As a president circle member, our vehicle was subpar. It was over 4 years old and had more than 100,000 miles. I would expect this from a discount rental company but not Hertz
Everything went as it should have. I tried to change my pick up time and it didn't go through on the website, but despite that, the car was still ready.

Zero Star
Zero Star — Extremely serious incident involving Hertz employees
I am leaving this review because my experience at this Hertz location in Salem, Oregon, was completely unacceptable and involved an incident far more serious than ordinary poor customer service.
I was physically assaulted by individuals who were Hertz employees at this location. This is a serious allegation involving the safety and conduct of Hertz employees, and I expect Hertz corporate management to treat it accordingly.
I am formally calling on Hertz corporate management to conduct a full and impartial investigation into this incident, including identifying every employee involved, interviewing witnesses, reviewing all available employee records, and determining exactly what occurred.
I also expect Hertz to immediately preserve all surveillance/security footage from the location covering the date and time of the incident, including any exterior cameras, interior cameras, parking-lot footage, entrance/exit footage, and any other recordings that may have captured the incident or the events immediately before or afterward.
I am also requesting that Hertz preserve all relevant records, including employee schedules, time records, incident reports, internal communications, customer records, and any other documentation relating to this incident. I do not want potentially relevant evidence destroyed, overwritten, or otherwise lost.
I have retained evidence relating to what occurred and am pursuing this matter through the appropriate channels.
Customers have a reasonable expectation of safety when dealing with a major rental-car company. Being physically assaulted by employees is not a customer-service issue—it is a serious safety matter that demands accountability.
Hertz corporate management needs to investigate this incident thoroughly, preserve the evidence, and take appropriate action regarding the employees involved.
This review reflects my firsthand experience and is intended to document what happened and bring the matter to the attention of Hertz management and the public.
