UK Insta360 Return Experience — Asked to Ship Product to Hong Kong at My Own Expense (£35+) for Refund
Purchased directly from Insta360’s official UK-facing store and was very disappointed with the return experience.
The product itself was undamaged and only briefly tested indoors, but I was not satisfied with the performance and decided to return it within the return window.
The major issue started when Insta360 asked me to return the product internationally to Hong Kong at my own expense, even though the order was placed through their UK-targeted website and delivered within the UK.
The return shipping cost quoted was over £35, which feels unreasonable for a standard consumer return. After multiple emails, they finally offered to cover only half the cost.
I appreciate that support remained polite throughout the conversation, but the overall process feels unnecessarily difficult for UK customers and creates a strong disincentive to return products.
Before buying directly from Insta360, UK customers should carefully read the return policy and understand that returns may involve international shipping costs to Hong Kong.
I hope Insta360 improves its UK return handling process in the future.

3 Months Without My Camera – Insta360 Refuses Responsibility
honestly did not expect such poor customer support from Insta360.

I sent my camera for repair on February 14 using the UPS shipping label provided directly by Insta360. Since then, more than 3 months have passed and I still have neither my camera nor a replacement.
At first, I stayed patient and cooperative. I understood that shipping issues can happen. However, instead of resolving the situation, support kept delaying the process and eventually told me that UPS rejected their claim, so they could not offer me a replacement or refund.
What is especially frustrating is that the shipment was sent using THEIR prepaid UPS label, meaning the shipping process was fully controlled by them. Despite this, I was repeatedly asked to contact UPS myself and even provide things like packaging photos or drop-off proof months later.
I have been respectful and patient throughout the entire process, but the way this situation has been handled is extremely disappointing and unprofessional.
As someone with an audience online, I usually enjoy sharing good experiences with products and brands. Unfortunately, this experience has been the complete opposite.
I sincerely hope Insta360 finally takes responsibility and resolves this situation properlу

The magnetic mount is the whole reason I got it. Slap it on, pull it off, no fiddling with clips. Saves me real time on busy mornings when I'm already late.

Running a travel channel and this form factor is genuinely unbeatable for what I'm doing. Nobody looks twice because nobody notices it. That was the vive I couldn't get with a bigger camera, and it kept changing how people behaved around me when I was shooting. Image quality is way better than I had any right to expect from something this small. Been using the Magnetic Pendant most days.

App acted up on me once stopped connecting after a firmware push. Sent support a message and got a response in under 24 hours with a workaround that actually fixed it. Not always the case with tech companies these days, so that was a nice change of pace.

Started with the insta 360 flow 2 mainly because I wanted to be able to video my twins in their sports and because it had a ai tracker and a hoop mode. Turns out the hoop mode doesnt work well in a school gym game setting, too much interference with spectators. But that's only 1 bad thing, other than that I love it. Then I got the ace pro 2, this little camera has amazing quality.
