Product may be good but I cannot comment on that because it hasn't been made or sent yet! Ordered on 15th April, paid for fast delivery and expected the book on the 20th which was last Monday. Contacted by email to ask for tracking only to be told it hadn't been sent and no idea when it would be. Very apologetic but still no book and I need it for 23rd april which is my husband's 70th birthday. They did answer my emails to begin with but now ignore me. So disappointed. So if you are thinking of buying g a book, DONT. Find something else.

I initially had a frustrating experience with delivery delays, but I want to give credit where it’s due.

Historic Newspapers made a genuine effort to resolve the issue — they refunded the delivery fee, traced the original parcel, and arranged a replacement without hesitation. The original item was eventually located and collected, and the matter was fully resolved.

The product itself is excellent and makes for a very unique gift. What stood out most was that when things went wrong, their team took responsibility and sorted it out properly.

I would definitely recommend them.

I ordered two different items, and they were exactly what I was looking for. I’m completely satisfied, and the person I gifted it to said it’s their favorite present.

Delivery was a day later than stated at time of purchase. I was sent an inaccurate message saying the product had been delivered at 10am on the correct day when I was at home all that morning. I had ordered it as a birthday present for the next day so I contacted HN through their email address to be told the message was inaccurate and it was still in an Amazon warehouse. I could have a refund or it would be delivered within 10 days. Fortunately I waited and it arrived the day of the birthday.
This followed a previous experience where a friend bought an HN product for me but it was delivered to the wring address.
The product is great but the delivery and service sucks

I’m really impressed with the quality of the book — it’s worth every penny. It arrived quickly and was very securely packaged. The print is quite small on the older pages, but that’s expected as they’re taken from original newspapers, and it becomes larger in the more recent editions. Overall, it makes a truly unique and highly recommended gift.

First, I must say that I’m very happy with the product itself (apart from the colour I erroneously ordered)
BUT, there is no phone number listed on their website. However, there is one that comes up using a Google search which, unfortunately replies with 'no longer available'. Either way it's impossible to speak to a member of staff.

I realised immediately that I’d inadvertently ordered the wrong colour so I needed to amend my order. With no way of speaking to an actual person I emailed within 15 mins of placing it but received a standard fob off reply. If I could have spoken to a real person my amendment could have been actioned.

Their emailed communication and apology was excellent but too late to have any effect on my order.

I don’t understand why they avoid talking to customers directly as
I believe publishing a phone number and being available to answer the phone gives re-assurance to buyers so would enormously improve their customer service.

Spent $200 on an F1 book for my brothers birthday. It has just arrived and I’m appalled at the state it has been delivered in. The front pages look like they were glued down by a toddler, and the front cover is so bent that the book doesn’t close properly. So disappointed in this dismal quality. Shouldn’t have paid any more than $50 for the quality of this book.

I made a mistake in my ordering and they fixed it and sent the correct one immediately. FANTASTIC and responsive customer service. The F1 book I purchased for my daughter was fantastic and being able to add a short dedication was so cool! It was everything I had hoped for. Highly recommended!

DO NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY. I ordered the historic Notre Dame football book as a gift for my 94-year-old father, who grew up with ND. I am sorely disappointed. The type is so small that it cannot be read. The marketing photos on the website are truly misleading. They do not accept returns and offered a 20% refund on the $139.99 order. Save yourself the frustration and move on to another source.

My mum ordered quite close to Christmas as a last min gift for my dad. We paid for express delivery which generated an estimated delivery of the day before Christmas. I hadn’t seen much movement so pinged the team an email - and since Skye and Gemma have been great helps informing me transparently of where and when my order was and when it was expected/ delivered. The book made it at the correctly provided time and i was extremely grateful for the whole experience. Would purchase again!

So disappointed in the book. Half is packed with the tiniest print clippings from long ago that you can’t read and the paper is poor quality. It looks tacky rather than a keepsake. I was too embarrassed to give it to my partner for Christmas so it’s a huge waste of money. Don’t buy.

Ordered Dec. 1 for a Christmas gift and they ship with the cheapest option, UPS Mail Innovations (no other option available). Gift is stuck in a warehouse close to me but won't be delivered until shipping volume goes down. When I reached out they didn't care, "just tell us if you don't get it and we will refund you". Awful.

Ordered as a Christmas present. The quality of the custom book is awful. It arrived pre-torn around the top of the binding and the pages weren't glued in square to the cover. The inside of the covers where the pages are glued in was also permanently creased. Absolutely not worth the price I paid and they need to sort their quality control out.

The quality & content is very poor the paper that it is printed on is cheap. Could not read some of the content, pages contain very little about subject had a lot of ads and fillers. I bought this as a gift. I am too embarrassed to give to the recipient.

Horrible customer service! I paid for express shipping on my order 12/12/2025, when I didn’t see my order move I spoke with Skye on 12/18/2025. I was told that there would be a delay and that the order would ship in 3-5 days with upgraded shipping.

Skye was VERY DISHONEST because I was sent a tracking number that had UPS ground shipping. I paid an extra $19.99 for express shipping so where did the upgrade go, because standard shipping is $14.99. If there were truly an upgrade this wouldn’t be taken 7 days to get to me and be arriving 5 days after Christmas.

I would not have wasted $180 on a Christmas gift that I am unable to give to the recipient because of this company inept management and customer service.

I didn't actually get a product from here. I attempted to order during their black Friday sale but their codes were bogus and wouldn't work. I went to order one anyway after the sale, and they jacked their prices up 20% from their normal prices. Seems like a scam of a company to me.

Stay far far away from this company, their quality and handling of products is so far from satisfactory. Their “tried and tested” packaging is just cardboard, not an ounce of bubble wrap or protection insight, especially for the foil printed items.

I’ve received damaged items both first order and replacement order, I’m done.

As other people have said, very cool idea but if you can’t nail basics things like handling of products with care and precision printing you shouldn’t be doing this work.

My Nottingham Forest one came yesterday, it’s a present for someone this Christmas. Paid extra for the foil blocking, gift box and personalisation but lacks the quality I expected. Paid £90odd with the extras.

Working in the print trade for over 30years I wasn’t happy with the casing in, the front is warped, the foil blocking has spread and just readable. I think it’s a cheap digital foil if I’m honest. The alignment of the title text isn’t centre. The content was less than I expected also, early years is very diluted.

The idea is great, the quality of the end product wouldn’t get out the factory for the company I work for. Save your money paying for any extras with this.

The plus is I got it when expected.

I ordered this as a birthday gift for my father, and the package has been lost. Customer service is not helpful at all and now I'm out $80. I'm extremely disappointed and didn't have anything to give for my dad on his birthday this year. So thanks!
