I had an excellent experience with Independent Resourcing Consultancy. Maria was extremely professional, efficient, and knowledgeable, guiding me to secure the role I wanted. Throughout the process, she was always there to check in and support me. I couldn't recommend her highly enough. Furthermore, the team at IRC, including Costin and Andy, were also very supportive, making the entire process smooth and enjoyable. Their dedication and communication were top-notch. I am thrilled with the new opportunity they helped me secure. Highly recommended!

When you treat your own clients with care and diligence, you hope to be dealt with in the same manner by other professionals. Seldom have I found this to be the case with recruiters over the years, however, this time I have!

Overall, I am not very impressed with Independent Resourcing Consultancy and, in particular, Maria.

I initially saw a job posting in Dubai and immediately called Maria about the job role from the website. Despite Maria’s initial lack of enthusiasm on the initial call, once she had saw my CV, she was suddenly a lot more excited about the prospect of working with me and putting me forward for the job in Dubai.

My expectations were set very high after learning more about the job posting in Dubai - in particular the salary offering (which was advertised as a base salary range of c.£50K to c.£100K).

As time passed and I made my way through the various interview stages, the job offering progressively got worse and worse. Maria kept promising me a response from the Dubai company ‘within 24 hours’, which naturally meant ‘whenever I feel like’.

When Maria called me to inform me that I have been offered the job in Dubai, she would not stop talking how to budget whilst living in Dubai - even though I asked her to stop and get to the point of the call. Despite this, she was very insistent on telling me budgetary ideas for the next ten or so minutes. As someone who works in finance, is very condescending and a waste of more of my time.

Eventually, she told me that I was offered the job in Dubai for the same after-tax salary as what I have been offered in the UK (c.£50K).

Naturally, I decided not to go ahead with the Dubai job offer and stay in the UK and forego the cost and inconvenience of moving to a new country.

Least to say, the whole process wasted a lot of time and the stress of dealing with Maria for a disappointing conclusion was definitely not worth it.

I found Eamon at IRC to be both professional and personable and would recommend him to others looking for work in financial services.

Eamon is extremely supportive and responsive throughout the entire process. Genuinely, a breath of fresh air when it came to working with a recruiter and finding the next step in my career. I could not recommend Eamon highly enough - if you have the opportunity to work with him, you will be in very good hands.
