Defective products, unreasonable return policy, and delay tactics
I purchased two display panels from iProGadgets. Both arrived with the same hardware defect—a persistent vertical line that displays the wrong color under normal use. The issue was present from day one.
When I reported the problem, the seller refused to acknowledge the defect and instead asked me to repeatedly troubleshoot (update drivers, test on multiple devices, etc.). I complied in good faith, which stretched the resolution process over several weeks.
When I finally requested a return, the seller insisted the items be returned in "brand new, unused" packaging—which is impossible since I had to install and test them to identify the defect. They also asked me to declare a false customs value under $10, which is not acceptable for a warranty return.
After all this, the seller stopped offering practical solutions. I was left with two defective screens and no refund.
I would not recommend buying from this seller. Poor quality control, uncooperative customer service, and misleading return policies. Buy elsewhere.
