As a master's student in Cybersecurity on a scholarship program, my three years at this university have been nothing short of exceptional. Coming from Africa, the opportunity I've been given is something I deeply cherish, and the university has truly exceeded all expectations.

From the incredibly helpful staff in the student and finance offices who were always ready to assist, to the passionate and knowledgeable lecturers and professors who made learning engaging and inspiring, every interaction has been positive. The interactive online platform and well-structured online sessions made learning accessible and effective. I've been so impressed by the overall standard of education provided.

I'm now in the final stretch, with just one course and my thesis remaining, and I look back on the past three years with immense gratitude. This university has not only provided me with a world-class education in a critical field but has also fostered an environment where I felt supported and empowered every step of the way.

Thank you to everyone at the university for this incredible opportunity and experience. It's been truly transformative!

Everything at IU is designed to help you learn by doing. That’s the approach I was looking for, and I’m very grateful for the opportunity to study at this university.
Interaction with colleagues and professors is also excellent.
