I am making this review to counter the false claims by myriads of men that this a scam site and that all the profiles are fake.
I previously used this site 6 years ago and communicated with real women and met two. One of those I met in a hotel. I would have met more had my wife at that time not kept me on a lead.
Now divorced! A few days ago I signed up to the £60 deal (5 days) and am currently in touch with 3 women which look promising.
However - some qualifications to my recommendation. There are relatively few women using this service and the bulk of profiles are inactive. You will probably never find more than a dozen maximum online who live within 50 miles of you. The majority of messages you send will never be read. I sent 20 messages on my first two days and got back 6 replies. 12 messages still unread.
I thought I struck gold on the first day and had a car date arranged but she cancelled the next day. It happens.
But I have one special lady I am communicating with off the site and think it will go somewhere.
You will not get any women first contact messages unless you are super good looking. The only messages I get on this basis are from scammers. The messages you get prior to signing up will be from scammers. I think IE do nothing about this as they realise many men will sign up because they think there is interest.
OK - that is not good - but there are enough genuine profiles out there to make it worthwhile.
I am above average looks - tall, slim with dark hair and 60 years old. I suspect those men on here saying they never get any replies or interest so it's a scam are basically just not attractive to any women. To those men I would suggest an escort service. Sorry guys.
I would recommend you just go for the £60 deal as you can soon approach all of the local women in that time and get responses. There is no need for the 6 week deal at £140. Then maybe try the £60 deal again in 2 months. I had no issue contacting IE and cancelling auto-renew.
Expect to put in a lot of time and effort but I do believe it will be worth it.

COMPLETE SCAM AND WASTE OF YOUR MONEY! I tried and sent almost 50 messages to not a single reply ! There are bots Installed on profiles which will send you virtual kiss and try to attract you to stay online dreaming of finding your true love LOL. Wasted my money.

The majority of the female profiles seem to be written by one person. This person will respond to some messages, string you along for a few exchanges, then for no apparent reason, suddenly you’re not their type. Even when you’re exactly what they say they want.
I’ve even sent photos of handsome guys (not me) as a test. They’re all not their type (which is a recurring expression) either.
It’s mostly written by one person, quite possibly a bloke, and designed to take your money.
Avoid.

This site is just so frustrating. The basic idea is good as there is obviously a market for this, but not charging women inevitably leads to many fake profiles, scammers and time wasters.
The site is extremely expensive for guys and most genuine women seem to be looking for younger men. If your over 55, forget it!

I can only parrot the 48% of reviewers that gave this awful site a bad review. "Do NOT waste your money!"
Yes, it is possible to meet a very few genuine women here but the site's operation is phoney and more than just mildly dishonest. The site itself is antediluvian and clunky; it's a shame, because obviously there is a market here. But because women are not charged, there seems to exist a high proportion of scammers and time-wasters, with men as the target (this is particularly true of the 55+ age bracket). IE could improve their act immeasurably by taking the simple step of imposing a small fee for women as well as men; this could be, perhaps, half that of their male counterparts. The problem for them is that then the ratio of women to men members would then drop dramatically. Currently it's purportedly around 300 (women) to 400 (men).
In reality it appears to be more like 50 to 400. And if you're male and over 55, forget it, because the ratio of women to men then drops far, far lower. And at that age, it would seem, you really are targeted by the unscrupulous.
I'm sure IE's response to this review will be a bland and disingenuous denial, which is their prerogative, of course.
Honestly? You'd be better off joining a local book club. Cheaper, more fun and with better odds of finding someone to have an extramarital fling with.

There are some genuine ladies on this website and I managed to meet some of them with a little degree of success......... BUT!!

The number of fake profiles trying to lure you into signing in is very off-putting. The administrator is, for obvious reasons, not whiling to change that and this says a lot about the people running this website.

The website itself is very basic and they don't have a phone app. And "For God Sake !" it doesn't even have a chat room....What a joke!

Another thing, there is an ridiculously big number of inactive profiles that the administrator doesn't even bother to delete.

Finally, it is so frustrating to see that this website could work much better for the benefit of the users (both men and women), but the administrator just don't care.

DO NOT GIVE THIS SITE YOUR MONEY.
As others note, this site is exploitative and dishonest. The typical scenario is one of the many (obvious) fake profiles generated and run by the sites administrators will message you to try to lure you in to buying a subscription. These subscriptions are then sneakily auto-renewed (“oh but we clearly state it in our terms and conditions”) and then you’re stuck for another month.
The numbers on the site are minuscule and despite what people say, the chances of finding someone real and in your area are slim.
Don’t waste your money here.

An obvious scam. Put a search in for my home county and became clear respondents didn't know the county they lived in! I responded to dozens of likely fits and not a single response, not even a sorry but no. Only response I did get appears AI generated. Don't touch with proverbial bargepole.

I found a lover ! After investing some time myself in a decent prpfile and reviewing some profiles, its clear who is serious on this site. This really helped me find my lover. Thank you IE

Profiles are totally unrealistic

The site is a scam. Please stay away as most ladies' profiles up to 90% are fake with someone's hand, legs and other body parts being displayed. Today this is very easy to manipulate and pose as lady profiles using AI bots. It's a good business ripping off lewd men. I paid some price when I was young not anymore. If you want illicit then it's still best hunt outside not online.

You have paying registered members - married man as the site is free to women . have up to 6 to 10 lovers weekly/monthly partners , they go on a sex rampage as to how many people they can sleep with .Worst are those who work from home or work a few days a week between their office and at home or retired sofa sxx scammers.

I came across one married man who had slept with 9 women in 1 week " - omg ?such a tragic married life , unknown to his wife, whom he is still married to , she has no idea what so ever. This site has one advantage over the others I've tried. It doesn't bombard you with popups and try to send you to porn sites. The auto renew is easy to cancel if you contact support.
I joined for 10 weeks at ~£200 and so far have sent 30 messages to possible matches. Now I know the site better, I can tell most of these women haven't even logged on for months, let alone read the message. I have made 2 contacts, one of whom is happy to chat and tell me about her holidays. The other seems to want something, but I can't work out what.
I get a regular email of "matches", which IE claims are new to the site. After a couple of weeks, I realised they were rotating the same profiles over and over again, some I had already messaged without a reply.
The only matching that is done is to the contact's age and location. It doesn't even check that I am within their age range, so I have to waste time weeding those out.
Sorting matches by "last login" shows I have already seen the ones who have been on the site recently and there are very few new members, unless you are in London.
There is a "flirt forum" where in theory you can post public messages, but these are heavily moderated and most of the threads started 3-4 years ago. It is also very slow.
You may be lucky, depending on your age and where you live, but I wouldn't hold your breath.

I think you'll be hard pressed to find a better site if you're looking to find genuine women for an extra marital relationship.

The number of fake profiles seem small and there are real people here, I certainly met a number and am now in a wonderful relationship because of this site

Just as others have said, as soon as you pay the alerts stop. It’s just a scam, don’t waste your money. And they auto enroll you so keep taking the money when it clearly states you buy for a defined period of time. Thieves. Avoid!!!!

Third time lucky on IE? Only if you enjoy playing poker against a marked deck!
Not one to give up easily, I joined IE again for a minimum, affordable, five days. Guess what? Same results. Swamped by alerts before paying and then …. silence. The few contacts that I had were from the same old profiles with sexy photos and slickly written text. How come they were still looking after five months??There were a few contacts from other ‘normal?’ ladies, but from too far away. The very strange thing was that the inhabitants of the sexy photo profiles, only managed to grunt a maximum of three words in their messages to me, no matter what I said. Bots? Reporting a whole bunch of similar profiles to customer support, I got the crass message that all profiles were genuine. It’s flying piggy time again!!

It was fun chatting to people, I joined with no intention of meeting anyone, if I did then great, but if not then I would be equally happy. I have had a couple of requests that to me were quite weird and would describe them as over the top kinky but each to their own, I am not here to judge anyone. But the ones I have got on with have been very pleasant, even met one a couple of times for a coffee and it was also pleasant, so definitely a site I would recommend to friends if this is something they wanted and I may re-join again if my present situation does not work out. This site should carry a health warning. It preys on the vulnerable, milks them for all they’re worth in the vain hope of finding someone.
Having spent quite some time on the site, the vast majority of women are either just passing the time of day, wanting their ego’s suitably inflated or have their own issues and are looking for a shoulder to cry on.
IE has taken anything decent from me, suitably rinsed me and then just spat me out the other side like most other men.
Do yourself a favour and devote your energies to life at home - you’ll be suitably rewarded.
