I've been playing Hero Wars every single day for several months now and I love this game. It's way more complicated than it may seem at first, one youtuber compared it to "fantasy chess" and I believe that's the best description.
The ads are questionable but every mobile game company uses this approach nowadays :(

CEO is clearly a fetishist.

I don't know who is worse, the company or people that actually try out this crap because of disgusting ads.

Overall it can be played F2P, but online the part "caves of despair ilyssa the weaver" is broken.
Playing on FB it is ok.
I had some help in the support section, reporting this bug, and it appears to be something in google chrome. Firefox and Mozilla work 100%

Horrible drop rates, to many changes developers are money hungry! DO NOT PLAY

youmorons released a non game and claimed it was a game, also everything in hero wars is boring.

After 1 month of playing it's better to start pay (its about 7$ a month) otherwise it start to be annoying. So it's up to you.
I played that game for 1 year a it was fine. Finely I play golden league with our guild (after 10 months).
But it cost me 80$ plus cca 100$ for improvements (but you can spend thosands :) ).
At the end I spend about 80 minutes a day by playing.
All that haters here don't know nothing about strategy and posibilities in this game.
But they are right about excessive advertising and costs.
So enjoy and be carefull what are you spending on your money .).

Advertisements, of which there are many, are not only sloppy and abhorrent but misleading as to the content of this so-called game that does little more than harvest microtransactions through manipulative FOMO while advertising the game as "completely free" without delivering the gameplay demonstrated in the adverts. Typical Chinese developer pulling a bait-and-switch. Hero Wars' website is a significant cybersecurity risk in and of itself, many antiviral software detect it as such. Avoid at all costs, and do not give them a single cent.

Really? How could anyone pay money for cringe? The add campaign is brainless.

One the most misleading, spamming, infuriating, relentless, awful advertising campaigns ever for a mindless, awful pay-to-win cash grab flimsily masquerading as a 'game.'
It's almost impossible now to watch a Youtube video without a noxious advertisement for this vile product popping up mid-video to smash you in the face and burn out your eyes.
The ads appear to market the 'game' as some kind of puzzle game, showing garish, sexist, pervy and often fetishistic scenarios - in reality these 'puzzles' never appear in the 'game' - which is actually a terrible form of cartoony hack and slash combat game where players invest real money to win.
Avoid this product, boycott this product, report every ad you see for this product.

Stop spamming me with Ads on YouTube eben after I block you.

I have never played the Game and never will play any game made by Nexters due to their annoying Ad-campain. They manage me to go out of my way just to downvote them at any Site or write complaints. The Ads are disgusting, harmful, misleading and sexist. to have those ads directed at the younger people i.e. Gamers, its a disgrace for any human that this company can host those ads without getting sued and canceled. i really wish they would change their way of approaching people to play their games. This kind of advertising makes me really upset.

Another one of those money grabbing worthless games, where you only finance mafia like "game developers". If only there was a way to get of rid of this kind of worthless rubbish.
