Awful Service .

Awful Service .. stay away!

I have placed 2 orders with HOH and on both occasions I didn't receive my order. Contacting them was only available through their webpage contact form to which you cannot respond to once they eventually reply so you have to repeat this process forever to try and get a resolution!
I'm still waiting for my order/refund from early March.
Clearly this company have no idea how to run a business or deal with customer support.
Awful service received yet again... You dont even deserve the 1 star!

Customer Service is Non-Existent

PayPal are now disputing the money taken for both orders.

Ordered on 1st January and 3rd January. Received an email on the 3rd stating orders have been 'Acknowledged'. No more notifications since.

Have noticed items ordered are now 'Out of Stock' and one is now 'Not available on this site'.

Emailed 'Customer Service', received response back after more chaser emails to be told that it takes 2 days to respond to emails and it is pointless sending multiple chaser emails as it 'slows down' the process apparently. Well its been more than two days and still nothing.

Have heard nothing more, orders have yet to be cancelled. I didn't want to hold my breath for a Refund through them based off other Reviews so I contacted PayPal and they said I would be awarded my money in 10 days.

I have never experience such a lack of Customer Service, no notifications to let the customer know items are no longer available. They couldn't take my money fast enough but since it left my bank I've heard nothing from them.

This company won't last, it will fail and cease trading soon as it can't keep customers.

I ended up ordering similar items from YS4U Candles who shipped next day and notified me.

Odd packaging!

Odd packaging! I was rather surprised at the choice of packaging for the Yankee Candle advent calendar which was a gift for a friend. It arrived in a pizza box!!! Thankfully she has a sense of humour. The order did however arrive promptly.

Unreliable webshop

Most reviews I've read about House Of Harris seem to be about their retail shop and are positive. Ordering from their website seems to be a very different experience. I ordered some candles as a present five days ago and received an order confirmation saying that payment had been received and I would get another e-mail when the goods were dispatched.
I tried to call them today to find out if the order had been dispatched, but no one answered. I sent an e-mail instead. I got an unapologetic response from Naomi telling me that Paypal had not sent them payment confirmation so the order.was on hold. I assume that if that had been the case then House Of Harris would not have sent me a confirmation e-mail saying that payment had been received.
Naomi asked me if I wanted to proceed with the order as she could see that I had paid. I replied, saying that this would be fine if the order would be delivered by Tuesday. No answer. I tried phoning again- several times but the phone went to answer phone most times and was picked up and put down a couple of times.
I sent more e-mail messages and eventually got another message from Naomi telling me that she could not promise delivery by Tuesday.
I've cancelled the order (fingers crossed) and brought them from a more reliable and much cheaper source- Amazon. I did have to pay loads for postage though as I needed them so quickly.
