Poor Service, Extraordinarily Incompetent, Grasping
I have had PI with Hiscox since 2012 & never made a claim. On 8th January I emailed to update my details. A Zoe Todner replied saying they could not do so because I'd written from my business email address which they did not know, rather than the more generic business email address. I wrote back providing all the information requested on 9th January. There was no reply, despite a chase on 15th. I cancelled the policy by email on 19th January. On 20th January I received an email from an Olly Ball saying they had made the changes to my details & were sending the corrected documents to me. Four days after I cancelled I got yet another email, this time saying the direct debit had not gone through & to get in touch. On 26th January dear old Zoe sent me an identical email to the one she sent on 9th. 18 days on they have lost or failed to deal with my request. Incidentally, they are also demanding payment for a further month.
Shambolic, slow & incompetent. I am now seeking to lodge a formal complaint to their Operations Director.
Heaven help you if you actually get a claim & need help!

Shocking customer service and support
Shocking customer service and support. They cancelled my direct debit and policy without any instruction from me. In asking about this I got nowhere with the team and no response to my email after 3 business days. Totally unacceptable. Would not recommend using their services.
