Appalling delivery service.. Took ages to come and kept promising was out for delivery when it wasn't at all.

Awful company. New staff each day who don't know the products or how to work their system. Items always damaged. Delivery drivers careless when driving, don't wrap the goods in the van or protect them in any way. Overall I would avoid at all costs.

I ordered two Ideal standard Tesi Aquablade toilet pans, a shower tray and a bath tub from a third party retailer but the items were delivered by Ideal bathrooms. Nothing arrived in good condition, the replacement were not any better than the first. Dents to the shower tray and scratches on the bathtub. First pair of bathroom pans - one arrived with deep scratches on the top surface and the other missing the fittings. The replacements pair arrive in such poor quality with lumps and indentations on the vitreous China and one even with a patch of glaze missing at the rim of the aquablade. The third replacement arrived with a 9-inch crack across the top and centre and with different branding, sottini instead of ideal standard. The delivery note had “THIS IS A REPLACEMENT ORDER A SUPERVISOR OR MANAGER MUST CHECK GOODS” the toilet pans were slightly different height and shape too in addition to having a massive crack across the top and middle of the pan. I called them directly for a replacement and got passed from sales to marketing to sales only to be told they can’t explain how this has happened, no apology and I have to speak to the third party retailer who have been apologetic and responsive. I would describe Ideal Bathrooms in 3 words - incompetent, appalling customer service and poor quality/ fraud (selling rejects as normal goods) this is TBD pending a response from Ideal Standard.

Having to arrange 2 rounds of replacements that are still unusable toilet pans is holding up the renovation works… I can’t return every single item and buy a completely different brand from anywhere else but here because my builder has already started installing the other items. My takeaway here, I hope I will never again deal will IDEAL BATHROOMS and the verdict is still out on Ideal standard. I ordered the basins from another supplier and they arrived fine without the imperfections. I have sent photos of the poor finish and now awaiting feedback with Ideal spec if Ideal bathrooms have been sending me rejects or if their quality control / finish is so poor. How difficult it is to get toilet pans to arrive that are the correct branding, not broken, and ideally both the same make and model on the third attempt. It beggars belief… tomorrow I will speak to my retailer for attempt #4.

I contacted Ideal Bathrooms as there had been an issue with a delivery ordered from another company. I had contacted said company on numerous occasions, so in desperation decided to go direct to the supplier - Ideal Bathrooms. I spoke to Rachel in direct deliveries who sorted the problem out in no time at all, and the correct product was delivered to me the following day. Excellent service.

Bought a couple of shower bases with traps and a shower enclosure for a new build. Just come to fit the bases and the shower traps have a different thread to UK couplings. Ended up buying two more traps from Screwfix who told me that this a common issue with online suppliers. Cannot phone or email Ideal bathrooms. Order No. 830055.

Awful delivery service from the ideal bathrooms. The rudest delivery driver dropped my bath off in the communal bins area, didn’t ask for signature or name and rushed off telling me it’s not his problem if it gets stolen or damaged. Absolutely shocking and horrible service.

I ordered my Vitra Vanity Unit through QS Supplies LTD. My unit however was later delivered through Ideal Bathrooms. When after a few months the laminate got loose I complained with QS Supplies. In an email they stated that the damage was caused by me as the unit got wet (not true) but also stated that the Vitra vanity unit was a fake!! On all the invoices it says it is a Vitra but they deliver imitation bad quality stuff!! When I emailed them I did not agree and demanded a new real unit I never got an answer from QS Supplies!! So do not order anything with this company or QS Supplies. They are con artists!!

Have a shatter proof shower screen from ideal in my chartford homes house and it has broken leaving glass everywhere. Clearly a manufacturing fault

BEWARE of suppliers try to ship you with a reconditioned bath, claiming it is brand new.

This is not just a comment about this particular bathroom supplies distributor but the whole UK bathroom industry is rigged. (I had issues with PLUMBASE also).

It's like peeling layers off an onion skin, with the manufacturer, in this case Ideal Standards.
- Ideal Standards: do not take direct customer orders even though has stock; although they can send directly
- Ideal Bathrooms: a distributor, also do not take orders directly, but manages the shipments
- consumer can only order from online or shops; but these shops have no control of the delivery and quality.

ISSUE 1: bath arrived with original protective film largely removed or replaced. Ideal Standards told me not to accept it as it might be reconditioned from damaged shipment previously.

ISSUE 2: Ideal Bathroom delivery is always an ALL DAY service, but their drivers are meant to give at least one hour notice call to the customer, but they NEVER DO. Always 5 - 10 mins before arrival.
For regular small items, this is probably acceptable.

BUT, Baths are BIG items. The whole industry don't really care about customer service. As can be seen in many trustpilot all other review websites, delivery is usually the NUMBER ONE complain.

The issue of stuffing reconditioned baths are also damages caused by delivery people. The manufacturer would not take it back so the distributors tries to repair (which many are succeeding to hide) so the packaging would look very different.

SO REALLY the issue with the distribution and the drivers.

ISSUE 3: on multiple occasions, delivery on big bath only come with one person, the driver. They almost always expect the consumer to help carry it into the house.

REALLY!!!! SO BEWARE OF RECONDITIONED BATHS.
