Caulk Tube quality very poor
Caulk Tube quality very poor, multiple times I've purchased from many locations and the tube pops out the back. Quality needs to be checked.
Impossible to shop online
Unfortunately I quit shopping at Home Depot online because both the website and the application are nearly impossible to use. They're so extremely slow and the search is useless. I don't know how long you're going to wait before they actually get some programs that can fix this application and the website. I know I'm not the only one that is complained I've read hundreds and hundreds and there's probably more of unhappy past customers. Count me as a past customer
These guys have been constantly rude to…
These guys have been constantly rude to me and I'm just trying to give them my money. All I want is to have my back door replaced. First they don't show up. Secondly when they do, they are just plain mean. I realize that my home is in disrepair, but the level of condensation is uneessaccy. Then the guy who calls me asked, so what door do you want? I'm like I don't know, what are my options? He says well it seems pretty standard. I asked where I can view my options. He says, hey, you need a custom door, why don't I make a bunch of custom doors for you and you can pick the one you want and starts laughing. It's been very traumatic. Don't give them your business.
I ordered a Costway Dehumidifier and purchased extended warranty in good faith.
I ordered a Costway Dehumidifier in July 2025 from the Depot. Purchased an extended warranty from AllState also known as Allsquare at time of purchase. Unit arrived on the 31st of July and worked until May of 2026 - quit working properly and claim process initiated was underwhelming. All square sent me to Costway regarding warranty claim despite the 90 day warranty embedded in the Depot’s literature. Back and forth with both resulting in approved claim to seek repair services with Allsqaure but none available and neither manufacturer or AllSquare offer authorized repair providers near me. Unless you live near an authorized repair service then I recommend you buy another brand from a reputable dealer. Who selects products to sell for profit from a vendor/manufacturer that has no interest or capacity to support their products. Well that would be the Georgia peaches that crawled into bed with Costway. Don’t take my word for it look at all the Costway products on the Home Depot site and check mfr warranty periods. Buyers beware - Home Depot corporate could care less.
Home Depot Sells Defective A/Cs
I bought an air conditioner, Vissani, and it doesn't work. I attempted to return it after the 7 day policy was up, and was rudely declined. I was not available to install the AC till around the 6'th day of having it. I gave 2 full days and verified that the product was defective.
I was directed toward the manufacturer of the AC, which is a GE product. Their customer support gave me a case #. When I went to follow up 3 days following, they hung up on me.
My experience has been spread around. Home Depot has lost some business based on my experience. You lost me as a customer forever.
Do not waste your money on a CostWay…
Do not waste your money on a CostWay mini split system sold by Home Depo. They will charge you for the unit. They will charge you for delivery of the unit. It is advertised as a DYI installation, but the installation instructions direct that you pay for professional installer. The unit ultimately will not have any coolant in it, although it is falsely advertised as being "pre-charged". When you call for customer service help, Home Depo will give you an incorrect number. When you Google the number yourself, a non-English person will claim to send you a troubleshooting guide via email. It will never be received. Meanwhile, you paid for an a/c unit that doesn't cool; a heating unit that doesn't heat, and paid two professionals to make a completely defective unit do what you paid it to do---yet it doesn't. Don't shop Home Depo.
I was recently at Home Depot in Apex…
I was recently at Home Depot in Apex NC. I needed help with the purchase of bricks. A very nice, helpful sales person, Gianna walked me over to where the bricks are and asked another nice, helpful sales person to help me. Gianna stayed with me while the other sales person, I do not know his name but he was in lumber, got the bricks down and he and Gianna placed the bricks into a cart. After all 39 bricks were loaded into a cart, I was using a scooter cart, Gianna pushed the cart to the cashier where I paid. She then placed all the bricks in my trunk. Thank you so much to these 2 sales people who helped me today.
Damaged Item
I am extremely disappointed with my recent experience.
I waited two weeks for my refrigerator to be delivered today, only to find that the glass shelves were damaged upon arrival.
The delivery driver mentioned that they had already encountered a similar issue earlier in the day, where another customer had unloaded all their food and removed their old refrigerator—only to have to bring it back when the new unit was found to be defective. This suggests a recurring problem, potentially during packaging at the manufacturing plant or during the shipping process. Experiencing multiple incidents like this in a single day is concerning and points to a broader quality control issue.
As a result, I now have to wait until July 2nd for a replacement, and the response I received from Home Depot was simply an apology.
Given the circumstances, this is not an adequate resolution. If I were not constrained by the use of a gift card, I would go another route.
This situation has been highly inconvenient and frustrating. I hope Home Depot will take this feedback seriously and implement measures to improve product handling and customer service resolutions.
Today is June 11th
Today is June 11th, I've been trying to buy an air conditioner since May 19th, they lost two orders, Fedex, their delivery service yesterday could not find the delivery address, today they are supposed to make delivery, we'll see. From now on HomeDepot will not be my first source for purchases. Update, they report that the air conditioner has been delivered, it has not. Called HomeDepot, they have agreed to giving me a refund. So, that is the end of this story, HomeDepot is a poor company to deal with, it feels like HomeDepot is a dying company, they such a poor company, it seems they are committing suicide. By the way, Fedex reports that they delivered the package, they did not, they say they got a signature from the recipient, looks like someone, somewhere got a free air conditioner.
Om nom nom Janska 8 burner gas griddle
We just recently ordered a Janska Professional 48inch 8 burner with griddle double gas range in stainless steel eith gold knobs and handle. The delivery guy was outstanding and kind and helpful. The conversion from electric to gas enhances our fine dining taste. The silver and gold accentuates our urban kitchen. It tastes like cheese when you kiss the silver and it taste like bacon when you kiss the gold! This company is on another level that has ascended to heaven bc our taste buds were so delighted. om nom nom.
Failed second chance
After avoiding hd for three years due to significant issues I decided to give them another try. This time the store that I order from, by phone, never delivered the items. The store could only say they can’t do anything and gave me a phone number as my only option. I called it and talked with a good, professional agent with some knowledge. However I still could not get the items because they would now have to charge me 1.5 times the price of the items to get them delivered. I’m a housebound senior citizen and no longer a customer.
Awful delivery
I ordered a refrigerator and a dishwasher. The person delivering was rude and the fridge was dented so they took both back. They set a date to deliver new ones and the drivers never came. Had to empty the refrigerator twice and take two days off of work and still have no refrigerator.
Just didn't understand why the cashier…
Just didn't understand why the cashier that didn't help me have to be so rude.. never shopping they again

Incorrect Item Delivered and Multiple Shipping Delays
As a brand new Home Depot customer, I am extremely dissatisfied with the quality of service that I received. The delivery of my new fridge was rescheduled 4 times for various reasons.
For the first delivery attempt on Wednesday June 3rd, the wrong item was delivered and the delivery was rescheduled for June 4th.
It’s also worth noting that after the first delivery attempt, I was unable to track my order or see any updated delivery dates/times in my Home Depot account. I was solely dependent on calls from the delivery team to determine when the fridge would arrive. Typically they would call with only 5 minutes notice.
On the second delivery attempt, I was then told by the delivery crew that they would be unable to connect my fridge to the valve on my sink because it was not compatible with the water line they had and they would only be able to drop the fridge off or reschedule for another day.
I as the customer had no way of knowing this would be an issue when the fridge was ordered, as there was nothing in the product description that indicated what type of valve was compatible with the water line. As a result my delivery was rescheduled for Saturday, June 6th while I had a new valve installed on my kitchen sink.
For the third delivery attempt, I received a phone call telling me that the delivery truck had broke down and the earliest they could complete the order was Tuesday, June 9th.
On June 9th, the delivery was finally completed. Home Depot did offer a 25% refund of the cost of the fridge for the delays. But between multiple calls to Home Depot customer service and taking multiple days off work for the various delivery attempts, the entire experience was extremely stressful and inconvenient for me as the customer so it still doesn’t seem like enough. Especially considering this is the first delivery I have ever had with Home Depot as a new customer.
I am very reluctant to use Home Depot in the future and am more inclined to look at other companies for home appliance needs after this week long customer service nightmare.
Only use Home Depot if you have no…
Only use Home Depot if you have no other choice. Doing some renovations. None of the employees want to work. They make excuses like they don’t have it in stock. And you will waste your day hoping someone will help, no one knows anything. They look everything up. Just go online. Look it up yourself and don’t come
Disappointed with Home Depot
I’m extremely disappointed with Home Depot’s so-called customer service.
I purchased an item that was supposed to be delivered last Friday, but it never arrived. When I called customer support, I was told the delivery vendor attempted delivery — which was not true because I was home. Then I was told it would arrive the next day. It didn’t.
The following day, the vendor claimed the lobby door was locked. Again, not true, the lobby is not locked. I was once again promised delivery the next day, and once again, it never happened.
After several calls, I spoke with someone in the escalation department who canceled the order and issued a gift card so I could place a new order. I explained that I urgently needed the item, and she told me my local store had six in stock available for pickup.
I placed the order and waited for the pickup email, only to find out the item was actually being shipped to the store and would take another 3–8 days. When I called support again, I was told there was nothing they could do because the vendor had the order. I was even given a phone number for the vendor that did not work.
Finally, I spoke with Corrina in the Leadership Specialty Ops department. She repeatedly said there was nothing she could do and refused to contact the local store to see if they could provide one of the items they supposedly had in stock.
I’ve dealt with many companies over the years, and when customers experience problems like this, most businesses at least try to make it right. Unfortunately, that was not my experience with Home Depot.
Because of this experience, I’ve decided I will no longer shop at Home Depot and will be taking my business to Lowe’s instead. If you have a choice, I would strongly recommend avoiding Home Depot.
The absolute worst experience ever
The absolute worst experience ever! Spent over $3000 on new appliances, paid for delivery and installation. The installer refused to install the dishwasher and dropped off the unit. It took a few days to figure out what we could do about installation. After installation we discovered the unit had hidden damage from shipping, or perhaps warehouse damage from a forklift which caused the top of the unit to be crushed against top silverware tray. The Home Depot refuses to accept responsibility for it and refers me to Bosch. Bosch tells me it is a Home Depot issue. Have received the complete runaround speaking to about a dozen people in various departments and various levels of the chain of command. My advice… go elsewhere for your major appliances. Home Depot does NOT provide good service and does NOT stand behind the appliances they sell!
Terrible Service
Terrible Service: Team would not connect the water line, they said it was 3 inches too short, I explained to the tech there was extra line under the sink that they just had to pull it a little, they said they could not, we didn't pay for that service. Unbelievable Lazy
