I traveled to 60+ countries, never had worse experience!

When they say "your booking is confirmed" it means "you have a very little change you would actually get what you booked". So go ahead, and plan your family vacation - flights and all... then a couple of weeks later, you'll get an email that "due to unforseen circumstances" your hotel is unavailable, so we put you up in a different hotel... which was MUCH worse than the one you booked, and easily $100/night cheaper to start. Well, it's not due to "unforseen circumstances", it's due to gross incompetence or premeditated bait-and-switch tactics. DO NOT BOOK with these people, they are COMPLETELY INCOMPETENT or maybe just liars...

ADDED AS RESPONSE to their comment: So then how was the SAME hotel able to confirm my booking when I used a different (i.e. more competent) website. Same hotel, same dates... maybe magic?

No confirmation / voucher received

I booked a hotel in Ljubljana and did not receive a confirmation email automatically as I normally would with any other booking site like booking.com

I decided to start to investigate and found out a lot of customers complain. My mistake was I booked it using my credit card and not via paypal. Does anyone know if credit card companies will refund money due to illegitimacy of the site hotelsclick.com?

I’m concerned the hotelsclick.com will not provide me with any kind of confirmation for the hotel I booked and will not refund my money.

I just had to edit my rating. Above review was immediately done after booking a hotel with hotels click. It took them awhile to respond to my hotel booking. They did respond after 12 hours. After getting the confirmation email from them, I emailed the hotel as well just to make sure, and hotel said that I got the confirmation.

I analyzed that maybe hotelsclick is a travel agency and operates only during business hours (venice time). If you book your hotel out of this time, you can only expect a response during business hours. And then they will have to coordinate with the hotel to see if there's an availability, etc. That's how they work I suppose, thus some problems arised with other customers. IF this is how they work, then they should inform customers regarding this on their website so that customers will not assume that they operate like booking.com, agoda or hotels.com wherein you get instant confirmation upon payment.

Great service!

At first I was a little skeptical as the price was so much lower than any other site,... about $400. But we received the most amazing swim out room at Secrets Maroma and Hotelsclick did a fabulous job of making that happen for such a great price! Thanks, and we will be back!

Never Again!

As other reviews tell you they offer hotel prices which are too good to be true. You get an instant confirmation but 2 weeks later are told the hotel has not accepted the reservation. I was offered another hotel for no extra charge... problem was the other hotel was a few hundred dollars cheaper for same dates on other sites!!!

I have to be honest

I have to be honest. Reading these negative reviews where your reservation is cancelled at the last minute made me feel extremly nervous. However, my experience could not have gone more smooth and pleasant. They upgraded my room from a single to a double at my request with no problems. I was charged for the whole price of the double room instead of just the difference.....so i got a full refund of the first room with no problems. The check in at the hotel was efficient and with no problems. The Hotel itself was lovely.....clean, good location and we also had the windows directly on Russell Square.....lovely view ! Thank you very much for a lovely stay in London ☺

Be careful

Be careful! As other reviews tell you they offer hotel prices which are too good to be true. The problem is, you have to pay first before they tell you that the hotel is not available. They indeed give you back the money if they can not help you to find another hotel. But the rates are changing all the time which means that you lose money in the end with international transactions.

Offered a very attractive price for…

Offered a very attractive price for Dubai hotel.
Such a malarkey asking for photos of identification which apparently are only asked ‘randomly’ of their customers. Reading the reviews it seems plenty of people have been asked the same thing.
Was informed not too long after the booking was made that hotel room was not available ( surprise surprise- wish I had read the reviews here first)
Offered me other hotels which were not nearly as good value.
I requested to cancel, they had one more attempt to keep me as their customer , and then second time of asking to cancel they agreed. Money had been taken from credit card but was refunded immediately it seems.
Frustrating. Similar thing happened through another lesser known website . Eventually spent more and went through reputable website. So much more simple and less stressful

We are sorry about what happened, the system detected a mismatching between your details and the details of the transaction, we required a photo of your information in order to prove that you are the owner of the credit card and you authorize the transaction and this is not a fraud. We do that to prevent frauds and to protect our customers.

Unfortunately the reservation couldn't be confirmed. Rates and availabilities change very fast, it could be that while your reservation was blocked in the system for the security check, the hotel/agency updated rates and availabilities.

We sent you an e mail with some alternative hotels that we could try to reserve for you but as per your email you were not interested so we cancelled the reservation and we made the full refund.

I called up asking a simple question. I wanted to know the cost if I cancelled my booking. They wanted my booking reference so I gave it. They gave me the cancellation penalties. So far so good? No!!! I then get a cancellation email . They have cancelled my families entire accommodation paid for 6 months ago. I tell them they have made a mistake I only asked a question I did not cancel my booking. They just said too late it is done, we can't help you. I am furious
Do not use this web site the staff obviously do not understand a simple question. My children are gutted my family is gutted. And hotelsclick do not care one bit. Disgusting

They had good prices so booked with…

They had good prices so booked with them.
There was a problem with my credit card, called the bank and all was arranged. Then called hotelsclick.com, kept on hold for 18 minutes, and the line was awful couldn’t hear or understand anything. Called them later, reply was quicker but again could not hear and hardly understood. Anyway they told me to retry paying again, tried till next day and site could not process payment even though I emptied cache, changed browser etc.
Then I get an email from a Ms Nicoletta advising that payment could not go through and if they want me to book. I immediately sent a reply around 13:30 to please do. At 17:30 I resent the mail. Today at 16:00 still no answer. Booked at booking.com, all confirmed within 5 minutes.
That was my experience and will pass in future.
By the way Booking.com was 100 euros more for 9 nights.

unfortunately the reservation is alredy inside penalty and it is necessary to make the payment in order to create the booking.
We can't make the reservaiton without the payment.
We send you an email to check with you what are the options to make the booking with as the check in is quite close and all the rates we have are non refundable.

No confirmation for hotel

Hi,
I booked a hotel in South Beach Miami tonight and did not receive a confirmation email automatically as I normally would with any other booking site like Expedia etc. I decided to start investigating this company a little bit more found a lot of customers complaining about the legitimacy of the site, to my dismay. I booked through the hotels click.com site but paid via PayPal. Has anyone experienced PayPal refunding money after trying to cancel your reservation due to the illegitimacy of the site hotelsclick.com ? I’m concerned the booking.com will not provide me with any kind of confirmation for the hotel I booked and will not refund my money. Also TripAvisor needs to remove them immediately as an option.

Worst web ever ...

Worst web ever ...
They take your money , give you booking code , then a couple of days before , they’ll tell you “sorry the hotel is over booked “ then they will give you cheap choices ( worth half the amount they took from you )
They cost me $1250.00 bc they left me hanging to the last minute
Book work anyone else but them

Clearly misleading site on the booking description of the hotel

Your site clearly misled me to book a room that finally was other than the one you presented and implied. The way you handled all the matter from the customer care was a joke. One day you said one thing, the next day another and the third day another. Every time you changed your point in regards with my answers that clearly showed your wrong doing..
All the way that you handled the reservation was with the intend to clearly fool the customer. I regred booking with you and I will never again do any booking with you, in the future. I am really stunned to see such a misleading concept in 2018! I am a customer of Booking.com for many-many years and I never had any misleading booking or any not satisfactory behavior.

Completely unacceptable behavior from you side.

We used hotels click for the first time this last trip and found the staff on the phone to be very helpful and communicative. The trip was great value much cheaper than any other site. Definitely will be using this company when we travel which is often.
