Exceptional poor service - still awiting a refund
The Ironmongery website is massively out of date - we chose a pick up location, Matalan Milton Keynes - when we got there Matalan told us they stopped accepting parcels months ago - we contacted Ironmongery and arranged a different delivery address - we told them IT HAD to be delivered by the Wednesday as we were taking the order overseas and would be leaving very early Thursday. I called twice to check this was OK - the second call I was told delivery could only happen now on Thursday - i told them that was no good, so whilst on the phone the order was cancelled and a refund was arranged - The parcel then was delivered (which of course is of no use) and I have still not received a refund. Honestly a complete shambles and I suppose I now have to waste more of my time getting the refund.

I do not have any issue with the product itself.
However, I have been extremely unimpressed by and disappointed with the service provided by your courier DX Express and this will make me question whether or not to buy from you again.
The courier attempted to deliver in person but gave no time at all to answer the front door and was already driving away within seconds of knocking at the door. Within seconds of answering 2 phone calls on subsequent days, presumably to see if I could take delivery of my item, the courier had hung up with no way for me to return the call. I consider this a very poor customer experience indeed and would warn anyone thinking of buying from you to beware of this.
For the record, I have now received my item, earlier than the projected time that was sent to me by text and email and with no knock at the door or phone calls.
Maybe you should reconsider using DX Express as I have not had this problem with other couriers.

Proactive problem resolution
Courier lost the delivery, but the issue was proactively solved by Ironmongery Direct, including a phone call to apologise and inform me of the replacement. Was also impressed with the packaging for my brass pipe, which arrived in perfect condition.
