Wrong Stamps Delivered

I ordered two sets of stamps displaying horse heads through Hip Stamps. The vendor was Marlen Stamp & Coin. I wanted stamps showing horses for my business. Both sets of stamps received displayed Heritage Breeds, including pigs, goats, fowl, sheep, etc, not the horses I expected and ordered.

I reached out to Marlen and their telephone had been discontinued, and their website said "temporarily closed." I reached out by email, but never heard back.

i contacted Hip Stamps, and they were to contact Marlen for me, but never did. They suggested that I get a refund from PayPal, but I don't have an account with them and the credit card used has since been voided.

Hip Stamps wants me to jump through a lot of complex computer hoops to get a refund. And I have no confidence that even if I returned the wrong stamps to Marlen I would get my money back because they appear to be defunct and you cannot reach them.

Hip Stamps totally failed to conduct any quality control over what they sent out. The order clearly states "Horse Sheet" and I received "Heritage Breeds." The company takes NO responsibility for their mistakes and puts the onerous you to get your money back from a company that is "temporarily closed" and has disconnected their phone.

Dishonest broker.

Hip Stamp Order was forwarded to Lawrence Fong who charge $34.32 shipping and handling for a $25 order that was shipped regular post in a standard envelope. What a scam.

ZERO FOLLOW-THRU BY HIPSTAMP ON PROBLEM

"Snipe" bid a collection of "mint" condition revenue stamps. I won the auction for a very good price. Paid immediately and then the problems started. First , the dealer in question didn't ship the lot for over 2 weeks. Then, upon my contacting him to complain, I did finally receive some of the stamps pictured in the auction lot. When I contacted the dealer to notify him (courteously I might add) he said he was sure they were all there and never communicated again. Finally, after posting my issue ob their forums I DID HEAR via email from a represenative of HIPSTAMP who stated they would handle the issue from that point forward and that they valued my business( I had purchased several thousand dollars worth of stamps previously from other SELLERS). After a month of not hearing anything back from hipstamp rep, I contacted them and they relied "Oh, I contacted the seller regarding the issue and he never responded to my inquiry" and that was it! No further actions taken, the seller continues to list the same auction lot every week and gets bids (so I assume he has several copies of these stamps). Sooo, apparantly, if you are a dealer, you can "blow off" valid complaints (even when contacted by HIpstamp directly) and HIPSTAMP won't take any action. Needless to say, that was my last purchase from the site well over 1 year ago.

Perfect site

Searching is easy. You can find whatever you find. you don't need to write sheet or blocks they put it on the menu.
Buyer protection is excellent. They use paypal for their payment system.
Sellers are the same ones in ebay and other sites. prices a lttle bit more from ebay but they can be tolerated.
Need more traffic. A lot of people don't know this site but it is a gem.
