On October 17, 2025 ISSUU sent a snapshot confirmation
they of refund $2371.95 to my PayPal account after I
indicated an unauthorized purchase. I still have not
received the $2371.95. Now that I am trying to contact
customer service using the same email that is listed with
the PayPal merchant that originally sent me the refund
snapshot, you get an email reply
stating that the email is no longer in service and you have
to contact them using a link that prompts you to login.
However, I keep explaining I do not have a login to login

My Purchase is not my purchase.

RE: According to our retention policies, content on Issuu (including flipbooks) is retained for 12 months from the start of inactivity—that is, when there is no interaction with Issuu’s services or platform. After this period, the account and all associated content are permanently deleted.

Just realized that Issuu changed the number of page limit from 50 to 10 (Basic free plan).
That means that for half a year I've been directing people to my page without realizing that my documents were not accessible.
How about emailing some information about this, before making the changes.

What went wrong this time? Gee how to begin. I started their unlimited plan free trial for my publication which was fine and all but then I could only afford the starter plan afterwards which I've tried downgrading to. When i cancelled the direct debit for the unlimited plan, issuu immediately took down my publication (a portfolio, whose link I have already made a qr code of and circulated around potential employers). I'm a student and I tried to use the student discount code to upgrade to starter to get it back, it says I have upgraded but my account continued to show up as a basic account (with the portoflio deleted) the next day. When i investigated this and tried upgrading to starter again from my side, this time there was no checkout window, there was no discount code section, it just immediately took money out of my account without authorisation. I have had to fight to get this money back despite having reqeusted for an immediate refund, and not only that issuu refused to refund the full amount it took from my account (£212.60), of which they only refunded (£197.45). Now this may not seem like a large amount to some, but I am only student, and it is currently the christmas holidays which means I've got presents to get. The principle simply isn't right with this company and i strongly STRONGLY suggest that anybody looking to use this platform to host their portfolio, should find somewhere else to do so, lest you bring upon yourself a wrathful headache.

Issuu customer service is completely unreachable. We've been trying to delete our account for weeks, and the only support they provide is a "submit a request" form. I've sent two "requests" with no answer and no action. There is no phone number, no account representative, and no email to reach them. Think twice before trying Issuu.

After using ISSUU happily for several years they decided to increase our annual subscription from $420 and took an automatic payment of $2200 without warning.
Yes, you read that right, a near five-fold increase and payment taken without agreement to the increase.
Extremely sharp practice that can only be dealt with in one way- immediate cancellation and a review to hopefully warn others.
GET BENT ISSUU!

Used issuu for well over a decade. Service has plummeted and pricing continues to go up. The only support you get is automated bot emails that claim your issue is resolved when it clearly is not. We're moving to Publuu. Tried it. Works just as well and is WAY cheaper.

I was gonna comment here and then I saw that this is pattern because other users are reporting it. This company is a scam. I created an account to try out uploading a pdf and got hit sneakily with an email saying that my trial had began and there would me an automatic renewal at $416.67 per month, billed yearly. This being after 6 days after of account creation!!! Luckily I never associated billing and saw this outrageous email. Made me panic and I lost hours of sleep. I went straight to delete the subscription and then the account. Stay away!!!

I WAS AN ACTIVE MEMBER OF ISSUU for years until you raised the prices. I decided to re-instate my membership and ISSUU double billed me. Not good.

I reached out to issuu about a problem I was having with my portfolio link. I was super frustrated and Alessia helped out and fixed the problem immediately. I also learned a better way of updating it so that was super helpful. Overall she and her team were very helpful and responsive.

They were really fast to respond, very sweet and helped me immediately.

I uploaded one single PDF to Issuu — nothing fancy, just testing their platform.
A few days later I received a $5,000 invoice for their “Teams” plan.
I never selected or confirmed any paid subscription. Luckily, VISA blocked the payment before it went through.
I’m not calling it fraud, but let’s say their upgrade process is… creatively automated.
No harm done, except for a sleepless night and a brand-new credit card.
Advice: if you ever try Issuu, double-check every button and every “free trial.”
