Very professional, helpful and well organised team. I sold my trailer at the Ascot racecourse venue and it far exceeded my expectations. Highly recommended.

I have now bought 2 cars from Historics and was very pleased with the experience on both occasions. The descriptions of the cars were accurate and informed. The auctions themselves were well laid out (for previewing) and paperwork collated in box files. I am surprised to read some of the poor reviews as these clearly show a level of inexperience in dealing with older cars.

Sick of their false advertising on ebay. Listing cars for low prices, then saying in the listing description that the car is due to be auctioned somewhere else.

Bought an Aston Martin, as an after auction purchase. Car was described as being in nice condition, with recent MOT in August 24. Upon Arrival, car was leaking fuel, engine Oil and gearbox fluid. Engine could hardly turn over and sounded horrible, after further inspection the Oil was more petrol than Oil, also no oilpressure which means the engine was shot, car has not been driven by me after delivery. Also all steering bushes were gone, theese things were not mentioned either in the auction description or when talking to Historics after. With the auction description this has been grosly misleading! I have contacted Them and they completely wash their hands! My advise stay away if you dont want to part with your money with nothing to show for it, they are crooks!

Completely dishonest people ! I bought a car from them and the car was not like they said it was ! I am gonna cut it short just stay away from them they are crooks with nice suit

Entered my classic into Historics Auctions and the result was a disaster. A waste of time and money. Low insulting dealer's offers came in end of sale.
Furthermore, Historics refused to return my documents when entry fee etc was paid. I was treated like a criminal. I have been involved with classic cars for 35 years and was very shocked with the service and treatment received. Never again.

I have just sold My Mothers Classic 92 BMW through Historics Auctioneers .. I would just like to say the service and marketing from Mathew and the Team was exceptional from start to finish. The process was seamless and completely stress with results well beyond our expectations. Highly recommend !

Buyer beware, ensure you check the paperwork as all may not be as described, pay particular attention to any suggested service history, it may not exist. Also check the vehicle quality and roadworthiness, do not rely on the MOT. In my experience very unprofessional and only interested in shifting units and ignoring issues, now ignoring emails, beware….

I would advise anyone considering buying from here to read clause 7 of their "terms and conditions" which state that you cannot rely on ANYTHING in their catalogue description OR anything they have told you in writing or on the phone about what you are about to buy.

I was a bit nervous about buying a car at auction for the first time but the Historics team were so friendly and helpful. They answered all my questions and provided me with all the information I needed to be confident enough to make a bid.

Thank you Historics, I will certainly come back again in the future.

I called Historics Auctions to pay for the car I had bought at their 27/11/2021 auction. Disappointingly, the lady I spoke with could not even tell me if I could drive the car away from the auction site. In view of this, I decided to use their recommended transport firm (which was good). However, in Historics' very poorly (confusingly) drafted email, they set out the car transport cost as being £132+VAT. Upon calling the transporter, I was told that the cost would be £498. When I rang Historics to complain, I was (stroppily) informed that they had "clearly" stated (2 paragraphs before!) that the cost referred to transporting the car from the auction site to the transporter's - which was certainly not the case. (As every buyer would naturally be more interested in the cost of delivering to them, shouldn't this be set out clearly??) The lady was adamant that it was clear but, if I with numerous degrees including a higher doctorate could not link "their dots", it was simply a case of her adding insult to injury. When I requested that her manager call me, she very brusquely informed me that she was the manager - but whilst refusing to tell me who she would ask to call me, she advised me that someone would be in touch. I subsequently received an email from her colleague, to which I replied asking him to call me. He never did. This was a sadly disappointing experience and it certainly does not surprise me that Historics is not even listed in Trustpilot's list of car auctioneers. Historics seems to be staffed by poorly trained, customer unfriendly and arrogant folk who treat customers as annoying inconveniences rather than the long term assets they could be. Naturally, this is the last time I shall be buying anything through them, particularly as their (far superior) competitors provide much better customer service. And in this age of relevant differentiation, customer experience is almost always the critical deciding factor!
