They just scam their customers.

They just scam their customers.

- They sell you an normal license but then you need an subsciption anyways to get updates for bugs that were already there when you bought the license.

- They rarely fix any bugs.

- If you report bugs,. they ignore them if you don't submit an extensive amount of personal hand data, even if the issue is easy to see without.

- They announced "Leakonomics" for quite a while in the tool, which was the reason I extended, now they released it as a separate full-price-product.

- The program is so full of bugs they don't even care for, I would not trust any of the advanced statistics.

- When they don't like you complaining they just ignore your emails at all, as if you was no paying customer.

If it was it worth for the few bucks, I would sue them.

Close to scam

I read a lot of reviews for Poker Tracker software (i.e. for Pokertracker, Holdem Manager, Hand2Note). Little did I know that those "tests" are nothing else then advertisements or fishing for referrals. This software (and I heard it is the same for Pokertracker 4) is full of bugs but none of the tests seems to actually verify if they are working correct.

The only thing that is working right: Creating a journal of your hands. All the rest is flawed. You want an overview about your spendings and earnings? Forget it! Alone for GG there are so many flaws: T$ and C$ are not recognized, some currencies not recognized at all. At 888poker add ons etc are not recognized. These are only examples, there are a lot more problems. I expect these things are tested and working extensively but no.

Next thing: Play a bounty tournament on GGPoker, they add a bounty in the attribute bounty BUT DON'T MARK THE TOURNAMENT AS A BOUNTY TOURNAMENT. I think when noticing that there is a bounty, it might be safe to also mark the tournament as a bounty tournament, right? Not for the guys at Holdem Manager. And guess what happens when you report this? They don't put their developers to work, no - they put YOU to work expecting you to sendin hand summaries, otherwise they just ignore the bug.

And thats not the only thing. If you report those things to the support they don't get their ass up and see how to fix things, no! First they send you all the same "how do I import histories" tutorial as a reply to ANY question. Then, they ask you to send in your personal hand summaries (according to them they have no own sample data - either that is a lie or it is no wonder in which state the software is).

Ultimately they even refuse to refund my money for this non-working piece of software.

But the worst: They make it look like a one-time buy. But when you want to have updates after a year, you have to pay a significant price again. And that is to fix "bugs" for features that should have been working from the beginning!

This is really only a shortlist of the problems this software has. And please bear in mind, that the software is intended to analyse your play with very, very complex calculations - how can I consider any of them to be correct if not even the basics work?

They even refuse to import the tournament names despite multiple user requests. Imagine that - you create a software to track tournaments but you refuse to include the NAME of the tournament in the data.

Use another tracker if you can

I was using holdem manager 2 for almost 10 years, everything was fine. Then they stopped supporting Winamax.

I've been using HEM3 for almost 2 months now, and it is worst than HEM 1, they totally broke a fine sofware.

- Some important functionalities have disappared :
The switch between session stats and overall stat in a click and the reset of the session stat in a click

- HUD Filter for the numbers of players, instead of table type. On the Winamax full ring tables if there is only 5 or 6 players on a full ring table, my HUD for 5 max is displayed (and it doesn't fit on the table !)

- Some hands are not imported corretly (the worst part is that they are imported correctly on HEM2)

- Design of the main menu is less functional than before

- Support is innefficient and can't answer basic problems

Pretty bad product overall.

Pretty bad product overall.
The only thing you can really use it for is a glorified hand replayer and hand database.
Stats are very unreliable and full of errors - BEWARE
They obviously don't care, I've told support about them and they prefer to work on new features instead of making their current features actually work correctly. I would stay away.
