I couldn't fault my experience with Insight Recruitment. The process was less than a week from our initial meeting with James to employing a candidate. James filtered out unsuitable candidates and found us two great options to interview. The whole process was simple and seamless. Insight were extremely responsive, and we would definitely use them again in the future.

Terrible, called me about a job spoke to consultant N****e, then spoke to another guy, now have been ignored, no update nothing deadly silence, emailed original consultant No response, called line cuts off, don’t apply you won’t be disappointed, it was probably a fake job! They didn’t have it in the first place.

Always polite when talking. Offer a wide variety of jobs, and make sure to constantly keep you up to date with any important changes or notifications.

I was headhunted. There was some back and forth; requests for phone calls, rescheduling, then requests for further information, then me being asked unrelated questions to the initial proposed opportunity and which directly contradicted what the original opportunity was (and the specific reasons for my interest in it).

Having responded to the questions, they still implied they would schedule a call and then asked for a document. I shared that document and at the same time enquired when we would have a chat. I was ignored on that point and then I was asked another question. So I let them know my thoughts and their response was 'got it' and another confirmation they would get back to me. That didn't happen.

To this day, I have no idea why they were initially so interested and gradually lost interest over time. Regardless, the communication level was poor and they were less forthcoming as time went on.

I wouldn't want others to waste time back-and-forthing with a company and sharing their thoughts and personal information only to be ghosted. It's one thing to send a speculative application to a publicly advertised job offer which you don't hear back on, but it's another thing to be headhunted and then abandoned part-way through the process. Do better.

Eve Harrison and the rest of the team assisted with my upcoming move and I was very impressed with their service. They arranged interviews at firms that matched up with my ambitions and were efficient and helpful throughout.

I could not recommend Insight highly enough and, in particular, my experience with James. James consistently listened to my aims and goals to ensure that any roles were actually appropriate as opposed to a fire fight of irrelevant roles that other agencies appear to engage in.
