Absolute joke of a company. This company was used through my boiler cover via Domestic & General. Got a quick appointment which I thought was a good sign and engineer came out said it was a leak and that a part would be ordered. Advised not to use the heating or hot water. 2nd engineer came out and said it didn't need the part that was ordered and that he had sorted it. He advised to wait a week to see if everything was okay. Worked for a week then same error code and issue. Phoned again - 3rd engineer turned up at 4.45 (they finish at 5!) and he couldn't wait to get out the door. Poor communication and he left before 15 minutes after clearing the boiler code again saying it needed a part and this would have to be fitted by a plumber. Again no communication about what was needed and timescales etc. After 2 days phoned the office who advised no engineer would be coming back as its a plumbing problem and that its not their issue anymore as I do not have plumbing cover via D&G!!! So basically the engineer lied about ordering a part then did a runner with no intention of coming back! Didn't have an answer for any of my questions and seemed totally disinterested - just washed their hands of it. Not happy at all and going to take this up with D&G because I never want this company to come anywhere near my boiler again!
Nice touch to come out on a Sunday to get me up and going again whilst waiting on parts - thanks to Colin for sorting - Appreciated 👌🏻
Engineer Martin came out to service our gas boiler through our Domestic General breakdown policy. Very polite and helpful. Lovely guy 👍
Avoid avoid avoid - subcontracted via domestic and general boiler care - don’t bother complaining! the rude and “ is what it is attitude “ will be your response - lied about where to get my engineers report which left me all weekend with no information. Could go on however I’ll never use them again and have escalated to my insurance provider.
Big thanks for saving my weekend. Boiler broke on a Friday - got a same day appointment. Hiflow guy arrived about lunchtime, diagnosed fault on boiler and collected part at Irvine and got me up and running in no time. Happy Days.

Excellent service. They diagnosed the problem, ordered the part and came back to fit it. All working as it should now. Appointments were pre arranged they turned up in the time frame they agreed. Very happy.
Just had a new Vokera gas Combi fitted by the team at Hiflow. Arranged with my letting agent. Guys were great, kept place tidy done job in a day . New timer and a visit from supervisor Gerry to check all good 😊
Helped me once again through my insurance firm. Came out Saturday and did a temporary repair Returned today Monday and completed. Thanks again Gerry.
This company was contracted through scottish power. left my boiler damaged and part is obsolete, still works though! what! its okay! awful company would never use again..!
Came Monday - wrong part. Came Tuesday & stripped boiler - wrong part, Didnt reconnect filling loop properly. back 2 days later & fitted part Came home to find leak, can't top up boiler & a part lying on floor. back yesterday & put it back on but broke tap to top up pressure. back today & left saying back tomorow with another part, leaving a leak and without putting hot water back on. Called Hiflow - very rude & hung up then called back saying they would come tomorrow. We said no it's an emergency & she then said it would be tomorrow and she didnt like our attitude. I asked for her name and she refused then hung up. Less than a minute later got a call from anonymous number; a very aggressive male at Hilfow who accused us of using "foul & abusive" language - a complete lie - refused to give more detail / listen (wouldnt let me talk at all, or record the call!) We have no hot water, they made our boiler worse and now they're telling lies so they dont have to come back and fix the problem they caused!
Would have given minus 5 if I could. Disgrace of a company! Had no choice but to have them as part of a gas service policy. They broke the boiler! The people that run it were absolutely shocking in dealing with us. Rude, aggressive and then just refused to deal with us and domestic and general! Do not go anywhere near these cowboys 😡
Called out of hours as this was the number on landlords letter as emergency contact.
Completely standoffish, not helpful at all.

Do not let them in your house if you have kids. !!!
They see this as an opportunity to corner you and hit you with unreasonable repair costs and unnecessary work. Worst part, if you refuse and state you would like to have a second opinion, they will bully you by cutting the mains gas off and threaten to report you.
In our case I blocked the engineer from cutting our gas and ended up having a heated argument as he was refusing to leave and kept threatening to report us and have the gas cut off. I wish we had recording to send it to BBC watch dog and rouge traders TV show.
Called another company and my boiler only needed a new thermostat and it’s all up and running now. I wish I could mention their name but this will then sound like I am advertising for someone.
God knows how they deal with old pensioners and venerable families with little knowledge of gas and boilers. I wish i had read reviews before calling them.
