This platform has gone down badly they take our personal information and post these scamming jobs that we never hear from. I dont even know why the site is still up there are no real jobs on there anymore so what is 5he point.

I spent 3 months looking for a job before finding the ideal post and applying online. 2 weeks later I had an email from Indeed stating that there had been an error in submitting my application. By this time the closing date had expired for the job. Really poor!!!

Very frustrating platform. Just had an email to say there was a technical issue delivering my application, so I missed out on the chance of a job as the position had then been filled.
Despite knowing my work and location preferences, I’m repeatedly sent roles that are nothing to do with my skillset or are hundreds of miles away!
Addition after the response:
My application wasn’t delivered at all, so I missed out on being considered for the role. They hadn’t received anything from me.

Sick and bloody tired of indeed, i put on their site HGV drivers 10 mile radius of swindon, what do i get, vitually everywhere except swindon, so then i put van driving non multi drop, again it comes up with loads of van driving work, MULTI DROP, what part of Non multi drop do they not get, such a useless site and a waste of time

I am TIRED of the website switching the language and no possibility to fix it. - This is BASIC stuff! I can be anywhere -doesn't mean I want to have it in local language nor that I understand it nor that I want to apply for local jobs.

There should be options for when an employer ghosts an applicant or doesn't reply at all so others can see the lack of HR

Indeed has made a change to their website that users cannot do a simple search without having to provide too much personal information.
Just to do a simple search like you can do on Monster.com or Glassdoor.com without entering any personal data, Indeed has chosen to make users enter an email then wait for a six digit code they will send to that email address then they want your phone number.
In this era where spam calls and email are still occurring regularly, I am not giving my information out unnecessarily especially when I don't know what they are doing with the information.
I understand needing this information if I am uploading a resume to their website or applying for a job through their site. BUT NOT FOR DOING A SIMPLE JOB SEARCH.
If you need more information or wish to response please do so to this website or to my e-mail, I DO NOT have a Whatapp account so do not ask me to respond to you via that option.

I resent being hounded for my personal details to enable me to just to read reviews! You can jog on.
From the reply below its conditional and data collecting. You have started spamming me already right after this review. No thanks I can research in other ways. I don't like your ethics and will certainly never use you again

Indeed - never had any good from this. Glassdoor - the reviews process is far from perfect and anyone with a grudge can write terrible lies and get away with it - nothing is done. Then in order to have an account for Glassdoor you HAVE to sign up to Indeed and HAVE to give your phone number - mine is now deleted. Terrible company
Indeed used to be a pretty good job site. 5 years ago they were run well. Today, each day they implement more and more aggressive robotics and the other day those robots changed the preferences and exposed my personal and confidential information contained in my CV to the entire internet causing a avalanche of spam. Those personal details can never be retrieved. After that their robotics then suddenly stole all the data from my uploaded PDF resume and inserted those details into their own very ugly CV formatting system (also without my consent) and reformatted my entire resume. It was impossible to delete their version and the robotics blocked my applications to firms unless I used it. I will be deleting my account. Sadly, robots have taken control of Indeed and they are no longer a trustworthy platform.

Interview booked, arrived for interview, to be told there were no interviews and Indeed knew this.
Thank you Indeed for the absolute shocking experience!
I will not be using you again.

Indeed.com has consistently gotten worse over the years. Pages and pages full of the same exact jobs to make it appear like they actually have job listings and now they've added a "review details" section when applying to jobs that takes up even more time. Use anything else but Indeed at this point

This company is fraud, They assure free posting but when you post a job they flag your posting and force you to sponsor job even.

I’ve been using their platform to advertise for my small business for 12 years. Over the course of the last two years, their billing has become deliberately not transparent and confusing. My last ad ran for two days cost for $38 and didn’t have a single hit or impression. The one before that cost me way more and 98% had no qualifications for the job whatsoever. Warehouse stalkers and forklift drivers as opposed to Spa receptionists. Both times when you write to complain, you get a very standard exactly phrased. Oh this was your fault because you didn’t write the ad right but we’re gonna be really kind to you and give you a credit this time only for your next ad. It’s only now that I’m starting to see these horrendous reviews on trust pilot. They clearly don’t care about small businesses anymore, but still want to take what they can.

They sometimes are good, but I’ve recently moved areas and I’ve changed it on the app and I keep getting emails about jobs from where I used to live and it’s so annoying. I’ve also put what my skills are on the app and it keeps sending me jobs that aren’t for my skills, like doctor jobs or dentists and I don’t have any of them skills?

They are shielding bad companies from negative reviews.
Just like Glassdoor, Indeed engages in censorship.
Companies need to keep their Glassdoor or Indeed reviews positive to look good on paper without fixing real problems.
Toxic leadership, bad working conditions, bullying and racism gets a pass on such platforms.
They are trying to make companies' reviews shine and when you fall into the trap of a toxic employer, the damage had already been done.
Glassdoor and Indeed are no longer reliable. Use them for sending Resumes if you like but that's about it.

While using indeed I have had my information stolen from fake job adverts and also noticed they allow fake advertisements from the likes of Staffpower Group and Optimum Skills!.
These companies advertise fake jobs to lure people onto their government funded courses while also having a constant rotation of free workers/slaves!
Indeed have been informed about this many times over the years and still allow the fake adverts to be posted because they get paid for posting adverts.
You can apply for 300 jobs and not hear back from 1 which is also a bit suspicious.
Job adverts which have expired still show up in searches.
Select you want to see jobs where a driving license is not needed and results show you jobs where a driving license is needed ect
REPLYING TO INDEEDS RESPONSE.... I have contacted indeed multiple times to inform yous about these companies and yous do nothing about it!. Look at Staffpowers job adverts and please tell me where in any of their job adverts do they mention training courses before any chance of an interview???? They advertise for full time jobs not government funded training courses!!! Yous allow false advertising because yous dont care and just want the money!

Sub par, never found a job or even an interview via indeed. It just churns out jobs that either seemingly don’t exist or don’t go anywhere. Waste of time.

Advertised for a Sales person after talking to Indeed about poor response and inexperienced applicants. Took Indeeds advice to change the advert and add in more filters. Still didnt get any candidates with any experience and all Indeed could say is we cant stop them bypassing the filters and I still have to pay for that. Absolute waste of Money and Indeed were no help

Postings are undated. I know there's a way to inspect the source and figure it out, but that's such a hassle. The postings are just often so old. Trying to help a teenager find a job is usually going to be at a quick turnover kind of place, postings over 30 days old are useless and irrelevant.
