Had a truly terrifying experience staying at this hotel - due to a fault with their IT and telephone systems (as they have since confirmed), anonymous withheld calls were able to be made direct to the room from outside the network in the middle of the night, in attempt to obtain personal details of guests staying at the hotel. As a female travelling alone, it was a truly scary experience and despite security action on the evening, the service I have received from this group since has been appalling!
I have stayed here a number of times and would like to give a fair reflection on the rooms and location, however due to safety and data concerns, will not be staying again!
Complaint is ongoing as they have consistently missed their own response timelines - please do a better job of looking after your guest London Town Group!
Arrived late Friday evening and we were greated by Mr Shah and might we say what a credit he is to the hotel and his team! Exceptional service to say the least.
Having checked we had membership through the hotel he offered us a room upgrade which was most welcome and a pleasant surprise!
We were initially eyeing up the bigger rooms prior to booking a few weeks before hand, but wanted to save the pennies.
Overall, very pleased with our 2nd stay which made our mini weekend visit that much more enjoyable! Highly recommend this hotel. ☺️✌🏼
Despite a confirmed reservation for an accessible room (I am a wheelchair user), the hotel gave their ONLY accessible room to someone else leaving me in a very difficult position with no toilet facilities whatsoever (I had to go out in the freezing cold to Paddington station to find a toilet!!) and in an extremely uncomfortable room and spoiled our complete visit to London. When they eventually got us a semi accessible room the next day it was well below national and international standards for a disable room. I found the hotel misrepresented their facilities and was very unprofessional in its communications and in dealing with us. We are very unhappy with the hotel, the experience was awful and we will never use an IHG hotel again. We found serious issues of health and safety, discrimination, lack of professionalism, incompetence and dishonesty regarding our stay there. Stay away from the place. Dreadful!

I have now received an apology from the hotel and a full refund for our stay. The hotel say they plan to change the accessible room and add disabled toilet facilities.
Booked and fully paid $803. for my stay Oct31-Nov3 through Bookings.com. Arrived at hotel and reception had reservation however no payment was evident. We paid again. We had paid for room with city view. Tiny Room was 10' x 12' facing inside with view of garbage on roof. Next day we provided proof of payment and after thier research hotel provided credit. They were sorry about city view. Breakfast required each day a payment chit, provided after queuing up, breakfast was fair at best. Not sure why all the communication issues but between Hotels.com and Indigo Paddington Hotel I would not recommend this hotel. Also as we booked this through Hotels.com the IHG group does not credit any points.
i found this hotel litlle delayed with room service and general commnunication, it is a very lovely location where it is situated, I and my daughter went to visit london for a week. I just found communicating with the staff very slow and non responsive.
Room fine but v small. Service appalling. No-one at the front desk at 5pm or at 11pm. A phone number on a piece of paper tacked to the window to call to allow entry at 11pm which wasn’t answered. 20 minutes later got in through an adjacent hotel and was told “it’s fine”.
What a great place, stayed here after a long drive south from Scotland and it was great, got lots of sleep even though the streets were busier and louder than I expected they would be with lockdown.
Chester hotel indigo! very nice! just when i was ordering, didnt say it was mushroom soup, i was kinda disappointed that they didnt say what it included, because mushrooms are my NIGHTMARE! lol, but the main was great and the hot chocolate is so good! very nice staff and service, would love to go there again, also bummed about the TV could only watch a few channels. but still, very comfy beds! i could put on music bc there are speakers in the bathroom connected to the TV, So i can put on music and listen to it in the bathroom, very nice and warm shower very good presentation! i only rated it a 4, but if i go there again ill probally rate it a 5!
Lovely staff, great hospitality, nice rooms, excellent location.
