James you and the team have an amazing start of the year, as he knows I am a busy entrepreneur and now that I got some free time a big thank you is a MUST. James knows how painful this case has been for me and I had to change 2 law firms to get the expertise and service I needed. Again, James my man thank you!

I have no energy to explain the 7 months of pain I have had with Hodders Law. All I can say is do not go with Hodders Law.

I instructed them on the purchase of my property. They were rude, unreliable and terrible at maintaining communication. They leave juniors to run deals totally unsupervised so when I reached out to the senior she was even less helpful. Zero accountability. I had to rely on communicating with the sell side team in order to get anything done. Would not recommend at all.

I cannot recommend Hodders Law. They almost never take your calls direct. They use a call centre that are frankly painful to deal with. Often it will take you days to get a response from your conveyancer, sometimes a week or more. Many of my emails were not responded to. Key emails from the third party solicitors did not reach me.

When I asked for money off the conveyancing fees, they paid it without quibbling it which led me to believe that they suspect that their customer service is not the best.

Use somebody else would be my advice.

I had the the good fortune of Daylia Jonson working on my sale Daylia was thorough, helpful and explained the process.
However, I was assigned a different conveyancer for purchase. Could not understand why, this experience was a little haphazard, with the conveyancer going on annual leave part way through the purchase. Lady luck was on my side as Daylia, was assigned in his absence. Again Daylia was helpful thorough and professional.

Amazing guidance from Sean Gardiner at Hodders Solicitors. Even though our purchase didn't complete, his advice and guidance through the attempted purchase of our first home was needed and highly appreciated! He potentially saved us from losing a lot of money on a purchase that had a few too many 'grey areas' on the sellers' side - I am thankful for his constant updates, opinions and professionalism. Once we're ready to purchase I will book his services again with absolute confidence.

I am very pleased with how my case was assessed from the beginning by RJay. He is very knowledgeable and accommodating. However, the client care team got the purchase price wrong and was a bit slow to reply on my query. However, I am satisfied with the services offered. I am glad with Karen being ever so patient. Obviously, I can take into account the email was not the best form of communication. I wish there was a text reminder if a message is coming through as I don't monitor my email inbox closely.

I am so happy we found Mr.Sean Gardiner to act as our Solicitor in buying a flat. Sean is the most thorough, excellent Solicitor and leaves no stone unturned. If there are any pitfalls, Sean will find and deal with them. He has been supportive throughout the process and I have been so very impressed by his hard work. Highly recommended!

USE THIS FIRM AT YOUR PERIL
No customer service, they never returned any message left with reception. Had to constantly chase to get anything done and ignored my instructions when given a completion date. Had 2 different staff dealing with the purchase and sale who did not communicate with each other. Only managed to get anything done after obtaining the contact details for the office manager, Druvi Gunawardena, who I was put through to after requesting to make a formal complaint. If anything needed doing I had to call him and he would arrange for the work to be done.
Only gave the 1 star for Druvi, otherwise it would have been no stars. Druvi himself deserves 5 stars, unfortunately his colleagues let him down.
Even after more then 2 months I am still waiting on the final paperwork and having to chase again.

As a first time buyer, they made the whole process stress free and very easy. Karen and her team were amazing, friendly and very professional. And I would definitely recommend them to anyone! Thanks a lot again Karen you kept up to your promises!

I recommand Hodders.. Despite my case was complicated, Mr Sean Gardiner showed a very high level of professionalism, patience and efficiency. Sean was always available, friendly and to the point. I would also highlight the good quality of customer service of all the team in hodders as well as their competitive pricing.

I have been very happy in dealing with the Hodders Solicitors Team supervised by Ms Karen Rieveley. The Team and the supervisor used to furnish the jobs on time within the schedule; sometime there were delay in the communications, but I realized that it was for a neat and clean legality. Starting from collecting the documents to payments and handing in the Title Deed were transparent, timely and trouble-free. AVOID AT ALL COSTS!!!

The worst when it comes to communication and staying on top of things!! This is my second review on this useless firm on the same case. Still the same experience- nothing has changed or improved

I would like to recognise Carol with whom I have been corresponding. She was very professional and understanding, with great customer service. Would highly recommend her! Outstanding performance by Hodders Solicitors!

The way it should be!
Used Karen and his the team at Hodders twice now and couldn't recommend highly enough. Nothing is too much trouble for them. Queries answered quickly and professionally. Easy to keep in touch with progress via their app. Brilliant. Hoping not to move house again for a while, but when we do Hodders will be involved.

Hodders sat on the mortgage offer for two months and only raised questions a few hours before completion. The last minute queries had been cleared a month and should not have been raised. They botched the initially agreed completion date. After botching the completion, the solicitor decided to go on a week long holiday and there was no cover for her. The communication with the solicitor for our onward purchase was poor. As a result, we almost lost the onward purchase because of this. I won't use Hodders again and won't recommend them based on my experience.

It was nice to deal with Hodders Law. I was updated regularly and was replied in time about queries. Thanks to all the team
