I have always had HP and loved them

I have always had HP and loved them, until this printer, really bad experience trying to get wf enabled was a nightmare even though I had it done professionally, never worked properly interested end even hp gave up and replaced, replacement has been as bad every time you try to print wf disconnected and now the yellow ink tank has somehow leaked from underneath although its on a pull out shelf and never moved! Worst experience I've ever had and is only fit for the dustbin, I would never recommend this machine to anyone

Throwing my HP printer out

Throwing my HP printer out, bought HP ink from another company and it wont work until I subscribe to instant ink subscription service by HP, wasted best part of my day trying to print some documents for work and trying to get subscribed, why would you bother and give over your credit card details when they prevent you from buying ink from other HP cartridge suppliers. Got a complete refund by the company I bought the HP cartridges from thankfully. I am buying an Epsom printer!

What a bunch of crooks

What a bunch of crooks. Kept charging me a subscription but I never used the printer more than a few times. They never sent any ink because I didn't use any. But now the printer won't work because I cancelled the subscription. Doesn't say that on the box.

Not really sure if!

Not really sure if I should have given HP 5 stars instead of 3.

The hardware (printer) is fine and as long as you do not install any software from HP there are no problems with the printer. First start printer and make sure Wi-Fi is NOT turned on.

I connected it with USB to computer reinstalled Windows so no printer had ever been in it (WIN 10 pro) and unknown device was found. Told computer to install generic printer and the thing could print. Also found another unknown device and told computer to look for scanner and let Microsoft install a generic scanner and the thing could scan.
Only 600x600 where the printer should have been able to scan 1200x1200 but it could scan.
Printer quality was also OK.

Cartridges are almost as expensive as printer, so search and find out how to refill the things.
Shut down printer, disconnect USB, turn on printer, install one cartridge at a time and shut down printer. Connect USB and turn on printer and the refilled cartridges print as good as when they were new.

HP software is buggy and close to be called malware and spyware.

Never tell HP anything about your computer and they will not be able to block it and tell you to buy new cartridges.
They do not know you, and you do not bother HP with a 0 star review. They are not worse than the rest of the printer manufacturers.

If you are rich enough just get a Xerox that can print books and finish them, handle A3 or larger and print good pictures. For the astronomic amount that cost you get a Xerox service person every time you have problems (yes, even the big expensive ones have problems) and call, but believe me: It is expensive. It needs a room with only that printer in and it use so much electric power that it is unbelievable, plus: it is really big.

Stay away from HP.

It is impossible to contact their support by telephone.
This not all: I bought an extra service packet: 350Kr - Best2serve (must be a joke). They don´t answer calls either. And by mail: THEY ANSWERED 7 MONTHS LATER! that they cannot help and I must contact the normal support.
The HP Pavilion 27 inch All-in-One Desktop P model has serious issues - having dark screen too often.
If I had seen this page in Trustpilot, I has never bought  anything HP. Companies not answering complains should never be trusted.
Make yourself a favor and stay away from HP.

Corporate Greed!

HP updated the firmware on my laserjet printer, so that I can only use their extremely expensive ink cartridges. I am very unhappy about this example of corporate greed and if anyone wishes to start a class action in the UK against HP, I will willingly join.

I bought the HP spectre x360 three…

I bought the HP spectre x360 three years ago with HP protection. Within the first few months, the laptop began overheating and large fan noises. The temperature was so hot (100 degrees) that the laptop kept turning off.

After sending it back multiple times, the hard drive, fans etc have all been replaced and it is still faulty. As it was still functioning fine despite the fan noise, I kept for another 6 months as each time I’d have to erase all my files etc which is not ideal as a university student.

As the fan was getting louder, I decided to send it back yet again. This time they are claiming “pure misuse” as apparently there’s evidence of a water spillage. I have not spilled anything on it and even if something was spilled, the overheating problem existed before this.

It very disappointing to know they have sold me a faulty laptop from the beginning, especially as a student who has saved up to purchase this. I would not recommend this company, very dodgy and disappointing.

I would have expected better customer service and at least a replacement laptop considering the number of parts that have been replaced with no resolution to the problem.

GREAT EXPERIENCE

GREAT EXPERIENCE! HP actually pulled through with their warranty and despite a little delay they actually honoured they and did not blame the customer. They replaced my OMEN which was still under warranty and for the most part everything went smoothly. I come from dealing with ASUS warranty in the past which was a nightmare and a bunch of crooks who blame the customer and you're helpless. in contrast my first dealings with HP warranty went really well

WORST EXPERIENCE

WORST EXPERIENCE
I have had the instaink account for about 2 years now. I recently changed the tariff to higher price and paid the subscripotion fee, but forgot to cancel and downgrade for this month(upgrade/downgrade any time is their promise).
It's been 14 days that the new billing cycle started, BUT I haven't used any additional papers to print than the downgrade pack that I wanted to go for now, but still they are about to charge me for the whole month full upgraded price.
I requested via customer service call to avoid the 2nd month charges for a service tat was used once in a month that's charged already. HP are just adamant that they want to charge me twice for the service that I only used once, when I asked for the supervisor/manager in order to escalate my concerns, the agent reluctantly said tat there is no one.
This is a clear misleading of what their promise says. SO BEWARE IF YOU ARE ROPED IN TO BUYING THE INSTA INK packages.
I am going to stop using HP printer and cancel subscription soon.

I have called the customer service earlier couple of times but the service was excellent, and they listened to my requests. I am not sure what chamged all of a sudden.

Printer didn't work at all, and HP won't take it back

We bought an HP ENVY printer and installed it.
We printed out a test print and concluded that the printer doesn't work, because the print was not readable.
I tried to run diagnostics and calibration following the support guides. No difference.
I then tried creating a case at customer support, and I get "Manufacturer warranty has expired"

I then tried to return the product. However, HP doesn't want to take their products back without running a round of repair.
We waited a month, and got a notification that we could pick up the printer.
We showed up, and we got the message that HP had replaced the printer with a new one, because they couldn't fix the first one.
We brought home the new printer, plugged it in, and had the exact same problem.
HP still won't give us back the money.

HP Envy6000 - continual resets required

HP Envy6000 - Bought this after 8! years of great HP inkjet printer reliability. This "new" piece of kit print/scan was supposed to do the same - it can't.
every 2-3 prints it hangs up and always does fine after a power down / power up - SO irritating

Poor business ethics and customer service

Signed up to trustpilot specifically to write this review.

Ordered ink. Realised I ordered the wrong ink. Website said orders would be dispatched in I believe at least 5 days and cancellations to orders can only be requested before order is dispatched.
Put a cancellation request in straight after making the order. Never heard back from my request and conveniently my order was dispatched shortly after the request was made so it could not be cancelled.
No attempt at delivery of my parcel - nobody knocked at door or anything just got an email saying my parcel as at a local post office (didn't specify which either - wasn't the first one I tried!) but I could not go collect it as I had COVID at the time. By the time I could collect it, the post office had returned it back to HP.
Contacted HP. They agreed to send me a refund. Told me I would get the refund within 3-5 days of receiving credit note. It's been 8 working days since I received the credit note and I've still not had my refund.

Horrific company. Selling my HP printer so I never have to deal with them again.

I bought an omen laptop

I bought an omen laptop. I sent it back to the service because of the squeaking coils / high pitch noise (when the fans are on). 1 time they replaced the fan. 2 they replaced it again. 3 they replaced the motherboard (but I think thats a lie, because ethernet MAC didn't change at all). The problem never went away. I sent the laptop 4 times over a month ago and the laptop still hasn't come back. I feel robbed. No specific info, no contact. I'll take it to court.

bought a HP Envy 360 convertible laptop…

bought a HP Envy 360 convertible laptop for about £800. I thought it would be quality as I spent a lot of money, but BOY was I wrong. Within 6 months it fell to pieces one day. I heard a loud crack one day as I shut the screen and looked to see the hinge was entirely busted, with metal showing through. Curry's PC world had told me the 1 year insurance would cover accidental damage. I remember asking if I spilled coffee over it if it was covered - they said yes. My father asked if he backed a car over it, is it covered? - they said yes.

I called HP to let them know that the corner of the screen was busted and they said they were pretty sure that wasnt covered, but to send it over anyways. My friend had a similar fault on a laptop before, so I knew that if the laptop was closed, it would break entirely. Therefore, I sent it to them in an open position in the box, with a not ontop stating "if sent back unfixed, DO NOT CLOSE the laptop. This will destroy it entirely".

Low and behold, the laptop was sent back unfixed, and SHUT with my note stating not to do so ontop :)
When I opened it, a huge crack shot across the whole screen. On the phone, I Was told that I MUST have caused the damage myself, by placing something on the laptop, or dropping it etc (not that this should matter anyways, as I was told this was covered by the 1 year initial insurance by Curry's PC World).

As I did more research, I found that this problem is COMMON with this £800 laptop - that one day it FALLS APART when you simply close it, AND that YOU will be blamed when their product isnt up to scratch... they probably make them shobby to make more money from you.

I ended up making an online friend who makes/fixes laptops very competently - this friend fixed it for me for cheap, and its been ok so far but I am scared everyday it will fall apart in some other way. This experienced friend even stated that they HATE HP (yes, this man who makes his money from computers, HATES HP)

All in all, a gut wrenching, nerve-wracking, and soul destroying experience. Will surely NEVER buy another HP product again in my life, and will tell all of my friends.
