So disappointed! Use Imaginations if you want a marquee with no lighting, false promises and then to top it off be threatened with police, simply because you drop your kids off at school and weren't home when they came to collect the Marquee! At first communication was good, then full payment was made and the marquee arrived, we paid for a premium package and the lighting didn’t work, we had mouldy chairs and were promised new ones would arrive in time for our wedding as well as a technician coming to fix our lights, but then no one ever answered the phone, emails were ignored and the service was simply shocking! We then went on monday morning to take our kids to school and they arrived to pick up the marquee but we didn’t receive any phone call to know a time. We then get told we are getting charged for an extra day and then Mark screamed down the phone at my 84 yr old father that the police are getting called for us stealing their marquee!!!! Just because we took our children to school and weren't home for 30 minutes!!! I would strongly advise, pay a little more and go with a company that actually values their customers and provide a good service! Utterly disgusted at how we were treated! I would seriously think twice before using this company! And just take time to read the other 1 star reviews! I wish I had done that!!

I hired the party package on Saturday for my sons 21st bday. I was over the moon with the marquee. everybody had a great night and I cannot fault it in anyway! stress free booking and installing guys were fantastic. beer fridge was lovely and cold dance floor and disco lights really made it! highly recommend!! I will defo be using again

All my queries were dealt with promptly and kindly , and I was given enough information and assistance to book the best suited marquee for my daughter’s birthday !
The marquee itself was fit for purpose and in great condition.
I would highly recommend their services to anyone looking for a stress free marquee hire company and lovely event !

I have used Imaginations Marquee hire for the past 4 years for both personal hire (50th birthday & Christmas) and business hire (a Christmas party and 2 x Summer parties) hosting 100 people. On all occasions the installation team are highly professional, attentive and ensure that you, the customer, are happy before they leave. Equally when they collect to dismantle they leave the area as they found it.

I would highly recommend this company and will continue to use them moving forward. Surely I deserve a reward card? haha

My Aussie family were sceptical about having Christmas Day in their words 'a tent' but were super impressed with the décor and just how warm it was inside - Considering it was 2 degrees and windy outside! Christmas/Boxing Day was a huge success!

Very disappointing experience.
We hired this marquee company for an event and were shocked to be fined for chairs getting wet — something completely outside of our control. The weather turned bad, and instead of showing any understanding or professionalism, the company chose to penalise us financially.

There was no reasonable flexibility, no attempt to work with us, and no acknowledgement that outdoor events come with weather risks. This felt unfair, petty, and purely money-driven. Customer service was extremely poor, and the situation left a bad taste after what should have been a positive event.

I would not recommend this company to anyone looking for a fair or customer-focused service. Be very careful, as you may end up paying extra fees for circumstances you cannot control.

I used Imaginations Marquee Hire last weekend, 8 Nov 25 for my 50 birthday celebrations. The team who attended on the day for set up were fantastic, arrived on time, polite and helpful. I would def use Imaginations Marquee Hire again and highly recommend them. Maria

I hired my marquee around a year before for my wedding, due to them not charging more for weddings which is amazing.

I read the reviews before and not going to lie became quite nervous, on the lead up everything was fine communication was great with adding on extras etc.

Day of delivery was a bit chaotic, bits were forgotten and there was about a 3hr time period were they couldn't do anything while awaiting the parts from the warehouse.

Once the parts arrived it went up fine, when they were leaving I had a look and realised I didn't have the roof and side linings I had paid for and requested or the dance floor or table clothes.

The roof and sides couldn't be corrected due to the marquee I had already, I spoke to mark and told him about this he said he was very sorry and would speak to the boss about a refund as I hadn't go what I paid for, which I was happy to hear as they had offered and I didn't need to ask for it, how ever I have sent 2 follow up emails about this and not heard back.

In regards to the missing table cloths and dance floor, I was promised 2 times it would arrive the next day and didn't, which might not seem like a big deal but it put me really behind on my decorations for the wedding as they then didn't arrive until the next day which was the day before the wedding, which in tern meant I was very late sorting everything out.

In short the marquee was great but not what I paid for, I was messed around a fair bit which was quite stressful and now I'm chasing up being refunded for what I didn't receive I'm getting no communication.

The guys who put up the marquee and took it down were lovely and the people in the office who called me and mark who I spoke to a few times was also very nice but now I'm kinda left with a sour taste due to no further contact about my refund and feeling like I'm being messed around.

Mark now has been in contact with me, the reason for all issues was a fire next door and that they couldn't deliver what I ordered due to this, I was not aware about this on delivery of the marquee only when I raised issues when it was set up about the roof, sidelines, dance floor and table clothes was I informed.

The marquee was stunning and communication with the staff was amazing from start to finish we booked the nightclub/party marquee again as we booked it in august. I highly recommend using imaginations, communication and emails from staff and team members are amazing!

This is the 2nd time I have hired from Imaginations Marquee. Really pleased. Both times went smoothly. An the the guys who put them up are really hardworking and friendly. Their Package prices are really good value and you wont find cheaper anywhere else.

I work for a London council and we needed a marquee for an event we had as the weather forecast was not on our side! I didn't have much hope in managing to find one 2 days before the event, but called Imaginations anyway after they came up on a google search.

Mark at the Hertfordshire office was great. He was so helpful with knowing what we might need for such an event, and was really reassuring that they may be able to help at such short notice.

They had exactly what we needed and went above and beyond to help us out. It ended up being the day before the event that we confirmed the booking, which I consider to be a miracle! We paid extra for delivery first thing which was delayed due to the traffic, but the team arrived just in time for the start of the event.

The marquee literally saved the day - because we had it in place, we were able to use other smaller gazebos where they were needed (to cover food service and other providers) to provide shelter from the rain. We also had the rubber backed carpet which gave it a nice cosy feel inside and was well worth the extra cost.

Collection when the event ended went well, the team did have to wait for people to leave but once this had happened they took the marquee down in no time.

We will be using Imaginations going forward for our marquee hire, as a marquee is ideal as shelter for wet weather and as shade for sunny days and the company is reliable and excellent value for money.

Highly recommended, I am a first time hirer of a marquee, Imaginations exceeded all my expectations, were professional and kept me up to date in all aspects of the hire. The installation was stress free, the quality of the marquee was excellent, and the staff polite and knowledgeable. I would certainly use them again, and would not hesitate to recommend this company.

The initial stage of giving the measurement and making sure the marquee would fit in the garden was a bit of going back and forth over the email, they wouldn’t speak over the phone, I don’t think the ladies who do the booking know what they are doing, I was told the marquee would sit above our drain pipes so that the marquee would be against our back wall so we can go in and out without a problem, which was not the case I even sent the photos just to make sure. when the fitters came to fit they said it’s not possible as the marquee hight is not enough to go over the drain pipes and we should have been told this when we booked.
Apart from that we were happy with the marquee, decorations, lights, chairs, tables and the heating. The fitters were professional and friendly. I would recommend this company but would definitely recommend you double check everything with them.

Imaginations Marquee Hire were Amazing. We hired an 8m x 4m PVC marquee - Party Package - for my daughters’ 16th Birthday party and were so pleased with this as well as the hire process and the installation and collection.
The video meeting was a great touch and made it very easy to arrange. we were worried as we have an Astro Turf Garden, but it all went very smoothly and the installation team were extremely professional and quick.
The Marquee itself was brilliant, very good quality and in very good condition..... Great lights and draping and heating was a must in January.
We will definitely be using them again and would recommend them to our friends and family in the future.

was more than happy with this company. booked a nightclub package for my son's 18th birthday party with friends and family. everyone loved the marquee and had a lovely time. did have a problem with the heater Saturday afternoon but they sent a guy out to us and he sorted it before the party started. Would highly recommend Imaginations. Richard
