The Home Company

The Home Company, LLC...took over property management of the St. Phillip's Corner Apartments from Northpoint Property Management sometime in 2025. Gina Gastelum is the owner, and Veronica Vironet and Amanda Dillard work for her. I, and the other tenants who resided in these apartments...hoped, beyond measure, that Gina and her team would do a far better job than the previous owners. Sadly, despite our high hopes that she would have far more integrity than her predecessor, we were wrong. Despite my keeping an immaculate, damage-free apartment for two years, and always paying my rent on time on the 1st of each month; as well as having renter's insurance paid. Gina sent me a notice of intent to terminate my lease when it was due to be renewed, which was March 31st. I had absolutely NO lease violations. I consulted with a landlord/tenant attorney, who told me that in the state of AZ...if there was sufficient notice from the property manager to the tenant, that she could do so, unless there was proof of "Retaliation." I personally believe that retaliation is the case, as I would never acquiesce or capitulate to her constant insistence that I NOT "Cc" her on the emails I sent to the onsite apartment manager, Danielle Reyes. Gina, like the former property manager, became a puppet to the whims, beliefs, and misrepresentations of some of the tenants, offered-up by the onsite apartment manager, Danielle Reyes. I offered to send Gina copies of emails that had been exchanged between me and Danielle Reyes...and she flat-out refused to view them. These emails would have elucidated the onsite apartment manager's propensity towards fabricating untruths about certain tenants whom she did not like...and would have given her irrefutable insight into her lack of integrity. My opinion, based on personal experience is DO NOT do business with Gina Gastelum and The Home Company...and consider other apartments, other than St. Philip's Corner... as this complex also has ongoing problems with significant water leaks, and algae in the pool for days. One bright note however, is that Hector, the Maintenance man is excellent at his trade, and a wonderful human being as well.
