Very poor in every aspect !! Still waiting for a refund for something I got to sign into unwillingly

We have been Houzz Pro members since 2017.
While at first, there was fantastic value for money, our experience has degraded significantly over the last few years.

In the beginning, Houzz offered exceptional visibility and relevant leads, making membership a truly worthwhile investment.

However, in recent years, the platform's value has steadily declined. Even though we pay more than £4,200 each year for our Houzz Pro package, most of the leads we currently receive are of low quality and poorly aligned with our needs, to foster an illusion of engagement without providing any genuine advantage.

The support is also disappointing.
For example, our account manager has not responded to support emails for over two months now, and escalations through Houzz Support have done nothing to fix the problem.

Houzz further referred us to a "manager's manager," but we never heard from them either.

Houzz has recently been focusing on promoting its project management system—a tool that might be helpful for smaller design firms or smaller contractors without an established system - which at the same time are usually companies that can't afford to start with Houzz premium prices.

However, as a construction company with complex project needs, we find the Houzz management system to lack in many key areas, such as:

System Speed:
The interface is painfully slow. Even simple tasks, such as responding to clients, can take over a minute due to too-long loading times in multiple fields.

Ease of use:
The platform, in trying to handle the needs of the designers, architects, and builders, has turned out very complicated and difficult to navigate.
This, of course, would result in slow performance.

Due to these problems and headaches, we have chosen to remain with our current systems, as only we know what works the best for our company system and selling, despite Houzz sellers selling the sunset.

However, we find ourselves constrained by a 12-month contract that renews automatically without notice or shout-out, if you won't cancel it 1 month before the contract ends - Which you of course miss because you find yourself busy working outside of the Houzz management system.

In short,
The best Houzz advantage is a great platform for presenting projects, which everyone can do on their platform for free without spending any money.

Investing in Houzz Pro,
Has not delivered on its promises outside of the free Version.

The leads generated are not justified by the sizeable financial investment, and other advertising platforms deliver similar, if not better, results for the same cost.

Grant was extremely helpful and getting us the package we needed to serve the businesses needs very efficient even after the fact when we had some follow-up issues he got to them quickly and had them resolved following it through

Under the guidance of my account manager Stephanie, I have recently discovered how to use all the Houzz pro tools. This has definitely been a game changer for me. It's very easy to use and not too techy.
I love working with the House pro tools and it looks very professional. Highly recommend.

Joe has been very attentive and strategic as our dedicated support from Houzz. He's also a very pleasant guy to deal with and keeps a great level of energy around our meetings. .

This is such a great idea - a place for home owners to design and come up with ideas for improving their home collaborating with designers and design ideas.

HOWEVER - the user ability of the website and apps is dreadful - ill thought out and quick frankly painful.

Here are some examples:
- user interface on web keep reloading - meaning you lose any information
- web pages are ill designed and poor to find out what you want to do - for example you have 3 different locations on the page to change an ideas book settings - 1 - the settings - 2 add invites - 3 3 dots to organise - WHY WHY WHY have these all separated - it makes no sense

whey trying to add a valid user name to collaborate - keep getting - error please enter valid user name - IT IS A VALID USER - i already collaborate for them

When trying to copy the user id from another idea book - I cannot - you have disabled the select function on the list of user !!! - instead of making adding collaborators to multiple idea books easier - you have made it harder - why not just give users a dropdown with users they already collaborate with on other idea books - !!!!

it is so full of annoyances and bugs and poor inefficient page design it is frustrating and painful to use. instead of being a fun and enjoyable place to plan new ideas it is just frustrating and a pain

if you want to add a product from another website - i.e. copy the image, add some notes, include URL of where you found this - it takes over 5 minutes

looking for an alternative as this is terrible

I had a really thorough and productive demonstration with said he was very informative and was open to answering any questions that i had. We finally went ahead with it in april and it has already paid itself off

Tali has always been very polite and knowledgeable. Patient and helpful she is a credit to the company.

Great site, easy to use and navigate, filled with inspirational designs.

She was great with providing the right guidance and listening to my problems and patiently finding solutions. I am very please with her service.

I rarely write negative reviews, but my experience with Houzz has caused me so much stress that I feel compelled to warn fellow designers and creatives—don’t fall for their sales pitch! I paid nearly £7,000 for a year and didn’t get a single successful lead. When I complained, I was passed to a senior sales manager, who lacked any empathy or understanding to address the situation. I went into the meeting thinking we will have a strategy for my business on the platform, but she only made matters worse and instead of helping, I got another sales pitch. I was losing £540 every month without any positive outcome. Houzz claims to be the largest platform, and while that might have been true in the past, it’s outdated and misleading. Like many others on Trustpilot, I regret trusting their empty promises. My account manager was supportive throughout my time with them, but there’s only so much she could’ve done. They offered me a % off of my monthly payments but that was still £436 a month, without any leads or profit coming in.

I was trying to get in touch with someone for two weeks to cancel the subscription to avoid auto-renewal, but they were not responding. They responded this week confirming a cancellation.

This platform could work for some, and not for others. But my advice is to avoid Houzz and invest your money elsewhere—Meta marketing, or anywhere that actually delivers.

Horrible experience. Not a single lead in a year on the pro subscription and now having trouble ending the subscription with no response from the company.

Biggest scam, do not fall for this. There is no way to opt out, without legal actions. It’s a pointless service with no benefits, soon as the sales pitch is done, you will not hear from Houzz.

Sheila is always very helpful. She quickly interprets the situation and tries to provide the best possible advice.

Scam houzz really I been register with Houzz before signing the contract the lady been so nice from the signing the contract no one responded really scam

I previously left a review because houzz.help was unresponsive to my issues. They responsed to the trust pilot review to say please contact Houzz help. There is no customer service with this company and these responses are clearly automated. Stay clear is my advise.
