We have a timber barn that we have completely renovated and we were originally looking at timber doors for the kitchen but we'd become a bit nervous after hearing all the trouble other people had experienced with wooden bifolding doors. We saw ID Systems at an exhibition and their aluminium bifolding doors with internal timber instantly became the obvious solution to the challenge we'd faced.

The ID Systems sales team and fitters were brilliant with us and we managed to spec the doors to perfectly match the exposed beams of the barn and we absolutely adore the finished look.

Installation of grand sliding doors and roof lantern. Good advice when having a survey and the drawings were clear. Flexible on fitting date and installation went well.

The team at ID systems have been amazing, right from start to finish.

The sales team were really helpful, answering all the many questions I had.

Being very patient with me whilst I explored a few options and never once being pushy.

The surveyor that visited the site was really helpful, working closely with our Builder to ensure the opening was to built to spec, which did require a few alterations prior to install.

And finally the install team were amazing. They all turned up exactly when planned and they were all extremely polite and conscientious.

I would definitely recommend ID Systems and we're so glad we chose them for our Sliding Doors.

A truly professional organisation and all staff showed good knowledge and understanding of our requirements.
We were guided through the sales and production process and felt that all our wishes and needs were addressed.
The showroom staff were always keen to clarify any questions and concerns we raised through the process.
Installation of the doors and windows was carried out by experienced fitters.

Excellent all round service from IDS, from the initial contact by the website, visit to the showroom, ordering process, and final installation.

The building company that were extending and modernising my house were unable to supply a front door that met my requirements.

I have found that the pre-sale advice, fitting service and aftersales care provided by IDSystems has been excellent. The design of the door is exactly what I wanted. The door has clearly been very cleverly designed and manufactured to a high standard.

Although the replacement windows supplied by my builder are perfectly satisfactory, I just wish that they had also been supplied by IDS!

I would have absolutely no hesitation in recommending IDS to potential customers.

The sales staff were very knowledgeable and helpful. There was an 11 week production period which delayed our project, however, the sales staff were always helpful whenever we rang for an update. The installation of our sliding doors was stress and issue free. The engineers were courteous, respectful and efficient. They pointed out a small scratch mark on one of the frames which we may not have noticed and assured us that it would be repaired in the near future. Sure enough, ID Systems contacted us to arrange a suitable date for this work to be carried out. This company is by far not the cheapest but it is of excellent quality and design. All in all, we are extremely delighted with the finished article and would have no hesitation in recommending this company.

Fantastic Bifold Doors
Finally got round to writing this review on the bifold doors which I have had installed when renovating my property.
The most recent doors were installed in a kitchen extension. The whole team at ID systems were a joy to work with - clear and timely communication during the order process, ongoing updates during production and to the lovely team who fitted on site.
Ours was a self build rennovation project and the team were happy to assist with questions regarding dimensions to ensure best fit, when the doors arrived the installation was smooth and pain free!

The doors look fantastic and match those installed in the lounge 7 years ago (see second image), so I can also testify to the long term quality and durability of the product.
Overall one very happy customer!

If you are looking at reviews of this company then congratulations are in order as if you carry on and use IDS to supply your doors you will have made , without question, the best decision that you will make about the project that you are undertaking.
We saw the doors at the Building Centre in central London - there's no one there to talk to but the doors alone are enough to convince you - and every other manufacturer paled by comparison.
The quality of the finished product (which is truly exceptional) is also matched by the customer service from IDS themselves.
It's simple, straightforward, timely and very precise - which is exactly what is needed when you are about to commit a 5 figure sum.
I can't recommend the company highly enough.
Appreciate that this may sound a bit gushing and over the top but it's rare to encounter product and service of this level currently so it is important to set companies such as this apart from the rest.

After extensive research looking for a patio door which offered the benefits of French doors without the downsides of the large profiles, we chose the IDS vistaline doors.
The ordering process was straightforward, the lead time long, and the installation professional.
The doors are expensive but well made and we hope they will stand the test of time.
Overall we are satisfied with the experience and the product.

We are so pleased that we employed IDSystems to develop my design for our for our glazing requirements for our Conservatory and Sunroom. From the start when dealing with their staff and discussing our ideas and preferences, they were extremely helpful and knowledgeable. Subsequently as the proposals were developed and finalised we were able to easily adjust the design and explore alternatives to suit and adjust our budget. The staff on site were equally supportive and have provided us with outstanding quality extensions, that are repeatedly admired and we believe will continue to be well into the future.

I decided to go with ID Systems from the very initial start of my project and I am glad I did. There are many bi fold door manufacturers out there however coming from a engineering back ground myself I wanted a quality product that would last and look aesthetically pleasing to the eye. I have to say I have not been disappointed and the service from the initial sale and advice to installation was exceptional. A great company that takes a pride in all aspects of customer service.

We love the doors from ID Systems and now that summer is finally here we can take full advantage of them! The showroom has a great selection of doors so it is really worth a visit to understand how your finished door might look, the staff were able to answer all the questions and advise us of our options. We took our builder along and they worked well with ID systems to prepare the site. On the day of installation the team were great, they stayed late through to the end of the day to make sure everything was working perfectly. This was a big purchasing decision but it has been a fantastic addition to our project and we are happy that we opted for the pocket door rather than a bi-fold alternative. The sight lines are great and we feel very connected to the garden which has really changed the whole feel of the room. Highly recommend ID systems.

This is an excellent company whom we first came across many years ago on Grand Designs.We have bought 3 sets of bifold doors over the years and some bifold windows.They have all been really good and I would not use any other company.The fitters are very careful and take a great deal of trouble to make sure everything is level so that the doors open easily.

We had a full set of windows, bi fold doors and roof lantern from ID Systems. Great service from first contact all the way thro to the final install and the finished products exceeded all our hopes they just look stunning and quality is superb.

We are completely let down by ID systems.

Our new window glass has some unsightly manufacturing faults inside the large double glazed units. We advised their customer service about this and after 2 frustrating years of complaining a surveyor was sent out who acknowledged the faults and accordingly reported back to ID systems. We never heard anything back, they ignore many of my messages, and now they say they cant remember any of this case.

Following 5 years - yes .. 5 years.. of their customer service inaction and having to put up with the unsightly marks in my very expensive feature windows I have finally had to give up with ID Systems. I haven't the energy for a legal battle.

ID Systems will sell you their expensive products but have little interest in honouring their guarantee. My fear is that should a mechanical fault develop in these bespoke windows, doors and locks, who would I turn to ?

I would like to say that for the last 15 years the advice, care and service we have received from ID Systems has been absolutely amazing – far better than anything I have experienced with any other company in my lifetime. You are helpful, pragmatic and above all else, keen to put the customer first, even if it misses out on you being able to charge for more for site visits – an extremely rare commodity in this day and age.

ID Systems could so nearly have received a 5 star review were in not for their appalling in-office customer service.
The two products installed look great, and the surveyor / installation team were helpful.
However, we originally ordered four units, two of which were subsequently cancelled as the lead times kept extending. Delays were also notified on the remaining products but we were informed that cancellation of the whole order would incur a 15% charge.
ID Systems response was always that delivery dates are only confirmed once the contract has been received and logged into manufacturing and that the dates given before then are purely indicative.
