Hey everyone, I just wanted to share my experience at Herlev Apotek because honestly, I’m still frustrated and a bit shocked.

So I went there last week to pick up my prescription - nothing complicated, just a regular medication I’ve been getting for months. First of all, the staff seemed completely disorganized. I waited almost 25 minutes even though there was no one else in line. When I finally got to the counter, they couldn’t find my prescription in the system even though my doctor had already sent it in the day before.

The person helping me didn’t even apologize, just said, ‘Maybe it’s not ready yet,’ and walked away without explaining anything. I had to ask three times before they finally checked again and found it -and then they gave me the wrong dosage! Luckily, I noticed it before leaving.

When I pointed it out, they acted annoyed instead of apologetic. Like, sorry for wanting to take the right medicine?

Honestly, I’ve never had such an unprofessional experience at a pharmacy. I know mistakes happen, but the attitude and lack of care really bothered me. I won’t be going back there again. If you rely on your meds like I do, maybe double-check everything if you go to Herlev Apotek .

Anyway, just wanted to warn others hopefully they improve their service soon because that was unacceptable.

I would never-ever go back to that miserable pharmacy again.

First I had a very bad experience with them in 2022 when they were unable to find the prescribed medicines in the system due to my admin CPR and hence were unable to give out the meds for our fertility treatment (which was of course time sensitive). The hospital called them the same day to explain that I was coming to get the medication, but it was useless… I was literally crying and begging them to solve the problem, but they were unable to find any solutions.

I ended up at the other pharmacy- Apotek Herlev Ugle, which was literally at the other side of the street and surprisingly they managed to give out the prescribed medication…they saved us that time.

That day I promised myself that I would never go back there again…

Unfortunately I haven’t kept my promise…
Apotek Herlev Ugle - where I wanted to go to avoid this Apotek Herlev - moved to another location (turned out that they just moved inside the shopping mall, but since I was in a rush and didn’t know their exact location I ended up at this miserable place again…).
Oh gosh, I wish I had done otherwise… the guy at the desk was super arrogant, and did not want to give out all the medication that was prescribed. He insisted on asking when I go back for a checkup and only give out the medication that covers the period until … after some back and forth and waiting for the boxes I managed to convince him to give out 9 out of 10, but turned out he could only give me 8 as their stock in their system was inaccurate and they could not find more in their store .. I was very angry by that time, but he also forgot to give me the other medicine that was prescribed. I had to remind him to give it out… I felt he just wanted to get rid of me as quickly as he could, after our very awkward conversation on why he doesn’t want to give the meds that are in the system.
Not to mention that they were a uper slooow, I have waited 20 minutes (!!!) until they managed to get all boxes.

I was so mad at them that I eventually went inside the shopping mall to find the other pharmacy - Herlev Ugle Apotek - and oh gosh, what a difference it was! No waiting time, smiling faces invited me to the desk, and they gave out the rest of my medication without any issues. This has been the second time they saved my day and I am so glad for them 🙏🏼☺️

And again, I am going to keep my promise and stay away from this hell called Herlev Apotek… 😤🙄
