Great company to work with
Great company to work with, especially want to commend Daisja and the team. Keep up the good work guys, you’re great.
Very Trustworthy
I had a really positive experience with International Van Lines! I was super stressed out and nervous about this move. I have had horrible experiences in the past with moving companies & this move was big, I relocated from Chicago all the way to South Florida. My delivery was right on time, and my representative Rob was really helpful. Best part, I just finished unpacking and none of my belongings were damaged in any way! Appreciate International and their professionalism. Hopefully I never move again, but it i do Ill definitely be using them again!
Great move from Utah to Florida!
Great move from Utah to Florida!
I had a very good experience with International Van Lines moving from UT to FL. The pickup crew - Nazar, John, and Ziggy - did a great job. They were professional, careful with my belongings, and worked efficiently throughout the pickup.
The delivery also went smoothly. Moises, the driver, was professional, friendly, and made sure everything was delivered safely.
Overall, the whole process went well, and I’m very satisfied with the service. I would definitely recommend IVL to anyone planning a long-distance move.

I had a really great experience with…
I had a really great experience with International Van Lines when they moved me from NYC to Washington. From the beginning, the process was smooth, organized, and professional. One of the things I appreciated most was that the pricing was accurate and there were no unexpected surprises when it came time to move.
The movers were professional and handled my belongings with care. Everything arrived at my new home on time, which made the whole moving experience much less stressful. Moving such a long distance can be overwhelming, but International Van Lines made the process easy and straightforward.
I’m very happy with the service I received and would definitely recommend International Van Lines to anyone planning a long-distance move. Great experience overall and highly recommended

I had an outstanding experience using International Van Lines for my cross-state move. From the very first phone call, their team was professional, responsive, and clear about every step of the process. Moving can be stressful, especially when relocating to another state, but they made everything feel organized and manageable.
The crew arrived on time, handled my furniture and boxes with great care, and worked efficiently without rushing. They protected the floors, wrapped the furniture properly, and made sure everything was loaded securely. Communication throughout the move was excellent, and I always knew what to expect.
Delivery was handled just as professionally. Everything arrived in good condition, and the team was courteous and helpful during unloading and placement. I also appreciated that the pricing and paperwork were explained clearly, so there were no unpleasant surprises.
Overall, International Van Lines made a complicated cross-state move much easier than I expected. Their professionalism, communication, and attention to detail really stood out. I would absolutely recommend them to anyone planning a long-distance move and looking for a company that is dependable, organized, and genuinely focused on taking care of the customer from start to finish. The entire experience gave me confidence that I had chosen wisely.
Great experience
Great experience, professional, on time and overall a headache free experience!
I was in the moving industry for over…
I was in the moving industry for over 15 years and have extensive knowledge of the industry. I personally went with IVL because I know who they are and they genuinely care about their consumers. I am also a veteran and like supporting veteran owned companies that give back to the community. My move was pretty complex and required crating, auto shipping and transporting my household goods from NY to CA. They sent a 4 man team who showed up on time and did a great job. The move took about 6 hours and I was very impressed with how efferent they were.
I know what it takes to move and I was very happy I chose IVL. Thank you to Alex, Rick and Karen who were all involved in the process of my move. They were on top of everything and made sure that the timing was right and we had no damages. I would highly recommend them to anyone moving. If you call ask for Alex you will not be disappointed.

I hired IVL to move my belongings from NY to Bangladesh. The movers arrived on time and did a great job. I was nervous about moving, but IVL stayed on top of everything, so I have no complaints. I would be happy to recommend them and use them again if needed. Also, I would like to thank you jason and Nico, who were the people who oversaw the move. They both did a great job with organizing everything.

We chose IVL through a referral and were happy with the overall experience. Justin, my sales rep, was great. he spent a lot of time with my wife and I and I cant thank him enough. They communicated well and made sure we knew what was going on at all times. I have done a couple of moves in the past, and this was the best of them all. I would highly recommend International Van Lines.
Avoid International Van Lines at all…
Avoid International Van Lines at all costs.
They misrepresented themselves as a direct carrier, then secretly brokered my move to American Knights. My binding estimate was $7,344.51, yet halfway through loading they demanded an extra $1,000. At delivery, the driver refused to unload unless I paid $3,930 in cash, extorting $1,259 more than the agreed amount.
They also forced a fraudulent $1,258 shuttle fee, even though the driver admitted the truck was not consolidated with other customers. Every disputed charge had to be paid in cash under threat of withholding my goods.
The delivery crew was untrained, caused damage, mishandled my belongings, and left me with missing items. The driver refused to verify inventory and acted aggressively.
In total, I was overcharged $2,257.49 beyond my signed estimate.
Check Yelp my experience is not an isolated incident.
IVL failed in every way
International Van Lines (IVL) and its delivery agent, Fast Move Van Lines, provided consistently poor service characterized by delays, contradictory information, missed delivery commitments, billing discrepancies, and inadequate communication. IVL initially described our shipment as two deliveries, but it ultimately became three, with the third shipment still not having left California more than a month after pickup. Basic questions about delivery timing, the carrier, payment, and unloading went unanswered for days. We were repeatedly told that delivery was imminent, causing us to rearrange our schedules day after day. On one occasion, Fast Move told us the truck had left Chicago and would arrive that afternoon, while the driver later told us directly that the truck had only just finished loading. Delivery subsequently fell through multiple days in a row. By September 4, we had spent six consecutive days anticipating deliveries that repeatedly failed to occur. There were also serious billing and payment issues. IVL stated that $3,830.50 would be due at each of two deliveries, yet Fast Move later demanded $12,860. Payment instructions also changed at the last minute, including a demand for a postal money order shortly before the post office closed. Throughout the process, we were forced to repeatedly chase IVL, Fast Move, dispatchers, customer service representatives, and drivers ourselves to determine where our belongings were and when they might arrive. Promised callbacks and updates frequently did not occur, conflicting information was commonplace, and Leo from Fast Move ultimately hung up on me. Overall, IVL failed to provide reliable delivery information, effective oversight of its agent, consistent billing information, or timely resolution, leaving us to effectively manage the logistics of our own interstate move.
Do not use them
When are belonging where delivered many items where Damaged, even a table top was cracked and to caused from dropping it off the truck. Many boxes were smashed. delivery people where very rude and bad.
What ever you do not use them.
Awful service and stressful experience…
Awful service and stressful experience : unexpected pick up, delayed delivery and additional fees. More importantly many belongings arrived damaged and several pricey items were missing. The customer service did not care to search for the thieves and of course did not offer any compensation.
strongly recommend avoiding International Van Lines (IVL) for an international move
I moved from Germany to the U.S. with IVL, and it took about four months to receive my initial shipment. When it arrived, two boxes were missing. It was difficult to get timely responses when I followed up, and when IVL finally responded, they simply told me that because I didn’t purchase additional insurance, they would not do anything to locate the boxes or reimburse me.
There were also unexpected fees, including a $95 processing fee and $227 in customs fees. They also initially tried to charge me $400 for delivery, which they eventually waived after I repeatedly declined.
Overall, the long delivery time, missing belongings, poor communication, and lack of accountability made this an extremely frustrating experience. I would not use IVL again and recommend looking elsewhere for an international move.
Will not follow through on promises and will over charge
IVL promised delivery on July 19th (which is why they got my business), but furniture was delivered until July 27th. No communication was made about the delay, they also over charged me on pick-up and did not return my call or emails about the over charge. The were very quick to want to charge an additional deposit when I added 2 chairs to the initial estimate. Originally I was going to have them pack the kitchen and other miscellaneous items, but I ended up packing the kitchen and most artwork. I only had them pack pillows and several pieces of artwork. I was still charged for packing and supplies. I have called and emailed numerous times and the overpayment has not been resolved nor has my claim for missing bed frame pieces resolved.
Beware
I have to tell you I really thought I had done my due diligence. Boy was I wrong. It began ok, I spoke with Justin who assured me "the buck stops here". Well to begin I was told they would arrive on 6/25/26 between 2-4pm well I got a call at about 7ish stating they would arrive about 9pm and take 3-4 hrs to load my belongings. I told them no to come first thing on the 26th. So then I was told per contract my belongings would arrive between 7/2/26 and 7/30/26 again they were wrong the did not arrive until 8/3/26 at which time as the movers unpacked my furniture. The bedrail was broken. The dining room table was broken and a coffee buffet/cart was also broken. Missing was a ladder and a box containing several LP records. All communications stopped on 7/27/26 when I asked why my belongings were being delayed. Customer service and others have not responded to emails or phone calls.. I have filled out all of the required paperwork to file a compliant, but to be honest at this point, I am just expecting it all to be denied. I have filed a complaint with the Attorney General's office and the Better Business Bureau.
IVL Horrible Service
International Van Lines is by far the worst company I have ever come in contact with. I spent hours researching moving companies and had several calls with different companies. The sales person who I initially dealt with couldn't have been more helpful and attentive. Little did I know that all of the "yes's", "no problem", and "we are flexible" were all just lip service to get the sale. Not one thing that was promised and explained to me came to fruition. Once I signed the contract and made the deposit it was as if I didn't exist.
Multiple email follows ups with no response. I had simple questions regarding my move with no communication from IVL a week prior to moving. I got a voicemail the day of my move at 7am that "the truck broke down and they would have to come tomorrow." Well, you can imagine with a long haul move and needing to be out of our home for the new tenants thus casual message sent everything into a tailspin. I called the dispatcher to ask what happened and they told me "it's Monday and it's July, we are busy and don't have a team or truck." Well, why commit to that date? They also make you commit to a backup date and sell it as a date if there is bad weather. Not because they actually aren't staffed to move on the requested day.
I was so frustrated I emailed Josh the CEO. I assumed that with their Forbes rating and being the "best" he could connect me with someone who could help. Wishful thinking. My email got passed to a women named Daisja who told me "Josh is traveling internationally and can't respond." I travel internationally regularly and am able to respond to business emails. Regardless, Daisja gave me a form response essentially removing any responsibility from IVL and not acknowledging the horrible follow up and service until I highlighted it for a second time. She then promised to make my experience better and to leave her on copy on all emails going forward.
The movers finally showed up and packed and loaded the truck. I was told by the mover that I would be contacted on where my things were. That was on 7/28. I heard nothing from anyone even though I sent two emails to Daisja. I finally called on 8/3 to see where my things were and to confirm the delivery date of 8/6. The associate said that no one intended to call me with an update.
I was told the driver "would call me when he was close". Again, it was sold to me that there was as no issue delivering on my scheduled day and in fact if they were early or we wanted to have it delivered later they would store my things . Not true. I got a text at 6pm on 8/11 from the driver that I am delivering your things tomorrow at 8am. No flexibility. After paying $10k total for a for this move I could have done a better job myself. I sent another email to Daisja with Josh on copy and got a dismissive response telling me she worked in compliance and my customer service person was my contact (that person is also on copy on all emails and doesn’t respond) and by the way I now have a new customer service person I should contact. I am on my fifth one at this point two of which have never actually responded to an email.
My goods were delivered with some items damaged and no labels on any of the boxes packed by IVL.
IVL doesn't care about service or their customers. Once you're locked in that's the end of the story. Hopefully this review saves other people from wasting time and money with these scammers.
Customer Service is Nothing
Customer Service is Nothing
No one can ever provide you with an update. No one follows up when they say they will. Information on your possessions is a vacuum. They provide zero comfort that your absent goods are in good hands. Nerve-wracking nightmare waiting.
Beware of this company
Beware of this company. They have had our belongings for two weeks they won't answer the phone only voice mail. We left multiple messages no response. We are stuck in a empty with nothing for two weeks now with no idea when or if our belongings will arrive.
