OM OS: For enden af Danmarks længste allé, som er en del af Ledreborg Gods, ligger Herthadalen smukt gemt i skoven i Danmarks nye nationalpark. De smukke lokaler, som alle har egen terrasse med udsigt over Knapsø, har plads fra 20 til 200 personer, og er en perfekt ramme for alle typer af selskaber for private som virksomheder. KONCEPT: Vi ønsker at benytte princippet nærhed. Derfor får vi en del råvarer fra nærområdet, ligesom vi dagligt plukker urter og blomster fra vores egen store urtehave og skoven. Et andet princip er, at vi ønsker at bruge hele dyr – fra snude til hale - så man undgår unødvendigt madspild. Menuen og udskæringen bestemmes af, hvilke dyr vi har, samt hvilke urter og grøntsager der er sæson for. Vi leverer derfor et bæredygtigt produkt med forståelse for økologi og dyrenes velfærd for – Glade dyr smager bare bedre!

We had the most amazing wedding day in Herthadalen!
Things have been under control and very high service, from start to finish. We were met with great hospitality, both before, during and after the wedding.
Everything worked so well on the day and all our guests were really impressed with both the place, the coziness and the staff.

Everything was perfect for our party of 12. And I have never in my life been served a 'Koldskål' as creamy, fluffy, and absolutely naughty as the one I had at Herthadalen. The dessert alone is worth the (beautiful) drive from the city.
We had our wedding here and we could not have hoped for a better experience. First, the location: it is set in the spectacular wooded grounds of the Ledreborg Slot. Sitting high above a lake strewn with Lillies, the terrace offers wonderful views. The 19th Century thatched cottage in which we had our wedding has been immaculately restored and is beautiful. Now to the service: Mikkel is helpful and friendly, willing to offer advice where needed, and the menu we had was wonderful. The food was perfect. Even last minute adjustments due to food allergies or tastes were met with understanding and without complaint. The service was quiet, unobtrusive, efficient, polite and again, so friendly. The atmosphere was perfect too. We cannot recommend Herthadalen enough. Absolutely perfect.
