4-hour delay & Fraudulent "Delivered" status
I am absolutely disgusted by the service. I pre-ordered a day in advance for a 14:30-17:30 delivery slot, yet HungryPanda missed BOTH delivery windows (17:30 and 19:30). After waiting for over 4 hours, the driver only moved 2miles in 2 hours!
To make matters worse, the app falsely marked my order as "DELIVERED" when I never received a single item. This is a blatant lie and fraudulent practice. Only after a long, exhausting fight with customer service did they finally agree to a Full Refund (£32.20) and a measly £7 voucher.
While I got my money back, they have wasted my entire evening and left me with no dinner. A refund is the bare minimum requirement by law (Consumer Rights Act 2015) for a service failure, NOT a compensation for the 4 hours of my life they wasted.
Zero stars for reliability. Zero stars for their scheduling system. Use Deliveroo or UberEats instead!

Awful Experience
I ordered takeaway through HungryPanda and the food arrived completely soaked in oil and not edible.
I contacted both the restaurant and HungryPanda support. The restaurant refused a refund and the platform only offered a voucher instead of refunding my payment.
The order total was £38.58.
I have now reported the issue to Citizens Advice and Trading Standards.
This is unacceptable customer service and I will not use HungryPanda again unless this issue is properly resolved.
Total Scams - Missing Main Ingredient & Terrible Customer Service
I am extremely disappointed with HungryPanda. I ordered a beef dish for £10, but when it arrived, there was ZERO beef in the container—just a few side vegetables. This is a clear case of "Goods Not As Described" under the Consumer Rights Act.
When I contacted customer service with clear photo evidence, they had the audacity to offer me a measly £5 voucher instead of a full refund. Why should I be forced to spend more money on this platform just to get back half of what I lost?
Their "Online Consultant" (HP-104759) kept wasting my time with scripted apologies instead of fixing the issue. If you value your money and expect to actually receive the food you paid for, AVOID HUNGRYPANDA AT ALL COSTS. They protect dishonest merchants and ignore legitimate customer complaints.
I will be filing a formal dispute (Chargeback) with my bank and reporting this incident to the relevant authorities if a FULL REFUND to my original payment method is not issued immediately.

I ordered food from a restaurant in Preston (Melbourne) for delivery via the Hungry Panda service for the Lunar New Year dinner. I should have read these reviews before proceeding and trusted my judgment, since I had a doubt before ordering. I've never used Hungry Panda before; maybe I should never use it at all and just stick with the other services, which already proven to be reliable.
Spent quite a bit of money on my order, placed it at around 5.15 pm, and waited until almost 7 pm (6:50). I immediately tried to contact Panda via live chat, but I doubt these agents are human. They keep telling me the restaurant is busy and still processing my order (a lie).
I took the initiative to call the restaurant to check, and the lady said they cannot find anyone (from Panda) to deliver. I offered to have my husband pick up the order in person instead. The restaurant staff said to contact Panda directly, she cannot help me with the order and then hung up on me. I was stuck in between with no help from either the restaurant or Panda's side.
I sent my husband to the restaurant anyway to get some clarification. Turned out the restaurant had cancelled my order because they could not find a Panda driver. They have not cooked my order at all.
No cancellation notification was sent to me, so I was not aware until my husband came in person.
I contacted Panda again to request a full refund because the amount was deducted from my account. Their agent replied that the refund will be processed within 3 to 14 days. I told them that my family dinner is ruined; I have hungry family members waiting, and there is no food on the table.
They refunded all my money within an hour and offered a $10 voucher. I will never use their services again. They should not offer delivery services to restaurants or customers in areas where they lack drivers.
Aggressive driver
Aggressive driver. How many bad reviews until they do something about the drivers? Everyone is complaining about them. And the drivers behave like this because they know the company would not do anything. One of the drivers was violent with my concierge and hit the computer and the building sign. He destroyed the building sign. When the complaint was sent, the company said even the driver is coming from hungrypanda, doesn’t mean is their driver. The food WAS ORDERED from Hungrypanda. Address was provided and they said they cannot identify the driver as many others delivered at the exact same hour to the area. WE PROVIDED THE FLAT NUMBER. that is a joke.

Do not order through Hungry Panda. I had to pick up my own order as after 20 minutes my order had not been picked up by driver. Food was then cold. Spent nearly an hour online trying to resolve through their Chinese customer service, before leaving out of disgust. They should not be allowed to operate in Australia. I will be reporting to Consumer Affairs.

Service is terrible. You order raw, undercooked meat, and my traveling companion had burnt chicken. Worst of all, the restaurant staff are so rude and antisocial. It's not worth the money. It's a huge mess. Too many people, too little attention, and the quality is terrible. If you want to get sick, you shouldn't eat here. It's so bad. The municipality should close it down.

Unprofessional and unacceptable service standards
I have tried to sign up as a delivery partner for this company.
After passing all the regulatory requirements and training provided by them now two months gone, but still they are not letting me to go online.
I have emailed to them several times, sent messages to their Australian base as well and chat live with them several times with saved screenshots showing them how many times I tried to sort this out.
But still no response really disappointed and unprofessional service standards.

THANK YOU so much to the TWO Food Panda delivery drivers who arrived at my family's home address in one car for the flawlessly fast and friendly home delivery of the absolute delivery Springvale Gold Leaf restaurant food to us, my patents, sister and I are so grateful to them for that and for bringing our food to us perfectly in tact and piping hot! When they arrived, each driver took one bag full of takeaway food our and each handed it to me so carefully and courteously to me.
According to the receipts attached to the food, the order number was #6451 1118 and the order was paid for and placed at 7:14pm, arriving in such a timely fashion. Both delivery drivers were so nice and friendly.
My parents, sister and I can't thank these two absolutely amazing Hungry Panda delivery drivers enough for doing an absolutely incredible job delivering our food which was actually to celebrate my parents 45th wedding anniversary on 10/08/2025. These two delivery drivers deserve every reward and acknowledgement from Hungry Panda and all their customers, my family and I included. We are so grateful and honoured to them for the major part they played in making my parents 45th wedding anniversary celebration a tremendous success! Thank you so much to them and thank you so much for letting them know all I said, it's all deeply appreciated!
