Buy and sell diamond rings and diamond engagement rings with complete confidence.

Buyers beware. We bought my engagement ring for 29k with an AIG report from their “experts” with it appraised at 52k. Upon a second appraisal for insurance the ring is at most worth 12k. The ring and package with report were fully deceiving as this was a special investment and it’s disgusting to be lied to.....

I first listed my ring for sale in mid 2020. I was in no rush to sell so I waited until I got a fair offer. My ring sold at the end of January 2021. They actually didn't remove my listing and email me that it sold until Feb. 2nd. I mailed the ring to them and a day or two after the tracking said it arrived they sent me an email saying they received it and would let me know when it passed inspection. It took them 13 business days to do their inspection and email me that it passed and that they were shipping it to the buyer. That was at the end of Feb. so I waited 2 weeks until 3/15 when they should've mailed my check, but I heard nothing from them that day. That's when I discovered this site and saw all the bad reviews of people who had not been paid, so I got nervous. Ultimately I decided to be patient. On 3/23/21 they finally sent me an email saying they would issue my check the next week. Of course the next week came and went and still nothing, so I sent them an email the next monday asking about it and they said they were still printing checks but that they would look into it. 2 days later they sent another email saying they would mail my check the next day. Thankfully that turned out to be true and I received an email with a usps tracking number for my check. I received the check a few days later, and it cleared no problem. At the end of the day the website worked as described, but the whole payment process was much slower than what they advertise it. I will also say I thought their customer service was pretty good and they were pretty responsive. So from my experience I would say the site is legit, but I'd tell people to use caution and have patience.
I signed up when they 1st came out. But as per usual in the USA, things start out great and degrade from there. Tech support is non-existant- you have to go through 1.5 hours of trying on your end to fix when they ALLOWED passwords to be compromised- then they ignore your pleas to reset your password once locked out. I am just grateful I did not post my financial info with them.
BEWARE !!!
This is a total scam, as I read the reviews I’m telling you, there is one way to get your money , file a complaint in the attorney General’s office, and some other consumer help, because they don’t give a shot on BBB , only power will bring your check back
My rating has fluctuated a lot with this company. Starting at a 5 during the initial sale process, everything went smoothly. However, after waiting months for my check, as many other reviewers have noted, and not getting an adequate response from the company the only recourse I had left was to file a compliant with the NY Attorney General. The process is simple, and IDoNowIDont seems to prioritize matters that are coming directly from the AG's office. Google "ny attorney general file complaint", and click through to the "consumer frauds and scams" page. Be sure to have any screenshots or interactions ready to submit as well as the proper timeline of events to report.
I have landed on a 2 as I did eventually get my check, but it was quite the headache and probably not worth it in the end. However, if you can get a better price and are willing to deal with a bit of a delay it may be worth it to you.
I sold my ring in October 2020 and didn’t receive payment until March 2021. They are lightning quick to correct your posting if there is the slightest inaccuracy, but they do not even bother to contact you if they are delayed on their end. The only reason I received payment was because I launched a formal complaint with Better Business Bureau. Thank goodness I didn’t rely on that payment to support me through the pandemic.
I would give a negative 5 stars if I could. I never received my payment on my ring that I sold. This company is a scam. Im seriously upset that I might have lost 2000$. I dont know what action I can take next
I sold a diamond ring on this site on November 18,2020 and it is now Feb 21, 2021 and I still have not gotten paid! When you call their office number, there is no answer. They say the office is closed due to COVID. I am seriously worried that I may lose my $6109 from the sale of the diamond. I am crushed, please take my experience as a warning.
Similar to everyone below, I sold a ring in April of 2020. I was promised multiple payment dates, but each time we arrived at one there was another excuse waiting. Eventually they stopped replying to my emails entirety. Covid delays are understandable, but the lack of transparency and communication is not. After filing a complaint with the NY Attorney General's office, I have finally received my payment. 9 months and a thousand headaches later. For those of you still waiting for your payment, it was extremely easy to file a claim with their office. Please go and file so the state is aware of this ridiculously ill-managed company.
I've been using the service for several years and I have never been impressed with their payment method. It takes 2 to 3 months to receive payments for transactions. I have contacted the company on a number of occasions regarding this. Now with Covid it's gotten ridiculously worse I still have not received payment for a transaction from September. I have contacted them at least twice regarding this and am getting the same excuse that their offices have been impacted since March, with limited communication. I have decided not to renew about 20 transactions that I have on their site and will not be using their service any longer. Until they get their payment processing together I don't recommend using them to sell your fine jewelry.
I should’ve done my research, had I seen all of these reviews I never would’ve even thought about trusting them with thousands. I sold my ring back in July 2020. Now January I still have not received payment. They stopped responding to me back In October. By some miracle I was able to get someone from “customer service” to call me. He was extremely rude and told me I needed to be patient and that they have given me ample enough response for me not to complain. Their ample response: a computer generate auto reply email explaining there’s a pandemic involving covid 19
Yeah ok. I still get mail? I can order something online. It’s still delivered. I can go to the bank and manage transactions. It’s all a bs scam. I’m out of $10,000 now. Do not use this company and I urge everyone who has and they’re in the same boat as me to leave as many negative reviews and warn people as much as possible. Shut this circus down!
Like so many others, I am also waiting on my check for a diamond ring I sold in May 2020. I sent my ring the very next day after I received the notice it was sold on May 1, 2020. I then received an email on May 8, 2020 confirming they received it and my account showed the sale as being processed. Based on their payment schedule policy, my payment should have been mailed out on June 15. I still have not received my payment of $1600 (after their 20% commission taken). I have tried to contact them several times and continue to get the same canned response about COVID 19 causing a delay. I can certainly understand there being a delay due to COVID 19 shutting down NYC in the Spring, however, after this long of a delay it is no longer an acceptable excuse when NYC reopened in June. They have continued to receive payments from buyers, as well as jewelry from other sellers. As a seller it is frustrating to see positive reviews from buyers receiving beautiful rings, while sellers are desperately awaiting the payment for those rings that is rightfully ours. Especially in times like these when so many people are struggling financially and the reason for choosing to sell sentimental pieces is to make ends meet. I highly recommend you looks elsewhere to sell or buy your ring at this time.
Update 11/2020: I still have not received payment. Do not use this service if you want to be paid, instead you will end up providing this company an unauthorized, interest fee loan out of your own pocket, while they continue to take commissions on top of it.
Update 1/4/2020: Have continued to reach out, not heard anything in response and STILL NOT PAID. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY.
This is a scam. Ovoid a headache and wasting time. I did not listen the bad reviews of this place and I am now paying the price.
I am working with the Attorney General of NY regarding this company. They have stolen my ring AND my money.
FRAUD and SCAM business! do NOT do business with these people, they just take your money and NEVER pay their sellers. I sold a ring for $30,000 on the website and never got paid, but the buyer got their item long ago. The company makes up excuses for why they cant pay their bills, like their ONE employee who can write checks suddenly has covid so you cant get your check now. Its just a scam and lies.
BEWARE BEWARE BEWARE
Seems to be fraudulent. ‘Sold” a ring, and have never been paid. I’m going to have to take legal action now, unfortunately.
I seriously doubt the validity of any positive review of this company. Especially those posted during the same time frame as the negative ones. As far as I can tell, they are an internet only site and operate out of a Fedex dropbox. They are NOT impacted by Covid and are using it as a convenient excuse. I too sold a ring and was forced to hire a New York lawyer to get paid. They have a flashy social media presence on twitter, facebook and instagram, however, they do not allow comments. Such cowards. Their check has "sell wisely" imprinted on it. Take their advice. You would be better off selling your ring at a pawn shop. At least they are honest about ripping you off.
My experience is just like most everyone else’s on this site: I HAVE NOT BEEN PAID!

They take your jewelry and don't pay you for it. It's a SCAM. They sold my ring July 2020, and as of December I still have not been paid. They use excuses like "we can't get to the office" or "we are setting up a new computer system", but they are able to take your jewelry and money from buyers without any problem. Over 150 complaints to the BBB.
I listed a diamond engagement ring/wedding band set on this site in Aug 2020 and was notified in Sept that the rings had sold to an online buyer. After the company took possession of the rings and supposedly "authenticated" them, they did not send payment to me and stopped replying to my emails requesting a payment status update. No excuse given for why they did not pay me, they simply will not reply. When calling on the phone the person who answers identifies herself as the "answering service" (even though I'm calling during regular business hours) and promises a response from customer care within 24 hours that of course never comes. Look at the Better Business Bureau website, close to 200 similar complaints of sellers not getting paid. Please take the time to report them to the FTC and state attorney general office if you have also been defrauded by this company.
