Cherry saved my stress!

Cherry was a very helpful representative. I thought I lost my whole business site, but she was able to get it back for me! Phew! I recommend Host Papa. I'm a recent transfer to their service, and I find it to be a great one.

If I Could Give A Zero That Would Still Be Too High

An "Account Manager" told me I needed more storage and threatened that my email would be defaulted if I did not. He offered the option to "migrate" it to a Microsoft 365 account with more storage. He said it would be a simple matter of migrating the emails which would be done outside of business hours, would not effect my incoming emails and would be done quickly. Turns out, they did the migration this morning during business hours, my email service stopped completely shortly after they started and it has been down ever since. This is the same company who "migrated" my e-mail account when they took over Junpline and said it would be quick and painless. Took two days for them to fix that one. My email has now been down the entire day and all I get are some email messages from a "product specialist" who writes like he just flunked third grade English. Evidently Host Papa "product specialists" are too good to pick up the phone and try to work with the paying customers. To top it off, my email is still not working and all Host Papa can say is that they will write another ticket. Bet it is going to be more than 2 days on this one. Worst customer service ever.

Hostpapa has a wonderful 24 hour live…

Hostpapa has a wonderful 24 hour live chat line with real people that are very helpful and if they can not help you right then and there, they put you in touch with people that can. I have been trying to update my website with a new website designer that encountered many problems and Hostpapa provided all the info required to get the job completed.

Don't use HostPapa...ever...

I've been with HostPapa for a while. Ive never missed a payment. This time even though my billing was due March 22, they went ahead and took their payment out beginning of March ahead of time. They told me it was standard practice in case people failed to pay on time and it would take too long to set the domain up again. I never missed a payment and had no intention of letting the domain go so yeah, this is the last time and I'll be dumping them next year. What if they did that to someone and caused cheques to bounce? Just dipping in your account because they are afraid of people not paying them. That is retarded and greedy. Like I said, never missed a payment and they did this to me.

Update: No I'm not going to put my invoice number and stuff here Hostpapa, but email me privately. All your customer service guy would offer was to cancel it, which I couldn't because I still need to use those email addresses to my domain. My domain is NIKANIT.CA.

I severely doubt you guys will do anything. Just plain wrong to take your money out earlier.

The best you guys can do is stop taking your money out earlier than what the invoice says

Thank you for providing your domain name. We were able to locate your account and confirm the situation.

I would like to clarify how our renewal process works. This process is not in place out of concern that customers may not pay, nor is it motivated by greed or anything of that nature.

For all active HostPapa services, our system sends a renewal reminder by email 30 days before the renewal date. This notification is sent to the primary email address associated with your HostPapa account, giving you enough time to decide whether you would like to continue the service.

Each service is then invoiced 15 days before its renewal date, and an additional email notification is sent at that time. If the service is set to renew automatically and there is a valid payment method on file, our system will attempt to process the renewal payment using that payment method to avoid any down time for our customers.

Please also note that some of our services include a money-back guarantee. This applies not only to new purchases, but also to renewals. You can review the full list of eligible services in our Terms of Service here: www.hostpapa.ca/terms/cancellation

We're truly sorry for any troubles you've experienced however, this entire process is also outlined in the Terms of Service agreed to at the time of sign-up.

I tried two other providers and they were user unfriendly. Host Papa is extremely user friendly. I am an old boomber and this is my first website. No tears of frustration, no bad words just the pleasure of accomplishment and raised self esteem. Thanks Host Papa.

Lucas was the first person in over 15…

Lucas was the first person in over 15 people to help me with my problem. Everyone else said they fixed it and would be up and running in 4 to 6 hours. That didn’t happen. Others escalated it to the next level and I was to wait for an email. That didn’t happen either ?!?
