Not very professional. Not a good mentor
Not readily available by phone call. Always requires you to leave a message or email to get back to you. The voicemail instructions to leave a message also wasn't very professional.
I paid $180 for two 30 minute block sessions to get tips from Kris Anderson to improve my images for an award entry to a competition. In those sessions he advised me that I shouldnt be too serious about winning in competitions it will not make you a good photographer. I was disappointed at this advice apart from the fact that tips I heard from him were basic information I already knew. I was expecting him to assist dramatically improve my images for the competition not just give verbal tips. Advice I received wasnt very professional and i could see he wasnt genuinely interested in helping improve my photography in a very big way to win the competition-- the reason for the paid sessions. The information passed on to me was limiting in scope and I felt he was more concerned about me booking additional sessions so he could earn more money from me gaining his advice.
