We stayed from July 19-23

We stayed from July 19-23, 2025. Right from the moment we arrived we had problems: we couldn't get into the house, we couldn't open the gate, absolutely no one answered the contact numbers, not even the emergency ones. We had no internet, iron, hair dryer, hand soap. Although we explained to them countless times that we needed internet because we were working remotely during that period, they lied to us day after day that the internet guys would come to fix it, since the router/modem needs to be replaced and that the order is on its way. I'm sorry that I couldn't give a review on Airbnb because I exceeded the 14-day period, but I noticed that 2 other people complained about exactly the same problems and were lied to like us: they didn't order any router/modem because that wasn't the problem! The internet didn't work, period! Moreover, they did not answer the contact phone numbers at all and we had to call the head office in Switzerland, useless because they did not solve anything at all, and I ended up with an additional telephone cost of 50 euros that they did not want to cover (being from outside the EU/EEA). Extremely poor communication, they do not care about the needs of the customers at all and they respond very slowly in writing, invoking that they have a lot of properties and are busy. I hope this review helps other people in the future not to suffer the same thing. They gave us a 40 euro refund for the lack of internet for 5 days, although we are talking about a service listed on the property and for some people it is very important. The hairdryer was also listed, but there was no sign of it (we had to buuy one). I do not recommend this property at all, regardless of the good price. I read a comment on Airbnb that someone slept in the car because they could not get in and they did not answer the phone. I find this unreal. I attached print screen with the conversation. Good luck with that!

Bad practices of INTERHOMEl in cooperation with Casamundo continued


I am writing as one of the participants in the unfortunate booking described by @Marek S.
It's all true. Without going into the whole situation and to cut a long story short, Interhome, which was commissioned by Casamundo, does not feel responsible, just like Casamundo.pl and, in our opinion, the fault lies with them and in the communication between these two portals, which we will prove through appropriate further action. On our side, there is frustration and enormous anger due to the unfairly charged fee and the way it was charged to us (payment only in cash, within an hour, or we would be removed from here by the relevant authorities, without a refund of the deposit). Neither party feels responsible and does not even offer any proposal to resolve the dispute. UNACCEPTABLE BEHAVIOUR!

Interhome unfair practices in cooperation with Casamundo

When making a reservation for three families with children (6 adults, 6 children) through Casamundo.pl, we entered the ages of the participants, specifying the exact ages of the children, which were verified by the property owner upon arrival at the holiday destination on the basis of identity documents, and there were no objections. Two days before the end of our stay, it turned out that Casamundo.pl had transferred our booking to Interhome (Interhome HHD AG) from the outset, where Interhome expected us to pay an additional fee of nearly €1,000 for what they considered to be the incorrect age of the children. The age of the children was provided when booking on Casamundo.pl and verified by the property owner upon arrival. The entire stay was paid for in advance and there were not supposed to be any additional charges. However, Interhome expected us to pay an additional fee of nearly €1,000 two days before the end of the holiday because their system showed 6 adults and 6 infants, and only now did they realise this. According to Interhome itself, the Casamundo.pl portal does not distinguish between the age of a child/ infant, so despite the inefficiency of the system and the fault of Casamundo.pl and Interhome, we were charged an unjustified fee, which none of the sellers are willing to compensate us for. In addition, the way in which this payment was FORCED on us was unacceptable: firstly, the additional payment was to be made in cash to the property owner, and secondly, the owner gave us an ultimatum: either we pay within an hour or we leave without a refund of the deposit, otherwise 40 police cars would arrive... Of course, we quickly withdrew money from an ATM and paid, mainly to spare the children stress and unpleasant memories of their holiday. We consider such behaviour on the part of Casamundo.pl and Interhome to be unacceptable and in violation of consumer rights throughout Europe, which is why I am warning you about the bad practices of these two websites that have affected me and my friends. As I continue to fight the refusals from Casamundo.pl and Interhome, I urge you to be cautious.

DON'T RENT WITH INTERHOME!
I rented a house in Croatia through Interhome Austria. The main criteria was that it had to be less than 400 m to the beach, as we were travelling with two disabeld persons. When we arrived to the apartment late afternoon, we couldn't find the path to the beach. We called the 24/7 service, who called the landlord. He came to show us how to get there, it was further than 400 m and it was up and down a steep hill and not on a path. If we had to follow a path it was 1.6 km. When I complained the landlord was rude and kicked us out of the house, and the 24/7 service center was no help at all!
We had to find another place to stay late Saturday night. Afterwards I have filed a complaint, I have sent photos from google maps of the distance and of the hill they wanted us to walk down, and then I have waited for weeks! Now I have received an answer from Sweden.. that the local office will not accept my claim, because the landlord has not had complaints before….
