From start to finish

From start to finish, the entire experience was easy to navigate and process. Communication was easy and felt more personal compared to the “middle man” always being there experience we have had with the other rental sites.

Houfy Feedback

Whenever a guest clicks on my calendar, they aren’t able to select their preferred dates. Instead, it should prompt them with a clear message that a 30-day minimum stay is required. Right now, guests have to contact me to figure out why they can’t book, and then I have to troubleshoot the issue. Ideally, the system should automatically show the 30-day minimum when dates aren’t available for shorter stays.

Additionally, the system did not prompt guests to pay for their booking. On the backend, I had to Google how to send a payment request, and the button to do this was very hard to find. It looks like plain text, the same as everything else on the page. This button needs to be clearly highlighted and styled as an actual button so hosts can quickly recognize and use it.

It would also be helpful if the payment request link auto-populated in the confirmation email. For example, when we receive a booking request, the email should include a “Send Payment Request” button that we can click directly.

Finally, if there’s a way to fully automate data transfer when connecting our Airbnb account to Houfy, rather than only transferring some information, that would be ideal.

Other than these issues, the website looks very nice.

David's house

I was at David's house for a year, he was one of the best I have rented from, I'm a traveling x-ray tech, so when I came home he'd water my plants for me, even when I was there if I needed anything, he would bring it over, when you are away from family and home , small acts of kindness matter , the town has a lot of things to do,I found the people to be so friendly, and I made some life long friends,not to mention the beautiful scenery all around me, I would definitely stay at one of his houses again!

First Booking after a year on the site

Great to receive our first booking with Houfy. The experience went very well. The only thing was a long delay for the first Stripe payment which was not received until the guest had left. I believe that payments should now be quicker for the second booking so not really an issue. Look forward to receiving more direct bookings from your site.

The Houfy site is very user friendly

The Houfy site is very user friendly. The rentals listed have been accurately depicted. Communication with Houfy and the host are efficient. When looking for a home rental I always start with Houfy.

Easy Booking & Great Owner Experience

Booking through Houfy was incredibly simple and straightforward. Working directly with the property owner made the process even better—the communication was fast, friendly, and professional. We also appreciated being able to save on booking fees compared to other platforms. Overall, it was a smooth and pleasant experience, and I would definitely use their service again.

Best Vacation Spot Ever

This house is AMAZING! We've booked here several years in a row now. It is the perfect location- close to restaurants, bars, grocery stores, shopping, and activities but far enough away that is is peaceful. relaxed, and a perfect place to relax. My favorite spot after a day at the beach or in the pool is in the hammock! The hosts are kind, accommodating and there is everything you need there!
