I have been charged $2,250 for a subscription I have never signed up for. This is complete theft! Has anyone had the same experience? I’m furious

WE have been a subscription account on ISSUU for several years then without any notice to us we found they had changed their subscriptions and ours had been upgraded to something we didn't need but more importantly the price went through the roof. We downgraded to their basic account and asked for a refund that's where it has stopped I tried to contact them through their online portals and via email and only got Ai responses so far I'm frustrated and think we may be out of pocket to the tune of several thousand dollars. VERY UPSET with ISSUU which we had once held in high esteem and actively promoted.

Massive price hike with no warning - scam like - find another provider.

I have been using Issuu for a while, but I am extremely disappointed with how they handled their recent pricing changes. My subscription price skyrocketed almost 8 times without any prior notification!

I was paying a reasonable fee, and suddenly, they expect me to pay $269/month (now $188 after a so-called discount) for the same service. The worst part? They didn’t even bother to inform their customers. I only found out when I checked my account, which is completely unacceptable.

To add insult to injury, they try to pressure you with “limited-time offers” to make you pay more. This feels like an underhanded tactic to squeeze more money out of loyal customers.

If you are considering using Issuu, be prepared for sudden price increases and poor communication. I highly recommend looking for alternatives unless you want to get blindsided by unfair pricing.

Issuu.com is an absolute nightmare when it comes to billing and customer support. Their payment system is broken, their so-called "helpful" troubleshooting steps are useless, and their support team is either non-existent or deliberately ignoring customers.

I followed every step they outlined to resolve my billing issue—guess what? None of them worked. I have now submitted multiple support tickets, yet I’m STILL waiting for an actual response that isn’t just an automated message. No resolution, no updates, just silence.

At this point, it feels like Issuu is actively trying to make it impossible for customers to get their issues resolved. They’re happy to take your money, but if something goes wrong? Good luck. You'll be stuck in a loop of frustration, waiting for a reply that never comes.

If you’re considering using Issuu, don’t. Their customer service is abysmal, their billing system is unreliable, and they clearly have no interest in supporting paying customers. Save yourself the headache and take your business elsewhere.

The worst customer service I have ever known. Multiple job tickets issued for a problem which is ISSUUs not mine. Left with AI responses that does nothing to fix the problem. (Subscription links no longer working). Waited 8 days and still no response from a human… or one of the ‘dedicated members of the support team’. Costing me money and clients. Bloody awful.

Sometimes you feel that tech companies have only bots behind and you get cold and default answers. I made a mistake choosing my subscription and, after some steps, finally Justin answer me with removing my subscription, refunding the whole amount and allowing me to choose freely my best plan. I use Issuu since many years and now they have customer forever. Thanks.

Extortionate hike in direct debit payment taken without permission. No customer service. Can't speak to anyone. Emails not responded to. Seems like this is happening to many others from the recent reviews being left.

We requested a full refund since december and their department confirmed that we'll receive a full refund within 30 days. We still emailing them and not receiving a professional response. We had to open a new ticket which is still open and we provided them with a screenshot of their refund confirmation email. Still no response and no refund received. Not recommended by us.

Charged me 4 times the authorized amount and won't return emails.

Great system but greed has taken over. Plans have increased 5x, and they want £1,800 a year. I've been ISSUU for years but I'll moving to another provider. This new approach is unviable and unethical, so I cannot trust this platform anymore in my business.

I have been a customer of issuu for over ten years. In that time the cost of the service has crept up, that's the cost of life and that's fine within itself. Imagine my disappointment to find the standard monthly payments sneaked up a few months ago by 600% - over $300 per month for an extremely lightly used service. I don not believe it was done in a clear or transparent way, and I believe it is a short-term attempt at profit gouging! a customer of 10 continual years should be rewarded - NOT EXPLOITED !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Charged for the new unlimited plan in Nov ( increase of $400) when asked for Starter plan and then in Dec asked for monthly Starter plan and 100 unlisted and we have been charged for yearly Stater and no unlisted.
Have AI responses that do not address the issues and say I can now change this in DEC 2025! NOT suitable!!
Very poor responses especially when I have emailed and sent screen captures to show what was requested at the time

The concept of ISSUU is simple to work with, produces quality social content and as a valuable additional platform for effective long content marketing.

I have an issuu account which I can't log in to. I've tried every method possible including password resets but for some reason Issuu won't let me gain access to my account, and the material I have published.

I've tried to contact the Issuu team using their online help centre on 3 different occasions now, and no one ever comes back to me.

Terrible service and I expect better.

Issue helped me pass my job interview. I couldn’t afford the annual bill but forgot to change after the trial ran out, they were really quick with the refund and I will keep using the service on a monthly basis

As many of you may know issuu recently 6x their annual subscription price, fortunately after a few back-and-forth emails I was able to receive a full refund so makes good gesture
