This company cold called our business this week offering domain names that had recently become available after a company similar to ours closed down. The call sounded genuine, but on closer inspection the email came from a gmail account and had no legal disclaimer and therefore I became suspicious. Only after telling the woman who was constantly calling our business that we were not interested did I see the other reviews for this company which confirms it is a scam.

Avoid like the plague - see other reviews as had a similar experience.

This company is seriously shady. Avoid at all costs unless you like giving your money away and getting nothing in return. Here's an extract from my last (attempted) correspondence with them. I also cancelled my credit card so they could not charge me again.

"Please note that the email below was sent on xx/xx/2021 to all email addresses known to me at idomains. All of them bounced back as unrecognized. I tried to call but the phone number on your website was not recognized. I have very good reason to believe all of the atrocious 1 star reviews on Trustpilot because they reflect my dire experience with your company. Strange how there are no 2, 3 or 4 star reviews. I believe that all the 5 star reviews are fake. Quite incredible that the email address you have now contacted me on is a ‘gmail address’ – how very unprofessional for a web domains company. Not to mention the irony of your email below - ‘The pot calling the kettle black’ - You of all people, calling another company scammers – Perhaps they are. I don’t care. I shan’t be responding to any company that cold calls me again."

I would like my ownership of this domain name to run its course (what I have paid for to date and no more). I shall not renew it when my ownership expires.

Please do not send any further invoices for extensions, redirects, or SSL certificate renewals as they will not be paid.

Please do not call or email with new offers or deals.

Under the GDPR regulations, I formally request that you delete my contact details from your database.

I regret that I have found your company’s sales strategy overbearing, pushy and very confusing. When I require domain name services I shall do the research and source a company of my choice.

Idomains are either extremely poor business operators or clever scammers. Do not provide your credit card details, they take this as being open season for monthly payments, without agreement, or contracts in that regard. What service they provide I have no idea, virtual clap trap, dark arts, maybe just good old fashioned confidence trickery. Do not be fooled

Do not touch this company with a barge pole! I didn’t realise I was actually a charity! 2 years ago I was contacted by idomains to increase my visibility and given a domain name. This never existed and after contacting them, I was told it was an oversight and this would be rectified. Nothing happened. I contacted them to request that I was taken off their books and to cancel any further business as their services were misleading and miss sold!
This year 2021 I received an email invoice for payment. I quickly sent a mail requesting that they had no authority or right to take any money from my account, but they helped themselves to my card details and took the money for a service that did not exist after specifically asking them not to.
I have on numerous times requested a refund, but am still waiting! Do not touch this company, they are a complete rip off. I do intend to take this further legally.

My experience with this company was extremely bad. Nothing Idomains promised came to fruition. Now I know what I know - I realise my naivety led me to believe in their services. Since then I now realise they would have never been able to deliver on their promises in any case. Google cant be fooled , to all those looking to build your website and presence - it takes allot of work , time and specialist seo skill. You cant fool the system. If your budget is low - do not hand over your hard earned pounds to these guys. They will squander it like they did with me.
Learn the concepts and get the necessary knowledge you need go implement it.

Hello, they were very nice on the phone, I paid them more then a £1000 for the services that I never received! I called them too many times, nobody is answering calls, returning calls or replies to messages! They robbed me! If anyone know how to get in touch with them, please let me know. Please be aware of these scammers! Don’t give them your hard earned money!

Shockingly bad company. Words fail me......please, please don't hand them your card details. You'll live to regret it!

Avoid this company I believe I have been scammed I paid them a lot of money for a domain name and was then offered the same name from a reliable source I am now starting a legal claim to get my money back and reporting to Action Fraud.

We are a small business which needed allot of help to improve our online position. Idomains cold called to sell us their product and service. They assured us the success and guaranteed high volumes of traffic and results in a few months from setup. However from beginning to the end nothing came fruition. Their customer services a really poor and did not take any responsibility for the failure of their product and services. I am now out pocket and our business suffered a blow. I have learnt my lesson - and advise any one else to stay clear of this scam company.

Avoid at all costs. Paid for a few domains and for them to maintain them. I wanted to change them to another host and they wouldn't reply to any emails or calls. They did however call me back to try to sell more services. When I explained the issue they said it was someone else dealing with it and they will be in touch. Still no response. Also they don't use signatures in their emails so they go directly to junk too. All very dodgy

Only get 1* as I cannot mark less!

Been sending "spam" domain/ssl renewal invoices for domains they have no connection with.

Terrible company cancelled with them last year as they tried to take my invoice early, hard to get into contact with and then very confrontational. Did it again this year despite my telling them last year to take me off their list. Again hard to contact but they did refund me quicker this year. Avoid at all costs.

Seeing as Idomains own Domaingiants and i cant find anywhere to review domain giants, i will review here!

AVOID LIKE THE PLAGUE! this company offered me a fully oftimised SEO page to rank me on 1st page of google for my chosen area. i went ahead and paid them there fee.. they have not delivered as promised and a year later have taken £170 off my debit card without my permission! when asked to refund they said it was automatic renewal and if i wanted to cancel i needed to give 30 days notice as per there terms.

not once was i ever made aware of there terms! i have emailed them 4 times demanding a refund which they have ignored!

I have told them i will claim in small claims court plus fees and a charge at £50 per hour for my time.. but still no reply..

they are quick to take your money and not deliver!

Used this company for our website service now for many years. They have been professional and helpful when I have required them. Never had any issues other than minor ones that have been sorted promptly.

We have been with Idomains for many years now and I have never had any hesitation in recommending their services. Luke who deals with our website is an absolute star nothing is ever too much trouble.
10/10 for the service they provide
