The item that I ordered for a replacement of the one that got broken , was different the old one fitted on the out side of the tube this new one fits in the inside, please place the in and external sizes for this item but we got it to fit ok

Thanks for your feedback — we really appreciate you taking the time to explain the difference. We’re glad you managed to get it to fit, but we completely understand it can be confusing when a replacement fits *inside* the duct rather than *over* the outside like the previous one.
From what we can see, we don’t appear to have a record of the original part being purchased from us, so we’re assuming it may have been from an alternative manufacturer — and different makes do vary on whether a spigot is designed to fit internally or externally. We’ve taken a look at our product listing and it does specify that this model fits inside, however we’ll review the page to see if we can make that even clearer to avoid any future confusion.
If you can share a photo of the old part (or its key measurements), we’ll happily help you identify the closest like-for-like option for next time.
