We booked Angela's services for the deep clean of two bathrooms in the new house we purchased. The lady from Angela's team did an absolutely incredible job. She worked on the bathrooms patiently and didnt rush through it all. Both bathrooms were sparkling clean once she had finished.

I booked Herts Cleaning Angels for a full deep clean following the purchase and re-painting of a part of the house. The property was already in good condition as evidenced from photos I shared prior to booking and I explained in advance that the job was mainly a thorough sanitising deep clean.

The cleaners arrived at 7am and left at around 4pm, so I expected the property to be thoroughly cleaned after a day on site. However, after they left, I began finding multiple areas that had clearly not been cleaned. These included inside bathroom cabinets and shelving, the top of waterfall shower heads, a toilet rim, bathroom floors that were still dirty, kitchen splashbacks and worktop surfaces and window frames above the kitchen sink. These were not minor finishing touches but areas that were missed entirely.

I had also explained beforehand that a part of the house had just been re-painted. After the clean, I was told that paint removal from patches of the floor was a different type of clean and not included, which was not something that had been clearly distinguished when discussing a deep clean following a renovation.

In addition, we specifically pointed out that a brand new washing machine and dryer had been installed the day before and were not to be touched, however they were left dirty after the clean.

After the cleaners left, we continued to find missed areas and had to document these with photos and videos. We have since had to arrange for another cleaner to come and finish the job, which was both unexpected and disappointing after paying for a full professional deep clean.

When I raised these issues, the only solution offered was that the manager would return to address the missed areas herself, but by that point we had lost confidence and it would have been very inconvenient as I was in the middle of moving into the house and settling in with a young child.

No partial refund or goodwill refund was offered and we did not receive any apology for the missed areas, the brand new appliances which were soiled or the inconvenience caused. We were also not provided with an invoice or receipt for the work despite full payment being requested and paid.

Based on my experience, I could not recommend this company and I certainly will not be using them again.

For anyone in the Hertfordshire area - a huge thank you and massive recommendation for the amazing ladies at Herts Cleaning Angels.
So easy to deal with from first contact through to your final walk through.
Attention to detail and amount of work they did to clean up a lot of historical dirt gave unbelievable results.

Treat yourself to a lovely deep clean and go off to the pub while they do it like I did ❤️

Whilst I can't speak for this company's ability to clean, I can speak to the attitude and approach to service. Angela also rents a property via Booking.com and privately.

I made a booking for her 2 bed apartment on Sat 25th Nov. This was booked, confirmed and paid for, 7 weeks prior. I confirmed again on the day, prior to check in, and was told we were good to go. We checked in, only to find bags in the kitchen and in the bedrooms. Anther group has already checked in!?

We called Angela and she confirmed they had double booked the apartment, and WE had to leave!? Angela made call and found us another apartment, which turned out to be only 1 bed, and more expensive. My friend had to sleep on a small sofa! I spoke to the other group the following morning and they confirmed they only booked 4 weeks prior, so the right thing to do would have been to ask them to leave.

In a bid to discourage me from speaking to the other group, Angela told me it was a family booking with children. Having met them, this turned out to be a lie.

Angela offered nothing, by way of compensation, for all the hassle and stress she caused me and my friend. It's safe to say, based on attitude and service, I would never use Angela’s services again.

They were great when the estate agent booked them to do an end of tenancy clean. Based on this, I made the mistake of asking Angela to come and clean my private property, however, I felt that as I was now an individual client, they simply didn't take the care and effort, nor time, that they should have. Lots of things were missed out. They started around 10am as had trouble with getting in apparently, and then they messaged around 4pm saying it was all complete. When I returned home from work , it was ok but not gleaming as it was with my end of tenancy clean and yet cost wise, was roughly the same. Nothing wrong with this company, however, I would stick to using them through estate agents for end of tenancy cleans and not individual custom. I have used a different name for the purposes of this review.

Angela and her team of aptly named angels undertook a deep clean of our home following construction work . We were thoroughly impressed with their professionalism. They worked their socks off, were polite and friendly . We would both recommend and use them again!! Thanks once more Mary and Joey Kings Langley x

Angela & her team were absolutely brilliant! They undertook a deep clean of both a house we were moving out and one we were moving into and couldn’t have done more to help us. We had issues with getting keys on time and the team bent over backwards, staying very late into the night to ensure that our house was deep cleaned ready for my family to move into. Once in we were so grateful for the quality of the clean. Carpets felt fresh, cupboards like new & oven sparkling!!!

We had to get the house cleaned before the tenancy started at short notice. Angela was good at getting her cleaners to do the job at short notice and the house was cleaned well. However, their costs were almost double other professional cleaning companies. We also contacted two other professional cleaning companies both of which came close to c. £250 and this included carpet cleaning in one room, oven cleaning, extractor fan and removing mould around the windows. Removing mould is usually difficult and we are aware that we can only expect reasonable efforts from the cleaners.

However, Herts Cleaning charged us seperately for all the above items listed which was well over £400. They claim that this job requires 3 people for a full day but not sure if that is the case for a two-bedroom terraced house and there is no way to validate the amount of work that goes into cleaning.

If we weren't up against the wall to get the property cleaned within a day, we would not have used them -- purely because their pricing is unreasonably expensive compared to other professional cleaning companies with 4.5 star ratings on Google.

I have had a clean from this company off the books and that was fine until they (angela and her partner dee) managed to gain relationships with people close to me, baptized my non religious child (she was 16 and some what vulnerable at the time ) in a birthing pool in their frontroom and went on to deny it... Mocked and insulted me when confronted but I have and had evidence of the events that will be shown publicly at some point.
Avoid at all costs if u have children is my advice, as a normal dbs check makes them free to enter your homes whilst using their position and God as a weapon to captivate and destroy you . Get a Deep clean from another company would be my advice

Angela and her team did an amazing job at our new home. They also booked carpet and oven cleaners for us.

It made our move day much less stressful as they took care of everything.

They do their upmost best to accommodate all sizes of jobs, even at short notice. An excellent standard of cleaning and completed in a timely manner. Their prices are reflected fairly and give an honest opinion of what’s required however, are down to earth and will discuss case by case; this also goes for any problems that come up. I would recommend this company through my own personal experiences.

Herts Cleaning Angels came to me for the first time today. They kindly fitted my house in at short notice for an urgent clean. My house has been given a very thorough clean and it now looks amazing. I am very happy to give this company a 5* rating and I recommend them very highly to anyone else. They are a very professional team, who listen exactly to what is being asked for and then provide an excellent service.

They came and actually looked at the property and talked me through what they'd do before quoting. The quote was written up and clear. Once all was agreed, they turned up on time and got straight to work. The house looked incredible afterwards. Attention to detail was brilliant. All the mould in the grout was gone and years of limescale build up sorted.

I'm hoping they'll come and do a once over where I live now!

In all my 12 years experience in the lettings industry, I have never come across a cleaning company as professional and excellent in their service as Herts Cleaning Angels. The team there really do the best cleaning job I've seen. Recommend them to all my clients.
