Unresponsive

-package delivered with a gash and damage to the item. We were told an expert approved the return, but there was no further news for weeks
-kitchen measurement never happened. They were supposed to call to give a time. Never happened. two weeks later after we pursued this, we finally received a call. they were supposed to come for measurement that day but never did
-waited half hour in store just to be able to order a simple part for our pax
-tried 10 times to get through on their helpline. Wrote several times as well.
-finally, after 15 days, the cargo company came but instead of exchanging one door, they took all three. no way to talk to the cargo company. no sign of a refund. we called ikea and they will send 3 new doors

Waste of time

IKEA Türkiye is very expensive as the prices are much higher than in Denmark - where the living costs are high and VAT is 25%.
Countless items are not avaible online and also not in stock in the stores.
I love to go to IKEA in Denmark but in Türkiye it is a complete waste of time.

Bad quality and zero customer support

Bad quality and zero customer support! Ordered a wardrobe, received it broken. I tired to request a replacement but was ignored. No money was refunded. A waste of 4000tl. Don't waste time and money here. Look elsewhere for better service.

Ordering from IKEA in Türkiye online…

Ordering from IKEA in Türkiye online has been the worst experience ever. They use Horoz Lojistik to deliver the items, but do not provide an accurate delivery date or time. Awful customer service, who can’t provide any information about the delivery. Have been waiting for over a week with no information about when I will receive my items…it’s very disappointing I will never use this service again.

My review is based of money which I spent in ikea furniture, waste of time and waste of money
Worst brand ever even I am not considering ikea as a brand it's just a way of looting people non negotiable stuff I don't know why people buy from ikea it's not a value of money neither they are good in their services & quality , 1000 of better shops in the market

IKEA Delivery

Ordered two dressers, racks, plates and other items from Ikea. The items were supposed to be delivered and a date selection and time was advertised on the site. I paid and after further inspection, I realized that the small print states only for select items; none of my select items were part of that. Then on Saturday I get an email from Ikea and a message from the delivery company called Horoz saying the items have been received to their 'depot'. I am a teacher and I work remotely, so I called Horoz and no one replied. They tried to deliver on monday while I was teaching and I could not accept it, as it required I inspect items for damage and if any items are accepted, a refund cannot be made for damage, only at the time of delivery, which was when I was working and teaching ( I can't stop teaching a class that I am legally bound to teach and I live alone). I asked them to come back on Wednesday, cleared my schedule and the delivery company is not coming on Wednesday. I called Ikea and they said that customers cannot choose the delivery date. I read the contract's fine print and it states that if the items are not delivered because you are not able to accept their delivery on whatever date they decide to deliver and whatever time they decide to deliver, then they are left at the address and any damage or theft is the buyer's responsibility. Furthermore to the aforementioned, the buyer cannot return the items during the delivery process if they have been taken by the delivery company and if a customer requires a return, no money will be refunded to the customer. I called IKEA's customer service number in English and left messages their web forum from the IKEA website, in English and in Turkish, but only had one call with a Turkish speaking person who informed me, from my limited Turkish, that IKEA customers cannot choose a delivery time or date. So a customer would do well to remember that you have to be home for an entire week, not working, waiting around for a delivery from IKEA, who knows when. At a time of the covid pandemic, when most people are working from home, I had expected better from IKEA but I was sourly disappointed. I wish I could give less than half a star for a review, because one star is too much.

Worst Ikea in the world !! Stay away from Turkey Ikea !!!

Where do I start ??
I went by myself to the shop and didn’t order online to make sure I get all my parts and products since online shopping from here is a disaster !
It started with a broken delivered sofa bed that comes in 3 parts, customer service don’t speak English, and the only way is to leave multiple voicemails and tens of messages and emails with no reply !! I ended up having to go again to the store to ask for exchange since am traveling and I don’t have much time to wait. They arrived the next day replacing the Sofa bed but it wasn’t complete ( got 2/3 parts) and they forgot to deliver it because well they are unbelievably unprofessional !
Tried to complain AGAIN to customer service and the representative was so rude and unprofessional with an attitude as well, and when I tried calling her the next day she said she doesn’t work for Ikea and it’s a wrong number ( not surprised tbh) !! Long story short am traveling and I didn’t receive the missing part and after calling so many times today no one knows if I it’s out for delivery or not !
AVOID IT LIKE THE PLAGUE !!

I have dealt many times with Ikea Dubai…

I have dealt many times with Ikea Dubai and Ikea Germany, which has always been spot on. However, having used Ikea Turkey was my worst online shopping experience ever. No coordination.. they are all over the place. From ordering your goods till assembly you should expect around 3 months, in the meantime your will have to call Ikea every days after 2 weeks of delay. Then you will write emails, which never get answered. Then you will contact the courier company yourself everyday.. and so on and on.. And in the end you wont have any results. Your good will be half deliever and half lost, with no one wanting to take ownership of the missing items.

I can only describe it as a Joke. Save yourself a lot headache and stay away from Ikea Turkey online shopping!

Poor Service

I am from Singapore and our IKEA is excellent. IKEA TURKEY IS BAD SERVICE Waited for 2 weeks before delivery. Had to drive 1.5 hours to pick my order from another city. I called and and emailed and asked for an explanation but no reply. Will never order from IKEA. Back home in Singapore our IKEA is excellent. I bought from IKEA because I am familiar with the brand. I understand quality and service is different in each country. I strongly recommend not buying from IKEA Turkey
