Thank you for your review. I am really sorry you got caught by customs. We do what we can to mark items in such a way that they will not be subject to fees, but we have no control over the customs departments in a country.
All our Canadian orders are shipped from our UK warehouse. I can see you paid for Express Shipping, which gets your order to you in up to 8 days, but as stated on the shipping page of our website "orders outside of the United States, United Kingdom and Australia may be subject to certain import customs, duties, and taxes imposed by your country upon delivery."
These charges are import duties being levied by your government, and are not something we can change. We also have no idea how these charges are worked out, or what they may be, that is up to your customs department.
Again, I am sorry for your disappointment.

Thank you for your review. I am sorry your SOLO Essential developed a fault. We do offer a 12 month warranty on our products, and you mentioned receiving bad service but I can't see any contact from you regarding this. I apologise if our warranty procedure wasn't made clear.

Great when it works
When it works, it's fantastic. Shuts down the brain like no other toy I've tried. However, I frequently have issues with the device when using rechargeable batteries. I've tried two different brands, and both fit poorly in the device. It's molded too narrow in the battery compartment, so the batteries don't make good/full connection with the contacts. Need to give a little more space for rechargeables, which are a must for this device (it eats batteries like candy).

I had a second problem…!
After getting a faulty charging cable replaced, I was reluctant to contact customer support for a second time. But the solo lux I purchased was really not functioning correctly so I sent an email to Cheryl in support who had helped me before.
Not only did she listen to a whole lot of context and backstory about me and why i was upset but she sent me links to training videos, a questionnaire to diagnose the problem and once it was clear there was a real malfunction she immediately escalated the issue to her manager.
Less than two days later a replacement unit was sitting outside my door. No charges for restocking or shipping or questions asked. Just boom - here you go.
nice to interact with a company that genuinely cares about their customers and extra credit for
having a human on the other end of the line and not some AI chat bot.
I’ll definitely be getting some more products from these guys soon.

I got the pulse toy, absolutely love it! Me and my boyfriend had a lot of fun with it, it comes with a controller and a tiny screw to change the batteries. It’s both good for solo play and to use together. If you are looking for a new way to spicy it up in the bedroom this is your best choice. Theres also couple bundles available on the website I would definitely give it a try! Very good quality, the material fells soft and its super easy to clean as its waterproof. I recommend it to everyone it might fit! 💗

5 Stars – Aura was an absolute gem!
Had to reach out about a warranty for a product that, let’s be real, could’ve been super awkward to talk about. But from the first message, Aura made the whole experience feel totally normal.
She was kind, understanding, and honestly just so easy to talk to. Super knowledgeable and never once made me feel uncomfortable – half the time I forgot we were even talking about a sex toy. That’s how smooth and professional she was.
Whatever you're paying Aura, it’s not enough. She’s truly top-tier. Give this woman a raise, a promotion, something!
