I visit Howdens pretty much every other week, and I honestly can’t fault the service. Sonia always looks after me when I’m there, and she’s genuinely amazing—always welcoming, friendly, and really goes out of her way to help.

I had a problem with a short run of drainage where the cover was damaged. Generally, this is sold as a complete kit of the duct and the cover together. However, Howdens were able to find me a small offcut of the cover only that was just the size I needed. I really appreciated this level of personal service.

If I could give ZERO stars I would.
The kitchen that was installed in my house was vinyl wrapped chip board.
Within 6mths the Vinyl has already started peeling.
It’s an absolute mess, I’ve now contacted trading standards, when you purchase a kitchen you would expect it to last more than 6mths.
They do a fantastic job of removing negative reviews including my last one.
If your after quality, lasting kitchen Howdens isn’t the one for you!

We have had the most positive experience in the design of our new kitchen with Dawn from Howdens in Harrogate. I didn’t realise how difficult the decisions would be with regard to the type, colour and finish of the units and worktop styles and types. This, combined with my desire to increase the number of cabinets and the amount of worktop space to suit my cooking and food preparation seemed daunting initially. Following this, more decisions necessary regarding appliances that would best suit our needs. This involved returning the drawing board several times but we were always welcomed back to discuss, re-vamp etc and Dawn remained patient and helpful throughout until, with her help and that of our equally amazing fitter Peter and his superb team of electrician, plumber, decorator, plasterer etc we made our final decision.
I could not recommend her expertise more highly and am absolutely delighted with our new kitchen.

Howdens have always been really helpful with any project and always go the extra mile. This time they have been short staffed on kitchen designers and Fran the manager has stepped in and done a superb job despite having all his other responsibilities to look after. As always grateful for the help everyone at the Harrogate branch offers.

To be totally honest l find that the staff in general at Harrogate Howdens are always,helpful,supportive and very responsive to my customer needs. I feel very welcomed and more often than not the staff will always "Go the extra mile" making sure my needs are met and I can go away confident l have all l need to carryout my work as a self employed joiner keeping my customers happy,whilst knowing l have the reliability of a great product from Howdens.

Speaking from a tradesman's point of view, Howdens, Claro Rd branch is by far the best of the bunch.
I've been installing Howdens kitchens and bedroom for more than 10 years and Claro Rd has been my go-to depot.
The Staff are amazing, some I have known for 8 yrs or more.
I can't fault.
Special mention to Martha and Sonia, Simon the designer and Bob in the warehouse.

I recently visited the store to enquire about some vinyl flooring. Sonya was absolutely wonderful. She greeted me with a warm cheerful attitude and was very polite throughout our interaction and even offered me a cup of coffee. She took the time to listen to what I needed and gave me genuine helpful advice that made it easier for me to decide what to get. Her friendly and knowledgeable approach made the whole experience a pleasure. Great customer service Sonya. I will definitely be returning and recommending your branch.

We recently renewed our kitchen using Howdens to design and supply our final choice. Final, in that Simon King the designer patiently worked through various designs until we were totally happy. And we are! Really pleased with the service throughout.

We had a few quotes from other local companies but Simon was the only designer who actually listened to our needs and wants, and offered great design advice.
Very good quality product at a realistic price.
We are absolutely delighted with the finish product.
