Worse moving experience of my life

Worse moving experience of my life. Had to spend three days homeless. I supplied for so much information but they were so slow and I was on hold when calling good lord for like more than an hour. Furthermore, provided too much information and still did not get the keys! Absolutely unforgivable, hell is a special place for HomeHub Southampton

Shocking!!.

My friend was looking for a flat, and upon viewing it, he mentioned to the the agent a couple of things that he wanted to alter. These being removing the bed (because its fully furnished and he had his own),and also to fix the bathroom lock as it was broken.

The agent took time and responded via email about the two issues. He stated that the landlord would be happy to remove the bed but not replace the lock and that for a COMMUNAL BATHROOM, he was too ‘just use a screwdriver or something to lock the door’, worded to exactly that way.
You do not tell a prospective tennant that they should ‘use a screwdriver or something to lock a door’.
They are paying you money to live in the accomodation that you are providing and you will not replace a basic lock?.
For an estate agent to even deem this as an acceptable way for a landlord to treat a possible tennant is beyond me!. Deffinately lost a letting here!.
Disgraceful!.

Never felt so disrespected and exploited

This company will completely take advantage of you if you are a young person living alone for the first time.
God Forbid you actually ever have to make a formal complaint with them, because not only will it get completely disregarded but they will leave you in a house that is completely uninhabitable during the winter and not do anything to help the situation, even though it is there responsibility to make it habitable. And when they finally do fix the situation not so much as a sorry for the inconvenience.
If you are young with any illness/ young children/ vulnerabilities i would not recommend Homehub as they will leave you in situation that could affect both your health and your finances, but they'll also make you seem like a terrible person for being unhappy about the situation.
They made such a good first impression but as soon as they have trapped you in a contract they couldn't care less about the property.
